Echelforde Care Home is a very special place , you never think your father will end up in a dementia home, but when he did we didn't know what to expect, the whole team from the Manager to all carers, activity staff cleaning staff laundry staff office staff maintenance man, kitchen staff , hairdresser
(sorry if I have left anyone out.)all go above and beyond , you actually feel part of a big family they are so caring they treat Dad like we would he has settled in very well there. The activities and
entertainment are great so much going on , and we are always welcome to join in with Dad , if Dad has any health problems they are always quick to keep us informed. The home is always spotlessly clean , and the residents are always well dressed and clean aswell
Thank you everyone at Echelforde you are amazing.

Menu could do with more basic choices sometimes seems a little strange.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Greenview Hall

Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding Greenview Hall.We pride ourselves in providing a diverse menu of high-quality meals for all residents to enjoy, this menu is formulated using residents' choice and is reviewed quarterly during designated dining meetings. Alongside our daily menu, we also have an alternative menu in place which residents can choose from. Nevertheless, our Chef would always be happy to arrange alternative provisions for residents if they were unable to find meals on the menus that they like.Furthermore, the Home Manager is always glad to assist with implementing more permanent changes into the menu following feedback from residents and their loved ones.Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback regarding Greenview Hall. Your input is greatly appreciated.

A Truly Special Place - Thank You for Caring for Our Grandmother
From the moment our family walked through the doors of Greenview Hall, we knew our grandmother was in the right place. It's difficult to put into words the peace of mind and comfort we've felt since she moved in, but it all comes down
to one simple truth: the people who work here genuinely care.
The kindness of the staff shines through in everything they do. Whether it's a gentle conversation, a warm smile, or taking the extra time to make sure she feels heard and valued, their compassion is evident every single day. They treat her not just as a resident, but as part of a big, extended family - and that means the world to us.
The activities offered are another standout. There is such a thoughtful variety - from music and crafts to games, gentle exercise, and even outings - that there's truly something for everyone. It's been such a joy to see our grandmother re-engaging with hobbies she loved and even trying new things.
Reply from Kim Wyllie, Reviews Team at Greenview Hall

Thank you for taking the time to do this review, we appreciate your feedback.
We are so pleased your Grandmother has settle well into Greenview Hall, and is enjoying doing activities, especially re-engaging with hobbies she did before and loved.
Kind Regards,
Kim

The dignity and respect that the staff at Stanecroft show towards our Mum is wonderful!! It makes us smile to see her so happy and settled into her new home and way of life. It was such a big change for her and us as a family, but made so much easier and so personal by the kindness, care and support
from all of the staff. We are always greeted with happy smiling faces and with positivity and understanding. It is a very inclusive environment with so much going on for the residents and time for them to enjoy activities and social gatherings in a safe and supportive way. Everybody is very approachable and so lovely to be able to visit our mum, at any time. When we have made requests, they are actioned very promptly and always feel the door is open for us. We feel our mum is being taken very good care of. Thank you to all the staff that make this happen.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum stayed at Milner house for a short time & was unfortunately end of life care, the staff were so caring & understanding of her needs & also very respectfull of my needs.
Nothing was too much trouble for the care staff and I was made to feel welcome & at ease every single day, I was even offered
meals & drinks so I could stay with my mum throughout the day.
The home is in a beautiful setting & staff regularly encourage service users to enjoy the amazing outside areas.
My only wish is that I had found Milner house sooner so my mum could have really enjoyed the surroundings and caring, friendly staff team. I would highly recommend Milner house

We moved my mum to this care home from another just over a week ago. The difference is incredible and we have total peace of mind knowing and seeing how well she is cared for and looked after. Right from our initial enquiry we were pleased with the responses and care taken getting to know my mums needs.
Moving
in was seamless with so much attention paid to welcoming mum ( her favourite coloured flowers in her room), discussing all her medical needs and even private dining lunch for us.
Every time we visit we are greeted by everybody we see and the warmth of the home is palpable, it feels like everyone wants to be there.
Finding the right care home has been a difficult process for us and they are not all the same but we are delighted with everything so far and recommend it highly. Thank you to all the lovely staff who have made it possible for me to dare ask my mum if she is happy, and for her to answer yes!

My mother has been a resident of Norfolk House for the past 18 months. Over that time, her health has improved, and the level of care and stimulation has been much higher than when she lived in her own house. I am impressed with how attentive the care staff and nurses are to her medical needs. I no
longer have to worry about her as I know she is getting the best support possible. Thank you to all the staff who contribute to her care.

We were so worried about moving mum into a home but she has settled into Broadwater Lodge and is surrounded by love and caring wonderful people. Angie and her amazing team go above and beyond to look after their residents needs, they are an exceptional team, and we never have to worry about mum. I love
going to see mum as it is such a warm, friendly and homely place, so much so mum has asked me to move in a couple of times, she says I would love it, that says it all! Mum joins in with the activities that Nic and Doreen put on which are so much fun, there is always something going on. Mum loves the farm animals, hair salon and having her nails done, and she joins in with the dancing and singing, they have some amazing entertainers going in regularly, and mum can relax and be herself. It's 10 out of 10 from me!

My grandmother has been at this care home for the past year. Although she was initially reluctant to move into such a facility, she's since been humbled by the warmth, compassion, and professionalism shown by the management, support staff, and activity teams. The sense of community and care has made
her feel like part of a family. I'm able to visit freely and am always welcomed with open arms. Knowing this is where she'll spend the remainder of her life isn't easy-but I feel reassured, grateful, and humbled that she's in such a safe, respectful, and well-cared-for environment.
