Review of Cranford Grange from Sarah C (Daughter of Resident) published on 28 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I cannot recommend this amazing care home highly enough. Not only is it a comfortable and luxurious home with excellent facilities, but it is the staff who truly make it outstanding.

My father recently stayed here for a short time before sadly passing away. During his stay, we got to know some of the staff very well, and they genuinely became like family to us. They could not have been more professional, kind, supportive and helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I would particularly like to mention Sean, Emma, Prince, Lina, Jacqueline, Tracey, Alice and Ola, who was absolutely outstanding. She was so kind to my father and always managed to cheer us up whenever we saw her.

And finally, Becky, who was there with me at the end. She is a remarkable and truly wonderful lady. She showed such compassion, professionalism and kindness to both my father and me, and helped make his final moments dignified, peaceful and comfortable.

Review of Long Stone Manor from D B (Wife of Resident) published on 4 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My husband had his first experience of respite care in Long Stone Manor. Although he found the first few days hard, he settled down and used his time to relax and read. He found the carers very helpful and friendly. He really liked the food! It was good to have all his care needs met and to have his laundry done. We would love to use Long Stone Manor again.

Review of Cranford Grange from Susie W (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mother has been resident at Cranford Grange for over 7 years and in all that time I have always experienced that she receives exceptional service and care from all the staff there.
The quality of the home's facilities and the excellent catering provides all residents a very comfortable life, irrespective of their specific needs. E.g. my mother has a need for soft food and what she is given always looks and tastes as inviting as the normal menu. They make a real effort to ensure that.

As I live abroad it's not as easy to visit and follow up Mum's care and needs as much as I wiuld like, but having her as a resident at Cranford Grange has always given me total peace of mind that she is in the absolute best place she could be now.

Review of Pinetum from Clive H (Son of Resident) published on 15 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My dad Thomas who is 93 arrived at Pinetum in January following the death of his wife also in January and also 93 .Dad has been admitted to the countess with Sepsis and pneumonia but by a miracle recovered massively. Dad has been at Pinetum now for nearly 6 months and all I say is what a fabulous place with wonderful staff who do a very challenging job but always have a smile on their faces. Dad is on the 2nd floor where although his age is against him also has nothing but praise for the attentive care that he receives. It is a very modern home and really doesn't feel like a home but like a really nice hotel. The special staff on his floor always have time to put a smile on his face.We all get older and if by some chance I was lucky enough to be in Pinetum I would count myself very lucky . WELL DONE PINETUM

Review of Hollins Park from Mary D (Sister of Resident) published on 14 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Following a period of very poor health and multiple hospital admissions, my brother was moved to Hollins Park Nursing Home for the last few weeks of his life. During this time he has received excellent round the clock care with cheerful and knowledgeable staff who have been able to provide him with dignity and comfort in his final days.
I have been a daily visitor over a number of weeks and I've witnessed a consistency of care throughout my brother's stay.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Hollins Park Nursing Home

Mum moved into Hollins Park in January. We have been so impressed by the level of care from all of the carers and nursing staff. They always have a smile and will do anything they can to make the residents feel at home. There are activities organised and the Musical moments is a favourite! Jasmine the manager is always available and welcoming. My sister and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hollins Park.

Review of Pinetum from Stephen W (Son of Resident) published on 9 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
A good team is always better with a good manager, this team, every one I have met, which is quite a few of them are great, friendly, professional, caring, supportive and happy in their work.
The standards are exemplary, food quality excellent, cleanliness excellent, maintenance standards excellent, obviously nursing excellent.
Nursing staff are really caring, listen and act on issues that will obviously arise when people like my 92 year old mother's health deteriorates.
The medical practice that looks after the residents have so far been perfect, my mother's pain came from nothing two months ago to horrendous in the hospital, now under complete control.
I have no issues whatsoever recommending this nursing home for anyone who has a relative needing it. I really hope that you never need it but if you do it's the best.
Oh, the chefs are great, the food is good and can be adjusted to suit your relatives needs.
They all try really hard to make everyone as happy as possible.

Thanks x

There are not enough words to thank every single member of staff for the care of my grandad. They have become family over the past 6months. Not only to grandad but to us as family, the emotional support, endless coffee and cake and meals. The genuine care when we needed it was shown by every single person and there is genuine support when you need it. Thank you is simply not enough.

Review of Cranford Grange from Steve G (Son of Resident) published on 2 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Mum moved into Cranford Grange when she lost her partner in February. Unfortunately, she had a major stroke in early March and passed away in May but despite that difficult end to mum's long and happy life, the care she received was nothing short of outstanding, ensuring she had dignity and peace. The surroundings are simply beautiful for the residents and a pleasure to visit for the families but it is the love, care and friendliness of the staff that is the highlight. The whole team should be proud of the peace of mind you gave to me and my family, knowing that mum was in the best of hands as well as the support we received from you, especially in the final days. I would unreservedly recommend it for anyone wishing for the best for their loved ones.

Unfortunately my mum passed away recently. I am going to miss my chats with Jasmin and Sandra, who are both lovely.
This nursing home is definitely 5 star plus.

The home itself is really homely and not clinical. My mum was looked after with great care, even up to her last breath. She was always clean and tidy when I visited. They keep you informed of any health issues and incidents. The carers are all so friendly and offer you a drink as soon as you go in. I will miss my mum so much but I will also miss Hollins Park and the amazing team they are.

My husband went into Cranford for respite over the Christmas period. The whole experience for both us was wonderful from start to finish. We both felt incredibly supported by the whole team throughout our time there and we particularly enjoyed the range on activities. If we required full time care in future we would definitely return. Review of Hollins Park from Neil M (Son of Resident) published on 30 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Our mother has been a resident at Hollins Park for nearly 2 months now. Her previous care home was unable to cope with her deteriorating dementia condition. She needed specialist nursing dementia care. We looked at several homes but weren't convinced that they would be able to cope. Fortunately, we contacted Hollins Park and met with Jasmin the manager. We were impressed with Jas and the staff whom we met and fortunately a vacancy arose. After moving in, our mother's condition took a turn for the worse and she was extremely challenging for the home but Jas and her team went above and beyond to find solutions to continue to care for her safely. They have also helped us in applying for care funding. We really feel very fortunate that our mother is being cared for at Hollins Park. The atmosphere is calm. All the staff are patient and caring, Jasmin is particularly caring and conscientious and, as my sisters have said, is a real star.

The person that I come to visit is a dear friend who I love so much, he was in another care home which we thought was great but Long Stone Manor is on another level, what a great care home, staff are absolutely amazing, the care is on a whole new level and excellent, the entrainment they put on is fantastic and consistent, having a little cafe, salon, bar cinema is great for the the residents as it must make them feel that they have been out on a trip. We have found Cranfield Grange to be of an exceptional standard in terms of care and surroundings. Mum flourished under your care, and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. All communication I had with staff over the phone and in person was dealt with promptly and sensitively.

Mum's stay was for respite whilst her husband was recuperating, and I wouldn't hesitate to consider it if care was to be needed in the future. Everyone, staff and residents were cheerful and friendly. Thank you so much for putting our minds at rest at this difficult time.

Review of Pinetum from Matthew M (Son of Resident) published on 24 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
The care provided for my mother has been sincere, positive and gracious. The humour and spirit of the staff have lifted my mother out of the gloom of dementia and into a life where she feels loved and valued again.
The difference this has made to our family has been profound. Obviously we are all sad that my mother is gradually dying, but we are continually impressed by the gentle kindness and fun the staff can bring to the rhythm of daily life. Thank you guys I have so much respect for you. Often after my visit I cry quiet tears of gratitude for the help you are giving my mum.

You are all lovely people and me and my family are so fortunate to have you to take care of our Mum at a very challenging stage of her life. You have proven that even in the darkest times there can still be sunshine and hope. We will never forget the love you give her x

Review of Long Stone Manor from Robert R (Friend of Resident) published on 22 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
After quite an extensive search looking for a care home for a very close friend of mine, I was recommended to go and look at Longstone Manor.
The moment I entered, I was met with a very warm welcome from a member of the management team. The home was immaculately presented throughout and all the staff were friendly and welcoming and the residents around in the reception area all seemed happy and contented.
Within minutes, I knew this was the right place for my friend to reside in and six months on my opinion hasn't changed.

All in all Longstone Manor is an excellent care home, with dedicated staff, delicious food and it is spotlessly clean. I have no hesitation in recommending this place.

Overall Experience
My parents moved into Cranford Grange in December last year. Mum has Alzheimer's and although Dad can live independently he needs a bit of help day to day. From the day they moved into their companion suite the care and kindness they have received has been second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and Mum and Dad are treated with such respect and dignity. The team genuinely care about all of the residents.

Cranford Grange is beautifully appointed and every member of staff cares about their surroundings. Mum and Dad are encouraged to join in with the many activities offered, but are allowed to be on their own if that is what they want. I can't thank all of the team enough, just to know that they are safe and well cared for is such a relief for me.
