Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My Mum has been at Tall Trees for almost a year now and I am very happy with her care. They are all very caring and supportive of me as well as Mum. Her behaviours were difficult for many months and the carers were wonderful. It was reassuring that they kept in regular contact with me about how Mum
was doing and engaged other organisations to support her and my family. During this challenging time, they still tried to involve Mum in activities and brought her into the room when events were taking place. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. The food is great and the residents are treated with respect and I would say love. Even when Mum is not on best form I still enjoy my visit. Mum is very settled now, in many ways due to the support and care she had been given. Thank you.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My husband came to live at Bailey Lodge on the 19th February this year, He was in another care home for two years but when Bailey Lodge was completed it made sense to have him nearer to me as I live in Saffron Walden. He suffers from Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia. I was concerned that moving him
from one care home to another might be detrimental but the Manager of Bailey Lodge assured me that with their care he would settle in and he proved to be right. The carers are taking time to get to know him and understand his needs and because of their excellent care he has changed over the past weeks. He is talking more, he's happier, he enjoys the activities and certainly loves the delicious food. I have not seen him look so well for some time. Bailey Lodge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, not only for the residents but for the families too. The care is exceptional and I would recommend Bailey Lodge to all those who are seeking a safe haven for their loved ones.

Overall since my sister in law first came into Colne View in August last year, she has been extremely well looked after at the care home. A very complex personality to deal with, all the staff associated with her have been excellent. We enjoy visiting the centre and are made very welcome by all the
staff. It is such a massive relief for her family to know that she is safe, secure and being so well looked after. Thank you!

Colne View is a modern care home with amazing facilities, including cinema room, hairdressers, library, coffee lounge, small shop etc, but what really makes it so special is the care and warmth shown by all of the staff! To the residents and their families, making it a lovely place to visit. My sister
has a few issues both mentally and physically, but the staff are very understanding and try really hard to accommodate her. We as her family now have peace of mind knowing help is always on hand.

I came to Colne View for 1 or 2 weeks, following knee surgery. I could not have coped at home on my own, despite having good neighbours & lots of friends. My stay has been excellent! Staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. Food was good and varied. Going home tomorrow, with certain amount of
trepadation and concern about my old cottage with its tight steep stairs, sofabed & loo at the ready.

We have had contact with Silversprings Thorrington for some years and just recently my husband has received 4 weeks respite care there. The building which is surrounded by a large outdoor mainly green area, has two comfortable lounge areas and a separate eating area. The rooms are well equipped and
spacious. I cannot praise the staff highly enough; they are all very caring, supportive and well aware of both residents and families needs and feelings. They also always appear content and happy in their chosen roles there. The residents are well cared for, content and happy - there are daily activities and many visiting entertainers. Trips out to various places are also taken in the home minibus.

My father spent the last month of his life at Manor Lodge Care Home. The care provided by the staff was truly wonderful - he could not have been in a better place, with kinder people, for his final days.
Every member of the team cared not only for my dad but also for us as a family. They made sure
we were looked after, keeping us fed, bringing us cups of tea, providing a bed so we could stay with him, and gently checking in on us while we sat by his side. His final goodbye from the care home was incredibly touching and meant so much to us. All the staff who were able to stood in respect as we left the building, forming a guard of honour. It was such a thoughtful and moving gesture. We cannot thank the team at Manor Lodge Care Home enough for the compassion, dignity, and kindness they showed to our dad and to our whole family. It meant more to us than words can express.
