Dad moved to Amherst House in September after living independently on his own for several years. It was a quick decision to move, and it took Dad a while to settle into this new way of life.
Everyone on the team, from care staff, support workers, chef and management have worked to resolve any issues
or concerns raised, and Dad is now settled, happier and starting to enjoy this new phase of life.

Milner House

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum has been a resident of Milner House Care home for approximately three and a half years. We have seen a number of changes of personnel in that time. Milner House is a beautiful home very warm, cosy and well maintained. The staff are lovely and friendly they treat us all with kindness and generosity,
we are asked every time we visit if we would like beverages and meals. Mum is thriving aside from her advanced dementia she is very well, healthy and well looked after. Her room is a lovely size with ensuite facilities it has just been redecorated with the addition of a new carpet and curtains it is fresh and bright. Mum loves all of the activities on offer in the time that she has been a resident she has enjoyed trips to garden centres, the local pub, Denbies Winery and Brighton for a fish and chip lunch. The cleaners are very evident and keep the home lovely and clean and smelling fresh.

My ex step Mother passed away peacefully on Friday 12th December. She was 96 years old and had two carers with her. She had been in Stanecroft for over 4 years. ALL the staff have been fantastic. This goes from the kitchen staff, cleaners, handyman, carers. Accounts department and the management. I
would recommend this care home to anyone. On top of the usual day/ night care they have an activities every day. Trips out. Even an in house hair dresser. A Big Thank you

Liberham Lodge

from Chris C (Son of Resident) published on 12 December 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Liberham Lodge has been excellent. My father had a month's respite care in LL whilst I was away on holiday as my mum wouldn't have been able to manage in an emergency.

A few months later, unfortunately my Dad had to go in permanently - but LL was full. We moved my dad into another home but it wasn't

satisfactory - the care did not feel up to standard. I worked with Christine from LL over a few weeks - and as soon as there was a space free she let me know and we moved my Dad.

I have been really happy with the care at LL - my Dad has Alzeimers and medical needs - and there are so many staff caring for him, it is excellent. The food is good, and they have a bar and cafe - and it is really welcoming.

My Dad has had issues, and they have called ambulances, checked on him in hospital and facilitated his release as soon as possible as the home is much better for him than hospital.

Everyone is great, bit I must highlight Marian, James, Christine & Chris. All lovely!

Reply from Christine Mintrim, Reviews Team at Liberham LodgeThank you so very much for such a wonderful review, we really do appreciate the time it takes for people to write these, and also are so pleased to know liberham lodge is fulfilling all of Dads needs

My Mum has resided at Stanecroft for the last 3 years and sadly this week passed away.
I can honestly say that they have provided my Mum with the utmost care and support during her time with them and in the past few weeks leading up to her passing have shown nothing but respect and love to not just
her but to us, her family.
We will miss the whole team that Emma successfully leads and our heartfelt gratitude to the carers who go above and beyond looking after the residents.

The home is very family oriented. They have some excellent staff with some going that extra mile. The home is clean and the receptionists welcoming to all visitors. An area for improvement would be communication.
But all in all a recommended home if you need a family feel for your loved ones.

Mum, Hazel, moved to Kingsleigh in February 2024. She settled in very quickly and, as much as she can, has enjoyed the life, the company and the warm environment. What stands out for me and my family when we have visited mum is the utter professionalism and positivity of the staff. I find their approach
to dealing with residents awe-inspiring. Never have I heard anything sarcastic or patronising being aimed at a resident. And this despite what I imagine cannot always be easy situations. Sure, Kingsleigh is looking a bit tired but that really doesn't matter when the atmosphere is so good

Everything seems ok , mum seems ok, difficult to know when she can't hear me and I have to shout all the time , even though she says she is charging her hearing aids,
She's a little bit confused about days but considering her age , that's not bad at all. She doesn't seem to want to join in with any
thing any more, again her age. However , all the staff seem to know this and try to encourage her but leave her if she's adamant that she's ok where she is.
She seems a bit reluctant to ask anyone for anything and likes to wash herself, rather than being helped but salary from that she seems ok and knows that she is having soft food for her choking, even though she knows she needs it

Although our Mother has only been at Greenview just over 2 weeks we can already rest assured that she is being wonderfully cared for. The staff are treated right by the management which in turn makes the staff effective and happy in their work. So far anything we have raised/asked for has happened almost
immediately. I believe due to all of the staff being trained and monitored on their tasks that this is the reason for the high standard of care at Greenview. We are truly grateful for finding Greenview Hall which has already helped our Mother so much and we look forward to them hopefully being able to progress her further.

Jubilee House

Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father in law has been in the wonderful care of the team at Jubilee House for 6 months and it has quite simply been an incredible transformation in his quality of life. The standards and variety of care, empathy and putting the resident first are clearly evident in the way he now engages back with
life that was sadly slipping away fast before he moved in. From the nurses, to the carers to the activity coordinators and all the suport teams, everyone always has a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble. People often refer to something as being "the best decision we ever made" , well we are in no doubt that this is definitely that.
Words can't describe how grateful we are to the Team at Jubilee House for having welcomed my father in law and us into their family, we are eternally grateful.

They try to provide different things to stimulate the people in the care home by way of having performers and functions in the home. The home always looks clean. Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
After decades of living with dementia Mum has been bedbound since Covid but is cared for with dignity and respect. The staff are friendly and professional and her comfort and environment are constantly checked and evaluated so her slow decline is managed without distress. Huge thanks to everyone.
