Cavell Court is a wonderful care home. My dad went there from hospital as he was extremely unwell and unable to go home. He was there for 10 months in which time the care and compassion and friendship he received was incredible. Dad was VERY reluctant to be there when he first went in, wouldn't take
medication etc but through the patience and kindness they won his trust resulting in him being able to go home and live with his partner again.
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, they run the home to make it feel like one big happy family. We as a family are forever grateful to Cavell Court, they got me my dad back from a very bad place he was in mentally and physically through care and understanding.

My sister is really happy in her environment. There is always plenty to do and many treats along the way. The staff are all very friendly and react kindly to all residents, without exception. A very caring staff.
The Entertainments Manager always seems to have great ideas, that keep the residents,
engaged and proactive, which is so good for their mental health and well-being. The Home is well managed and although there may be a few hiccoughs now and again, as is always in a large community, these are rapidly solved with the meetings that are regularly held with family members and staff.
All in all, a fun place to be. Well done.

As my mother reached the end of her amazing, one-hundred year life, the staff treated her (and myself) with kindness and respect which I'm sure was some comfort to her in her last hours. It was clear how much they all cared for her at that time and again when they came outside to pay their respects
as she made her last journey to the crematorium. I am deeply grateful to them all for looking after her for more than two years prior to that too.

My wife was in respite care for three weeks at Cavell Court and was looked after extremely well. There was so many activities to join in with. The staff are very professional very well trained and looked after my wife's needs at all times. The food is also very good with different selection every day.The
gardens are lovely to walk round with some beautiful flowers. All of the staff at Cavell Court are very polite with very good communication skills and always available when my wife needed anything. There was no problems whilst my wife was in care and she was looked after with dignity and patience.Overall I would say that this is the best care home we have ever come across and would recommend the home to anyone with whatever there needs are.The standards at Cavell Court are second to none and everything is taken care of to put you at ease.

My mother has been a resident at Heath Lodge since 1st June 2023. It is an extremely difficult and emotional time when one acknowledges that this is a decision one has to make for a much-loved parent. My mother is as happy as she can be under the circumstances. The whole team are so caring and understanding
at Heath Lodge and in my opinion they go the extra mile to do all they can to make their guests feel as much 'at home' as possible.

My wife's move to Heath Lodge from another care home, who didn't have the skills level to look after her safely, went smoothly. The staff were extremely welcoming and she settled in quickly.
She requires assistance with nearly all aspects of her daily care. The staff are consistently kind, attentive,
and considerate of her needs, especially as she is often only able to communicate non-verbally. They take time to understand her and respond with patience and compassion.
Her 14-page care plan is detailed, regularly updated and reviewed monthly.
Whenever she is moved by hoist, staff carefully explain what is going to happen and carry this out with patience and reassurance. Her personal care is always delivered with dignity and respect.
The carers also make an effort to involve her in activities which she is often happy simply to watch,
This caring and professional approach starts with the manager and is reflected across the entire team. It is something they should all be proud of.

All very good. My Father is being treated with respect and kindness. The activities are extremely good and help to stimulate him. He is very fond of gardening and the outside areas are really well maintained. Food and staff are excellent and he is enjoying his time in the Care Home.

My mum has been a residence at Broadlands Lodge for over three years. She loves it there, and is very popular with her friends and the staff.
I did a lot of research and visits to care homes before I decided on Broadlands Lodge, and I have never regretted that decision. The facilities are excellent,
the care faultless, the staff compassionate and friendly. I highly recommend every aspect of the care home

I visited several Care Homes before visiting Cavell. Sam met me on my visit, showed me around, explained things and answered my many questions. I already knew because it felt right. Like walking into someone's home and feeling so welcome. Cavell staff gave us the chance to become a family again and
not just dad's carer's. They where kind, thoughtful, patient, calm, kind and dad felt loved. He was never lonley. He was entertained. He made new friends. He loved the food and we often got him downstairs to the cafe', where there was always cake! My dad was treated with respect and although he had his moments of frustration the staff understood and were always very forgiving. Cavell always kept me informed of things I needed to know and, at the end of dad's life, they were so supportive of me and my mum.
Cavell is such a special place. The staff are very special people too. Dad would want me to mention Brandon, Tara and Cheryl. Thank you Cavell, for everything. X

The staff and management are excellent in every way, and I could not be happier with the care my husband receives.
The facilities are great, and he now very much enjoys his nutritious meals and activities provided.
The happy and caring staff always have time to answer any queries and keep me informed
of any changes.
In his words, "This is a lovely plave and everyone likes me", which says it all.

Heath Lodge has been such a positive experience for myself and Mum since day 1, but more importantly for my Dad. The whole team are so friendly, loving, caring, kind and professional.
The Heath Lodge team under the leadership of Hazel, and management of Sue (would name everyone!) are great. The team
are a credit to Care UK and have a 'great formula'!

My husband came to Ivy Court October 2025.
It took me a very long time to come to terms with the fact that after 3 years of looking after him at home myself I could not care for my husband at home anymore.
When I came to visit Ivy Court for the first time and meet the team I felt reassured that what
I with the support of my family had decided was the right path for my husband's wellbeing and my health.
So it became easier choosing Ivy Court for my beloved husband and it makes me feel so happy that he is happy there and is loved and respected by all the staff.
The whole team from top to bottom is fantastic and it creates an atmosphere of happiness as far as I am concerned and my family feel the same when they visit.
As you enter the welcoming feel sort of hugs you as all the staff greets you with a welcome smile on their faces.
The kitchen staff from head chef to all the other staff are fabulous and they create yummy food. The entertainment team are smashing too.
Thank you team I/C
