Life at Cavell Court is all about comfort and luxury, which is why each bedroom is of a high standard, with an en-suite wet room. Residents can also enjoy excellent facilities, such as a contemporary café, cinema and hair salon, as well as lovely grounds.
Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Staff worked so hard to get dad back to good health last year and he was able to return home but will always return to Cavell for respite care when needed. I would recommend this care home to anybody.

My mother, came to reside at Cavell court in February 2025. The quality of care she has received has been wonderful. The staff always have time for me and answer all my questions. The staff are amazing and look after my mum so well. The activity team always have lots going on every day and when out on visits take photos and load them up on the care home website. Even though my mum is bed bound and doesn't go on the trips, I love seeing the joy on the residents faces in the photos.The coffee shop area in the home is a lovely place to chat to other residents and their families or friends. Management were very obliging when I asked if I could do quick visits after I have left work around 6.30pm to check on mum. I cannot fault this care home. It's brilliant and the friendly staff in all departments are constantly considerate.

My wife was in respite care for three weeks at Cavell Court and was looked after extremely well.There was so many activities to join in with.The staff are very professional very well trained and looked after my wife's needs at all times.The food is also very good with different selection every day.The gardens are lovely to walk round with some beautiful flowers.All of the staff at Cavell Court are very polite with very good communication skills and always available when my wife needed anything.There was no problems whilst my wife was in care and she was looked after with dignity and patience.Overall I would say that this is the best care home we have ever come across and would recommend the home to anyone with whatever there needs are.The standards at Cavell Court are second to none and everything is taken care of to put you at ease.

I visited several Care Homes before visiting Cavell. Sam met me on my visit, showed me around, explained things and answered my many questions. I already knew because it felt right. Like walking into someone's home and feeling so welcome. Cavell staff gave us the chance to become a family again...

I have lived here for five and a half years. I have enjoyed meeting new residents and making new friends and the staff have always been kind and considerate and have made this feel like home. If I have a problem that needs medical attention a nurse or doctor will be called so I get the right treatment when I need it. In all, I am very happy living here.

We were immediately impressed by the care, consideration and respect given to him from all staff. It was a relief knowing he was being cared for in the best possible way. Our family were always welcomed, and the staff went the extra mile, such as for birthday celebrations and Valentine's Day. When Dad sadly passed, the acts of kindness shown by all the staff gave us great comfort.

I left after five years to progress my career, but I decided to return because I believe in Care UK’s values and commitment to caring for residents.
Care UK is the best place I have ever worked. The support provided to colleagues is fantastic. Providing care is about being passionate and committed. As Home Manager, I believe it’s important to listen to and support residents, relatives and colleagues in the home on a day-to-day basis. I work hard to make a difference in their lives.
The safety and well-being of the residents living at Cavell Court are of the utmost importance to me, and ensuring all procedures are followed is an important part of my role. My favourite part of the day is walking around the home every morning to talk to each resident and team member.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy time in the garden and do DIY at home.
