My mum stayed at Milner house for a short time & was unfortunately end of life care, the staff were so caring & understanding of her needs & also very respectfull of my needs.
Nothing was too much trouble for the care staff and I was made to feel welcome & at ease every single day, I was even offered
meals & drinks so I could stay with my mum throughout the day.
The home is in a beautiful setting & staff regularly encourage service users to enjoy the amazing outside areas.
My only wish is that I had found Milner house sooner so my mum could have really enjoyed the surroundings and caring, friendly staff team. I would highly recommend Milner house

We moved my mum to this care home from another just over a week ago. The difference is incredible and we have total peace of mind knowing and seeing how well she is cared for and looked after. Right from our initial enquiry we were pleased with the responses and care taken getting to know my mums needs.
Moving
in was seamless with so much attention paid to welcoming mum ( her favourite coloured flowers in her room), discussing all her medical needs and even private dining lunch for us.
Every time we visit we are greeted by everybody we see and the warmth of the home is palpable, it feels like everyone wants to be there.
Finding the right care home has been a difficult process for us and they are not all the same but we are delighted with everything so far and recommend it highly. Thank you to all the lovely staff who have made it possible for me to dare ask my mum if she is happy, and for her to answer yes!

My mother has been a resident of Norfolk House for the past 18 months. Over that time, her health has improved, and the level of care and stimulation has been much higher than when she lived in her own house. I am impressed with how attentive the care staff and nurses are to her medical needs. I no
longer have to worry about her as I know she is getting the best support possible. Thank you to all the staff who contribute to her care.

We were so worried about moving mum into a home but she has settled into Broadwater Lodge and is surrounded by love and caring wonderful people. Angie and her amazing team go above and beyond to look after their residents needs, they are an exceptional team, and we never have to worry about mum. I love
going to see mum as it is such a warm, friendly and homely place, so much so mum has asked me to move in a couple of times, she says I would love it, that says it all! Mum joins in with the activities that Nic and Doreen put on which are so much fun, there is always something going on. Mum loves the farm animals, hair salon and having her nails done, and she joins in with the dancing and singing, they have some amazing entertainers going in regularly, and mum can relax and be herself. It's 10 out of 10 from me!

My father started living at Echelford January 2025, we cannot thank the staff enough , they made him so welcome and family to
Everyone goes above and beyond you really get a sense of being part of a big family there.
Dad has settled so well they meet everybody's needs individually, there are so
many activities for them to do , always music which my Dad loves, staff even when very busy always have time for you .
There is always a happy friendly atmosphere, the place is spotlessly clean and residence are always very clean and well dressed .Although you never think your Dad is going to end up in a home , I think he is extremely lucky to be cared for at Echelford we wouldn't want him to be anywhere else Thank You everyone at Echelford

My grandmother has been at this care home for the past year. Although she was initially reluctant to move into such a facility, she's since been humbled by the warmth, compassion, and professionalism shown by the management, support staff, and activity teams. The sense of community and care has made
her feel like part of a family. I'm able to visit freely and am always welcomed with open arms. Knowing this is where she'll spend the remainder of her life isn't easy-but I feel reassured, grateful, and humbled that she's in such a safe, respectful, and well-cared-for environment.

Dad has been at Greenview for nearly six months. He has Alzheimer's and is on their memory ward. It was a difficult decision moving dad but I now know he is being looked after. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. The nursing staff are very attentive and caring and have lots of patience with dad.
They also have time to chat to me when I have questions or concerns. His room is lovely as are all the facilities at Greenview and I'm glad we chose it for dad.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the place for my 91-year-old mother-in-law for respite whilst we were away. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We were nervous about leaving her there, but she settled in well under the watchful eye of the manager (she is amazing!). She even sent
me an email to let us know how she was getting on. We are so pleased with the care she got that we will put her there when we go away in September.

My Mum moved to Appleby House Care Home in April 2025. She has Alzheimer's and Mixed Dementia. All of the care staff have been so welcoming, they are so friendly and helpful. The manager and Assistant Manager have been amazing. One of the really encouraging things for me is how long some of the team
have worked there. Some have been there 20 years plus. I visit almost every day and so can see that the care home is very well managed. Mum isn't the most sociable of people, and so prefers to stay in her room, which is happily accommodated. It's very easy to see why this care home is rated outstanding.

I have been so impressed with how my uncle has been looked after by all at the Home.
He came in for respite and was in a very sad place.
When he had the opportunity to become a permanent resident we were so pleased he chose to stay.
He has gone from a frail 94 year old who was not eating, always
in bed and did not communicate. To the smiling, chatty and laughing uncle we all knew.
This is a testament to the patience, knowledge, kindness and charisma of all who work with him.
This has saved his life and completely taken our worries away.
I can not thank you all enough.

I can honestly say Mum has settled into Tiltwood so well. We were very dubious about a care home setting but it was the best thing for her. She has gone up a dress size and is eating so much better now. The friendliness and care of the staff is outstanding. They are so caring and demonstrative which
Mum is thriving on. The staff throw themselves into planned activities and they have regular family meetings with opportunities to give feedback. Rooms are a little dated but the care is outstanding and that's what matters most. All residents seem happy and it's run like a family environment, which is lovely. They go the extra mile when we take her out they help her dress appropriately and want her to look her best. There is a hairdresser every week and chiropodist that visits. They genuinely care about the residents and it shines through. Mum says they are all lovely and she is very happy. What more could we want.
