The staff are friendly and always seem to be talking or helping the residents. Nothing is to much trouble. From the time you enter Bickerton House it has a warm, welcoming feel. Numerous activities take place every day it seems. lots of different areas to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee (and a cake) A clean, well laid out care home.

ever since mum moved in here the staff have been brilliant- very caring and considerate and feeding her well - i would recommend Larklands house to anyone wanting good care for their loved ones. All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms which are always very clean as are the bedrooms. the dining room too is well staffed and clean and the food is always freshly cooked.

Had a really good time on the communal day, my nan enjoyed the entertainment, food and the company of other visitors. Some staff are genuine.

This is a very comforting home for my mum to be in. Every single person employed is always kind & courteous. Mum is known by name & everyone says hello. Nothing seems too much trouble and if we ever need to ask a question or have a query someone is always available. It is a happy, well-managed home and I am so grateful to have found it.

We all feel as a family that Mum is very well cared for. All staff are very friendly and supportive. Even when Mum can have her difficult moments they handle her very nicely. They have a good choice of food and plenty of cake.

Bozena your team are a credit to you as you are to them , and I'm sure that your style of leadership , which I saw in all its facets at the recent residents meeting , the 'open door' policy for staff and families , your passion and loyalty , endless energy, compassion , will continue as you grow in the role and uphold the Care UK values .

Reassuring to know my Father is being looked after and cared for in a professional way. Staff are supportive, caring and attentive. Nothing is too much. Larkland's activities are varied and engaging, although Father does not want to join in and is not forced either. Compliments to the Chef, the team and the delicious menus. Overall, if my Father is comfortable and happy, so am I. As a family, we visit often and at different times of the day. We are pleased with the care Father receives and the welcome we get. Important we see teamwork and communication and both are evident.

The management and admin staff are always welcoming and supportive. Newbury Grove is a beautiful and well cared for home.

I am well and being looked after nicely. I attend most activities, that I enjoy.

A fantastic Care Home. The residents are looked after by wonderful staff who are so patient and caring. The home is lovely and bright and modern and you are made to feel at home from the time you arrive. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable with good en-suite facilities. The meals are of an exceptionally high standard with plenty of choices. My husband settled in very well from the first day he arrived and all the staff look after him so well. He is really happy there. If I need extra care at sone time in the future, this is where I would want to be.

they take good care of my grandad and the workers are very kind. i've been visiting my grandad since he started to come here and they treat him very well and treat the visitors very well and keeps the family updated and reassured.

The staff are excellent and have helped my Dad to settle in. They have helped us also to deal with the transition and what to prepare for to support Dad. All staff members have made an effort to get to know Dad, our family and give us regular feedback.

The staff are absolutely amazing they all have taken the time to get to know my father-in -law and have helped him with the transition moving into OakHouse. All members of staff have taken the time also to get to know us as a family and kept us updated on how he's settling in. Nothing is too much trouble and B the Manger is always approachable if we need to discuss anything. It feels like home from home and everyone works together as a team for this to happen.

Larkland is a 'home from home' as I was unable to care for my husband who has mixed dementia & partial sight. I visit every day & am happy with his care especially as he can be difficult at times. Some carers are very young & in experienced so the long hours are tiring, therefore, perhaps more time should be spent talking to residents' in slacker times during the day.

The carers give him so much support.

Today the care team are taking dad on an organised trip to see a local team play football

All in all, my husband had a great stay.
