My dad was at Southborough from April 2025 until December 2025 when he passed away. The staff at Soutborough are what make it. Dad was treated with care, compassion, and dignity throughout his time at Southborough. When dad passed away, we asked if we could have a memorial event at Southborough which,
despite being incredibly busy, the manager and lifestyle lead agreed to do. Dad's memorial was a lovely event which our family will remember forever- and we are grateful to the team for all of their help and support.

The staff have treated our loved one with genuine warmth, dignity, and respect, creating a true sense of home and belonging.
What has stood out most is the care & compassion shown by every member of the team. They have taken the time to understand not just care needs, but personal preferences, routines,
and the little things that make such a difference to quality of life.
Special occasions and birthdays are celebrated increasing the sense of community, friendship and connection. Nothing was ever too much trouble for staff.
As care needs became more complex, the level of professionalism and empathy grew stronger. The staff worked closely with hospice services to ensure comfort, dignity, and peace during end-of-life care. Their sensitivity, communication, and unwavering support meant everything.
We are deeply grateful for the dedication, kindness, and respect shown. Sherwood Grange is a place where residents are valued as individuals, & where families can feel confident of the best care.

I must say that my father who was very old and poorly with Alzheimer's dementia, presented Charlotte House with multiple issues which they dealt with in a very professional caring way which was certainly a relief to me as the worry for him was very concerning. I felt from the moment he moved in he was
safe and much happier than at home as the activities, entertainment and care given to him was top notch. So much so as a visiting relative I felt comfortable to pop in at any time . He reached end of life there and although sad his passing was dignified. Thank you Charlotte house x

Every time I visit the home dad looks well & content which makes me worry less about him The staff are always happy & helpful., so I have no concerns about the home at all .
They try to entertain the residents as much as possible and Interact with them to keep them stimulated. The food always looks
appetising but my dad isn't a big eater and that is my only criticism that they could put less on his plate.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Muriel StreetThank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on Muriel Street. Feedback is imperative to us to allow for improvements to be made, and the Home Manager will ensure that this is addressed moving forward to ensure that dad's preferences are met. Ivy Grove cared for our Dad as his health began to fail and he needed an end of life care plan. They could not have been more caring, enveloping Dad as part of the Ivy Grove family. They promptly sorted out any issues and settled Dad in with them. We know Dad enjoyed his time with them all and as a
family we remain enormously grateful for all their care and support not just with Dad but towards us as a family as well.

Galsworthy House has compassionate, kind, caring, patient and skilled carers and nurses. This was the most important criteria for me when I was looking for somewhere for my husband. I know he is safe in their hands. The whole team are excellent - including the domestic staff and activities team. I would
like to see the availability of more specialist equipment - there is only one Sara Stedy and this means it can delay transfer of my husband and other residents which is not ideal.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Galsworthy HouseThank you for taking the time to provide your wonderful feedback regarding Galsworthy House. My Mum has been at Galsworthy house since November 2024, and we could not be more delighted with the care and support she receives. Mum is known and valued as a person, and staff go out of the way to recognise Mum's preferences in her daily care. There is a lively and varied daily programme of activities
that help Mum feel engaged with staff and residents and with the local community. When Mum has needed nursing care, this has been attentive and thorough, whilst respecting Mum' s dignity. Mum considers Galsworthy House to be her home and is happy to invite family members to join her for a coffee, a meal or a stroll on the patio. As a family member, I am always kept well informed about Mum's health and day-to-day care. And I receive a warm welcome as part of the Galsworthy community. When little issues arise, I am particularly impressed that no matter who I approach, that member of staff will help - or find the person who can. I am delighted Mum is so happy and well-cared-for.

I was very impressed with Belmont House from the moment that my mother moved in. She was unwell but with excellent care, she made a good recovery. Her room was light and airy and had a door to the garden courtyard, which she loved. The cleanliness is of an extremely high standard. I found the carers
and nurses - indeed all staff to be efficient and friendly. One feature that was very re-assuring is that the residents are monitored on a regular basis. A doctor visits every week. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
