My friend is receiving very good care at Tall Trees. Care is excellent. Getting let in on arrival to visit could be improved however, but once inside its a very well run care home. Keep up the good work.

I am delighted with Bailey Lodge - Mum has now settled in well and her room and outlook is lovely.
Food is excellent and the staff are caring and sympathetic to Mum's needs.
They were particularly helpful when Mum was ill with a chest infection.

I have had experience of several care homes, albeit out of area, and nothing compares with BL.
Staff superb, friendly and helpful and so welcoming.
Beautiful surroundings, lovely gardens (love the cafe - scones amazing).
Well done!

Our dear sister Barbara has been living at Tall Trees Colchester for just over two years. She had a very unpleasant experience before moving there, but I have to say her state of mind, her eating and drinking and her personal hygiene has totally changed. It's obvious that Barbara really enjoys living
at Tall Trees and above all loves the constant attention and dare I say the love she is given from the management and carers, could not be improved.
There are plenty of daily activities which Barbara happily takes part in, mini bus trips to garden centres, the sea side and other places of interest and sensory interest, and cups of tea, cake and fish n chips are included. The residents all appear to get along with each other and their carers and a sense of unity truly exists between residents and carers.
My sister is always spoken to with affection and I would recommend Tall Trees Care to all concerned families who need to pass on the wellbeing and responsibility of their loved ones.

Also when we visit the cafe and bar areas are perfect for feeling like we're out out!

We reviewed many local options before selecting Bailey Lodge for a week of respite care for my Mother. The stay was hugely successful and Mum is now keen to return. We found that Mum's anxiety associated with day to day challenges completely evaporated while she was with Baily Lodge allowing her freedom
to enjoy herself.

On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to give thanks to EVERYONE who provided my Mum with such outstanding love and care recently in the Nursing Unit. Although she only spent 5 days at Manor Lodge (have been transferred from Broomfields on a 'fast track' pathway, under the care of Farley Hospice)
we could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone she / we met, treated her with kindness, dignity and made sure that she was comfortable (and pain free) in her final days - truly, we could not have asked for anything more.

My mum has been a resident at Silversprings in Thorrington, Essex, for several years. She has vascular dementia and, throughout her time there, has received excellent specialist care.
On 22 March this year, Mum celebrated her 100th birthday-an incredible achievement. The staff at Silversprings truly
went the extra mile to make it a special day. As well as providing a private room for family and friends to celebrate together, they decorated it with banners and balloons. The chefs prepared a lovely buffet, including options for those with specific dietary requirements. One member of staff even made Mum a beautiful birthday cake, while another bought her a lovely dress.
We all had a wonderful time, and I can't thank the staff and management enough for making such a momentous occasion even more special.
Reply from Lisa Sadler, Reviews Team at SilverspringsThank you so much for your kind words. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and creating meaningful moments for our residents, and your feedback will be shared with all the staff involved. Thank you again for taking the time to write such a lovely message.

The staff at Silversprings have been truly amazing. Kind, tactile, very affectionate and professional. My family friend had the best care she could have ever had. Always clean, well fed and had constant company. She was never alone in her last days + hours. Every single member of staff and management
know every detail and communication was beyond exceptional.

My Mum has been at Tall Trees for almost a year now and I am very happy with her care. They are all very caring and supportive of me as well as Mum. Her behaviours were difficult for many months and the carers were wonderful. It was reassuring that they kept in regular contact with me about how Mum
was doing and engaged other organisations to support her and my family. During this challenging time, they still tried to involve Mum in activities and brought her into the room when events were taking place. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. The food is great and the residents are treated with respect and I would say love. Even when Mum is not on best form I still enjoy my visit. Mum is very settled now, in many ways due to the support and care she had been given. Thank you.

My husband came to live at Bailey Lodge on the 19th February this year, He was in another care home for two years but when Bailey Lodge was completed it made sense to have him nearer to me as I live in Saffron Walden. He suffers from Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia. I was concerned that moving him
from one care home to another might be detrimental but the Manager of Bailey Lodge assured me that with their care he would settle in and he proved to be right. The carers are taking time to get to know him and understand his needs and because of their excellent care he has changed over the past weeks. He is talking more, he's happier, he enjoys the activities and certainly loves the delicious food. I have not seen him look so well for some time. Bailey Lodge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, not only for the residents but for the families too. The care is exceptional and I would recommend Bailey Lodge to all those who are seeking a safe haven for their loved ones.

Overall since my sister in law first came into Colne View in August last year, she has been extremely well looked after at the care home. A very complex personality to deal with, all the staff associated with her have been excellent. We enjoy visiting the centre and are made very welcome by all the
staff. It is such a massive relief for her family to know that she is safe, secure and being so well looked after. Thank you!

Colne View is a modern care home with amazing facilities, including cinema room, hairdressers, library, coffee lounge, small shop etc, but what really makes it so special is the care and warmth shown by all of the staff! To the residents and their families, making it a lovely place to visit. My sister
has a few issues both mentally and physically, but the staff are very understanding and try really hard to accommodate her. We as her family now have peace of mind knowing help is always on hand.

I came to Colne View for 1 or 2 weeks, following knee surgery. I could not have coped at home on my own, despite having good neighbours & lots of friends. My stay has been excellent! Staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. Food was good and varied. Going home tomorrow, with certain amount of
trepadation and concern about my old cottage with its tight steep stairs, sofabed & loo at the ready.
Reply from Kim Richardson, Reviews Team at Colne ViewThank you so much for your lovely review.
