Welcoming - clean - well Run

Thanks to all at Ivy Court for the support care and kindness shown to my father during his short stay there. I would have no hesitation in recommending it for the facilities offered to those with advanced dementia. Everyone is extremely helpful & friendly

My mother has been at the home for a year now and has settled in very well. The care has been excellent, and everyone is kind, caring and supportive. There are plenty of activities available, as well as a cinema room, which everyone enjoys. The home is not too big, which creates a more personal and welcoming atmosphere.

- Mum's finger nails not being trimmed depsite me asking several times and only today being told that I need to provide kit for doing this (when she was at home the podiatrists trimmed finger and toe nails) One of the dishwashers has been broken for a number of weeks - this is not acceptable and affects staff and residents - is a hygiene issue.

The home is very clean. The care team are very caring and supportive to the residents. Reception staff are always welcoming. Two ladies welcome visitors and are very supportive to the staff and all residents. The whole team at Coronation House work so hard and are just fantastic.

Its a very pleasant building. I've never been in a care home before. But the home provides everything I need. My family live near can visit me often. I'm very comfortable in my room.

Excellent care home.

Mum had one negative comment - saying some of the staff did not enjoy their job and didn't like what they had to do in the role - it was noticeable to her, she is very aware despite short term memory loss. But she enjoyed all the activities very much. It was a great help to me to know mum was in safe hands. Thank you.

My dad is a resident at Cavell Court an we are so happy about the care that he is receiving. He has settled in so well. His room is lovely with some petsonal touches and he has not had a bad word to say about any of the staff. Food is varied and my dad enjoys it all.

I cannot recommend this home more to anyone looking for nursing care and more specifically dementia specialist care.

Right from our first meeting, we knew Heath Lodge was the care home for my wife. The care is 110%, and you will not find a more lovely and professional bunch of management and carers anywhere. My wife did go into two homes for respite, but they cannot hold a candle to Heath Lodge care. To say she is very happy and the family is very happy is an understatement.

Oak manor did just that. They truly cared for my father offering activities and birthday celebrations. Their kindness on the day he passed surpassed all expectations. He was treated as we were with genuine care. The staff are truly amazing thank you this will never be forgotten x

My mother is currently being cared for within Heath Lodge. The care she has received ever since moving into the home has been exemplary. They hit high standards across all categories. Focus is very much on the residents, building relationships, understanding their needs and going the extra mile to make them feel special and part of the Heath Lodge family. Highly recommended!

My partner has been resident in Cavell Court now for over 2 years and is very settled, she is looked after by an excellent team and treated with care and respect and is very settled. The team go about there daily duties with good humor giving the place a friendly atmosphere. The entertainment team do a difficult job with good jumour and fun. Well done to everybody not forgetting the kitchen staff serving great food every day. Thanks for your care.

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, they run the home to make it feel like one big happy family. We as a family are forever grateful to Cavell Court, they got me my dad back from a very bad place he was in mentally and physically through care and understanding.
