Mum moved into Hollins Park in January. We have been so impressed by the level of care from all of the carers and nursing staff. They always have a smile and will do anything they can to make the residents feel at home. There are activities organised and the Musical moments is a favourite! Jasmine the
manager is always available and welcoming. My sister and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hollins Park.

A good team is always better with a good manager, this team, every one I have met, which is quite a few of them are great, friendly, professional, caring, supportive and happy in their work.
The standards are exemplary, food quality excellent, cleanliness excellent, maintenance standards excellent,
obviously nursing excellent.
Nursing staff are really caring, listen and act on issues that will obviously arise when people like my 92 year old mother's health deteriorates.
The medical practice that looks after the residents have so far been perfect, my mother's pain came from nothing two months ago to horrendous in the hospital, now under complete control.
I have no issues whatsoever recommending this nursing home for anyone who has a relative needing it. I really hope that you never need it but if you do it's the best.
Oh, the chefs are great, the food is good and can be adjusted to suit your relatives needs.
They all try really hard to make everyone as happy as possible.
Thanks x

There are not enough words to thank every single member of staff for the care of my grandad. They have become family over the past 6months. Not only to grandad but to us as family, the emotional support, endless coffee and cake and meals. The genuine care when we needed it was shown by every single person
and there is genuine support when you need it. Thank you is simply not enough.

Mum moved into Cranford Grange when she lost her partner in February. Unfortunately, she had a major stroke in early March and passed away in May but despite that difficult end to mum's long and happy life, the care she received was nothing short of outstanding, ensuring she had dignity and peace.
The surroundings are simply beautiful for the residents and a pleasure to visit for the families but it is the love, care and friendliness of the staff that is the highlight. The whole team should be proud of the peace of mind you gave to me and my family, knowing that mum was in the best of hands as well as the support we received from you, especially in the final days. I would unreservedly recommend it for anyone wishing for the best for their loved ones.

Unfortunately my mum passed away recently. I am going to miss my chats with Jasmin and Sandra, who are both lovely.
This nursing home is definitely 5 star plus.
The home itself is really homely and not clinical. My mum was looked after with great care, even up to her last breath. She was always
clean and tidy when I visited. They keep you informed of any health issues and incidents. The carers are all so friendly and offer you a drink as soon as you go in. I will miss my mum so much but I will also miss Hollins Park and the amazing team they are.

We both felt incredibly supported by the whole team throughout our time there and we particularly enjoyed the range on activities. If we required full time care in
future we would definitely return. Thank you to the whole team for your genuine kindness and compassion.

Our mother has been a resident at Hollins Park for nearly 2 months now. Her previous care home was unable to cope with her deteriorating dementia condition. She needed specialist nursing dementia care. We looked at several homes but weren't convinced that they would be able to cope. Fortunately, we
contacted Hollins Park and met with Jasmin the manager. We were impressed with Jas and the staff whom we met and fortunately a vacancy arose. After moving in, our mother's condition took a turn for the worse and she was extremely challenging for the home but Jas and her team went above and beyond to find solutions to continue to care for her safely. They have also helped us in applying for care funding. We really feel very fortunate that our mother is being cared for at Hollins Park. The atmosphere is calm. All the staff are patient and caring, Jasmin is particularly caring and conscientious and, as my sisters have said, is a real star.

The person that I come to visit is a dear friend who I love so much, he was in another care home which we thought was great but Long Stone Manor is on another level, what a great care home, staff are absolutely amazing, the care is on a whole new level and excellent, the entrainment they put on is fantastic
and consistent, having a little cafe, salon, bar cinema is great for the the residents as it must make them feel that they have been out on a trip. I just can't praise it enough. We have found Cranfield Grange to be of an exceptional standard in terms of care and surroundings. Mum flourished under your care, and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. All communication I had with staff over the phone and in person was dealt with promptly and sensitively.
Mum's stay was for
respite whilst her husband was recuperating, and I wouldn't hesitate to consider it if care was to be needed in the future. Everyone, staff and residents were cheerful and friendly. Thank you so much for putting our minds at rest at this difficult time.

The care provided for my mother has been sincere, positive and gracious. The humour and spirit of the staff have lifted my mother out of the gloom of dementia and into a life where she feels loved and valued again.
The difference this has made to our family has been profound. Obviously we are all sad
that my mother is gradually dying, but we are continually impressed by the gentle kindness and fun the staff can bring to the rhythm of daily life. Thank you guys I have so much respect for you. Often after my visit I cry quiet tears of gratitude for the help you are giving my mum.
You are all lovely people and me and my family are so fortunate to have you to take care of our Mum at a very challenging stage of her life. You have proven that even in the darkest times there can still be sunshine and hope. We will never forget the love you give her x

After quite an extensive search looking for a care home for a very close friend of mine, I was recommended to go and look at Longstone Manor.
The moment I entered, I was met with a very warm welcome from a member of the management team. The home was immaculately presented throughout and all the staff
were friendly and welcoming and the residents around in the reception area all seemed happy and contented.
Within minutes, I knew this was the right place for my friend to reside in and six months on my opinion hasn't changed.
All in all Longstone Manor is an excellent care home, with dedicated staff, delicious food and it is spotlessly clean. I have no hesitation in recommending this place.

My parents moved into Cranford Grange in December last year. Mum has Alzheimer's and although Dad can live independently he needs a bit of help day to day. From the day they moved into their companion suite the care and kindness they have received has been second to none. Nothing is too much trouble
and Mum and Dad are treated with such respect and dignity. The team genuinely care about all of the residents.
Cranford Grange is beautifully appointed and every member of staff cares about their surroundings. Mum and Dad are encouraged to join in with the many activities offered, but are allowed to be on their own if that is what they want. I can't thank all of the team enough, just to know that they are safe and well cared for is such a relief for me.

My parents recently came into stay at Cranford Grange. We picked the home due to being very impressed by it following visits prior to them moving in , and our good opinion of the home has only increased in past few weeks since they have been there. Staff, communication and facilities have all been

Overall I think you do very well. More music in the afternoons would be great as people with dementia do not respond to just watching tv. Sing songs or Andre Rieu dvds would be loved by most residents. There is a dead period around 2pm to 3:30 when very little goes on to keep residents occupied -
I am guessing staff are on lunch break.? Perhaps this could be staggered ? Putting Andre Rieu DVD on would be uplifting and the residents would not need too much supervision.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Deewater GrangeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your kind comments about the home overall—it really means a great deal to our team.
We truly value your suggestions regarding activities, particularly in the afternoons. Supporting meaningful engagement for people living with dementia is very important to us, and we appreciate your ideas around incorporating more music, including sing-alongs and Orchestra DVDs, which we agree can be uplifting and enjoyable for many residents.
Please be assured that we have taken your comments on board and have already put actions into place to ensure improvements are made. We are now ensuring that a care colleague is specifically allocated to support activity time during the early afternoon period, alongside our planned lifestyle activities which begin at 2pm. This is helping to reduce quieter periods and provide more consistent engagement for residents.
Your feedback is incredibly helpful in shaping our service, and we are grateful for your input. Please feel free to share any further suggestions with us at any time.

Dad arrived at Deewater in January 2026 after finally accepting that looking after himself was getting too much. We had concerns about how he would cope with this big change (different location, reduced independence etc.)......but we needn't have worried.
The Staff at Deewater are (without exception)
always friendly, professional and caring. He has settled into his new life with surprising enthusiasm. He enjoys many of the activities, has made new friends and enjoys the attention he receives from the Deewater staff.
We really never thought that he'd be playing Scrabble, taking part in quizzes, enjoying the comfortable seats in the cinema room and on first name terms with the staff.....and all within 6 weeks of arriving.
The availability of multiple lounges/coffee areas makes visiting very easy and enjoyable, as there always seems to be somewhere to sit and talk privately.
He's now looking forward to planting out some plants on his patio, to enjoy during the Summer.
Reply from Elizabeth Wilson-Lamb, Reviews Team at Deewater GrangeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review. We’re truly delighted to hear how well your dad has settled in since joining us in January. Moving into a care home is a big life transition, and it’s completely natural to have concerns, so it means a great deal to know that he has embraced this new chapter with such enthusiasm. He has very quickly become a respected part of our home and the staff take great pleasure in looking after him. It’s wonderful to hear that he is enjoying the activities, making new friendships, and feeling comfortable enough to fully engage in daily life here – from Scrabble and quizzes to relaxing in the cinema room. Creating a welcoming, supportive environment where residents feel valued and at home is exactly what we strive for, and your kind words about our team being friendly, professional, and caring will mean a lot to them. We’re also pleased that you’ve found the layout of the home helpful for visits, with plenty of spaces to relax together. Those moments with family are incredibly important, and we’re glad they’ve been made easier and more enjoyable. We hope your dad gets great pleasure from his patio planting over the summer – it sounds like something lovely to look forward to!
