My mum was a resident at Hollins Park for 2 and a half years. She had lived in 2 care homes previously but had to move as her dementia progressed. From the moment Sandra showed us around we felt welcome. Mum was always treated with respect and dignity, and the staff knew how best to handle her if she
became angry or distressed. I had complete confidence in Jasmine and all of the staff, and I was always kept well informed of any changes of medication or changes in Mum's condition. The nurses are wonderful and I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

It was a pleasure to take care of your mum and we always feel it is a partnership with the family. Your visits with your mum and little chats with the staff were reassuring and uplifting.

My father received respite care for a 4 month period at Long Stone Manot. He was welcomed and treated with the utmost kindness & respect by all the staff. My father was very fond of & speaks very highly of the nursing team who cared for him during his stay. He enjoyed the chats he had with the staff,
especially the football banter! All the staff we encountered during his stay, from the management team to the nursing team were professional & empathetic, ensuring any concerns my father raised were addressed and his clinical needs met. Unfortunately, during his stay, my father sustained a mechanical fall which resulted in him being admitted to hospital for a couple of nights. The staff acted promptly & kept me updated re. his transfer to hospital and his overall condition. On his return to the residential home, the staff implemented a number of measures to further reduce his risk of falls. I cannot fault the care my father received and I have no hesitation in recommending this facility

We cannot speak highly enough of the care provided at this home. From the very beginning, staff have shown exceptional kindness, professionalism and genuine compassion. Care is delivered with dignity and respect, and it's clear that residents are truly known as individuals rather than just being part
of a routine.
Communication with families has been excellent, giving us reassurance and confidence that our loved one is safe, comfortable and well cared for. The environment is welcoming, clean and calm, and there is a real sense of warmth throughout the home.
The dedication of the staff makes an enormous difference, and we are extremely grateful for the consistently high standard of care. We would wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone seeking outstanding, person-centred care.

We can not thank and praise the staff at Dee Water Grange enough, from the moment you walk into Reception you are met with a welcome of kindness and happiness . My mum has settled in very well and that's mainly due to the helpful and friendly manner of all the staff .
Her room is spacious /clean
with arm chair and television if she wished to spend time in there, however she also enjoys sitting in the communal lounges or corridor arm chairs just watching the world go by. The staff will encourage her to join in with the regular group activities too. I am happy to know my mum is being looked after so well and not spending her days alone.
It's also great to have the coffee shop where mum loves to visit -plus being able to have her hair and nails done are an additional treat for her.
Overall as a family we are really relieved and satisfied that mum has 24 hour care, she is happy, relaxed and enjoying living here. I would and have already recommended the home.

My Dad has been a resident since Feb this year, during this time his needs have changed considerably due to Parkinson's Disease.
I cannot praise or thank the staff enough for their care and support not just for Dad but also for me and my sister.
It has been a very challenging and upsetting time

I cannot give a higher recommendation than entrusting a beloved Dad into the care of strangers who have become like extended family.
Thank you!

When my husband, who has Alzheimer's, came here at the beginning of August he was made so welcome. He settled in quite quickly and never asks to come home with me. Mum was admitted to Pinetum Chester for rehab after breaking her hip and spent over 3 months there.
The quality of the professional & friendly staff at all levels ensure residents are extremely well looked after. From the beginning Mum was treated with great care, respect and dignity helping her
settle in so much she was reluctant to leave! This friendliness is also extended to the regular family visitors which was so nice.
Mum also enjoyed the light and airy lounge areas where we were able to relax with her when visiting.
From a family point of view we were delighted that Mum was well looked after. She felt safe, happy, well fed and content and that was so reassuring to us .
A small negative is the lack of en-suite facilities though this wasn't an issue for my Mum.
Thankyou to the whole Pinetum team - you have been excellent. Highly recommend.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at PinetumThank you for sharing your thoughts regarding Pinetum. Your kind and thoughtful words about our home and staff are immensely appreciated and we are incredibly pleased to hear that yourself and your mother have enjoyed your experience with us.

Pinetum is an older building, and we are proud to have completed a number of renovations and modernisations across the thirty years we have welcomed residents. We do have a small number of ensuite rooms in our home; however, all floors have a sufficient number of bathrooms, shower rooms, and toilets to accommodate for resident's needs. We are glad to hear that your mother was happy with her arrangements during her stay with us, nevertheless.

We would like to assure you that if any issues did arise, the Home Manager would have been glad to discuss these with you and your mother in detail and do their best to provide a swift resolution to them.
Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback for Pinetum. Your input is invaluable to us.

Longstone Manor is fantastic! The staff are friendly and kind and nothing is ever too much trouble.
The cleanliness of the home is excellent and maintained to the highest standards.
The events for the residents are fabulous! There is so much for them to do both inside and outside the home - if they
choose to partake in the activities.
As a regular visitor - I am always welcomed and made to feel quite special. The different rooms to sit in with your family member / friend are just lovely. If we want drinks, cakes, fruit - it is all there to help yourself. We often sit in the cinema and watch a film together while chatting or sometimes play cards in the cafe. It is a wonderful environment for all. Thank you to all the staff who have made this process as seamless and stress free as possible for us. You are all amazing.
