Job Title: Home manager

Description:

I’ve spent three decades working in the care sector and fifteen years managing care homes. I moved to Care UK in 2015 because I really liked the ethos of the company and was impressed by its reputation.

Being a home manager is challenging, but hugely rewarding, and that’s particularly the case as we’re getting a brand new home off the ground. You have to wear many ‘hats’ and be unfazed by pretty much anything in this role. But, no matter what each day brings, I’m happy if the residents are happy – I love seeing them smiling and enjoying their day.

I’m very excited by the prospect of setting up and developing Chandler Court, and of working with the leadership team and home colleagues to make the home part of the community of Bromsgrove, and one of the top care homes in the West Midlands.
