My Mother has been a resident in Ivy Grove for over two years and we can't praise the home and the staff high enough. We are so grateful for the wonderful way my mother is looked after and it's a great relief knowing she is safe and happy.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We are extremely happy with care that my mum receives from the care home , the staff are all very supportive, friendly, and professional. A variety of activities are daily organised which my mum enjoys engaging in ( and we are welcome to join in if visiting) . We are always informed of any doctor visits
and any treatment my mum requires. The food is off a good standard and variety offered. The staff went to great lengths on Christmas day to accommodate our relatives to have lunch with my mum (as myself and wife were away ) a table was especially laid for them and they experienced a fabulous lunch and valuable time with my mum . We are also invited on any Trips that are organised and again theses are run professionally and entertaining for the residents ( a great time is had by all)
My mum is always well presented and clean and her room is kept clean and tidy.
We are always kept up to date with any changes or needs my mum requires by the management team they are always available .

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Since my mum has been at Charlotte House the staff have been so kind and supportive.
They have looked after her with such compassion and professionalism from day one, providing so many activities and events to make a difference to her comfort and wellbeing. They even painted her nails which was a nice
surprise!
They keep me informed every step of the way throughout her declining health which has given me such peace of mind.
I feel completely reassured knowing that my mum is in the right place, receiving the right level of care and support she needs. I am so grateful for everything they do.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
From my first visit to Smyth Lodge 2 1/2 years ago to the day my mum died it felt like a caring community. I always felt welcomed by all the staff and knew immediately that my mum would not only be cared for but loved. The staff go above & beyond to look after their residents. Her room was well furnished
and kept clean & her laundry was always done regularly. The meals were well planned & the dining room was like a restaurant! The communal areas were sociable areas to enjoy & the garden was beautiful. The activities were well organised & there was something for everyone. As mum became more frail & needed more care the staff were patient & kind trying to make her last days as comfortable as possible. Words cannot describe how grateful I was to entrust my mum to this home & I will be forever grateful.

Wonderful atmosphere over the xmas period. Every resident is made to feel special with a visit from Santa & a gift. Inclusive xmas day dinner. Plus the care doesn't stop. On numerous/daily occasions I see one to one time taken spent with residents helping them feel safe & heard not to mention the activities
which are great.

Hi, my mother has been a resident for over 6 months, I couldn't be happier with her care, HNP is a vibrant, clean, friendly and warm home and you will be happy to have your loved one stay. Staff even come in on days off to help or see a resident they are fond of. Thank you Lia and all your team.

I actually believe that my father could've had better more personalised care at Lennox House then was provided to him when he stayed there for 6 weeks of respite. we felt that the sales patter was very impressive but the service delivery less so.
There was one occasion where his safety was a concern
of mine eg call buttons being placed out of reach from a bed bound man with a broken arm. Patients with severe dementia were walking around into other patients rooms and very little one-to-one care with patients.
I am sure the staff try their best but it wasn't good enough for me and my father.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Lennox HouseThank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding Lennox House. We are truly sorry to hear that your father’s respite stay did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you raising these concerns.
The safety and wellbeing of every person in our care is our highest priority. I am sorry to read of the concerns regarding the call bell accessibility and supervision, and we take matters like these very seriously. Situations involving mobility limitations, cognitive impairment, and dementia require careful assessment and ongoing monitoring, and we regret that your experience did not reflect the standard of care we strive to provide.

The team works hard to deliver compassionate, person-centred care, and we always do our best to continue to improve how that care is delivered in practice. Feedback such as yours is essential in helping us review our processes, staffing models, and communication to ensure residents and families feel confident and supported.

We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience further and better understand the specific circumstances you have described. Please feel free to contact our Compliments and Complaints team directly so we can address your concerns and continue to improve our service. The email address is complimentsandcomplaints@careuk.com.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you and your father all the very best

My husband,Christopher was recently transferred to your facility in July 2025 due to renovation of his prior facility.Since my first visit to your facility prior to his arrival there,I had an inclination he would be taken care of atb the Forrester Court Care Home.
I want to express my sincerest appreciation
to you and your caregivers for providing excellent next-level care for my husband
The staff provides:
personal notifications if there are any issues
friendly and accommodating.
treat me like part of the care facility
24 hours access to doctor services
repositioning him in a special way to prevent bed sores to include proper head support
proper care of his fingernails and toenails
ensures he is saved and his hair cleaned
One area I really appreciate is the Namaste facility and the lady who operates it.Chris loves the light projections in the room and the lady even went as far as going to give him a personal session when he slept through his normal session time.

I am writing to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Amberley Lodge for making our mother's 101st birthday celebrations with the family on Sunday, 4th January 2026, so incredibly special. The meticulous attention to detail, from preparing the coffee room to putting up decorations,
was truly commendable. The birthday cake prepared by Gilroy, the chef, was an absolute masterpiece and added a delightful touch to the occasion. Your unwavering support ensured the day was filled with joy and cherished memories. Thank you all!

Langley oaks is a home from home, I would love to pop some names of the wonderful staff who are like family for mum! I can honestly say my mum is so happy to live here forever as she keeps telling me! The family of staff are truly amazing and caring and mum is so very lucky and I'm truly grateful for
the kindness, support and care and her quality of life is amazing and it's just such a pleasure to hear mum speak so highly of how lovely the food and drinks are, how clean and tidy her home is and how everyone friendly and her room is lovely and the gardens are beautiful and she cannot wait until the summer to see the garden in full bloom! I would never want her to be anywhere but here as she is finally living the wonderful life she so truly deserves and I couldn't be happier!! Every need is catered for and nothing is too much, she is treated with the upmost of dignity, she is safe, there are lots of activities and they have gone above and beyond and I'm truly thankful and grateful!
