Thank you to the staff for your care, not always an easy job to do but rewarding. They had a very good local GP and Health support staff who regularly visited and as I was living far away always updated me on health conditions.

Kingsleigh Care Home has been a wonderful place for my sister-in-law. From the moment she moved in, we've seen such a positive change in her well-being. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about each resident as an individual.
We've been impressed by the activities and social opportunities they offer-there's always something going on to keep residents engaged and connected. The communication with families is also excellent; we always feel informed and involved.
Most importantly, my sister-in-law feels safe, respected, and happy. We're truly grateful to everyone at Kingsleigh for the dignity and kindness they show every day.

I started my career as a care assistant and moved my way up the ranks. I joined Care UK in 2006 and was the deputy manager at Broadwater Lodge, another Care UK home, for seven years before moving to Kingsleigh.
I would describe myself as a people person with a passion for helping others. One of my favourite parts of the day is when everyone stops for ‘tea at 3’. It’s a chance to catch our breath after the busiest part of the day, and it gives us the opportunity to have some quality conversation time with residents.
I’ve been supported by other home managers to progress in my career, and I believe in doing the same now I’m at that level. Being able to help and develop colleagues is a great feeling, as is empowering them to make a difference in residents’ lives.
