I am very happy with the Care my mother gets at Amberley Lodge. Nothing is too much trouble for the team meaning she settled in very quickly. She feels she is at home. Takes a lot of the worry away we had prior to her admittance.

The whole staff, but particularly the deputy manager + nursing staff have been brilliant. Their care and knowledge has been exceptional, not only directly with my brother but with us as relatives. They have all always been welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole home is been
a gift in my brother's last year of life.

We cannot speak highly enough of Amberley Lodge and the wonderful care our husband and father has received over the past eight years.
Throughout his time at the home, we have been consistently impressed by the high standard of care provided by every member of staff. The team are compassionate, professional,
and genuinely committed to residents' wellbeing, treating them with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Whenever there have been medical concerns, staff have acted quickly to ensure he receives the attention he needs. Communication with the family is excellent, and we are always kept informed and updated, which gives us great peace of mind.
The food is another highlight, and special occasions are always celebrated beautifully. The chef regularly goes above and beyond, with the birthday cakes being particularly memorable.
We are grateful for the care, dedication, and support shown to our loved one over the years and would not hesitate to recommend Amberley Lodge to other families.

Firstly we felt at ease immediately arriving to view Amberley Lodge. Sean was extremely knowledgeable, reassuring and professional.
The care home felt like a home from home unlike other homes we had visited which felt more corporate.
Amberley Lodge clearly has a great team of staff, from Sean, Daria,
Shackae, Shellie, Novelette, Reception staff, Solomee, Delvin, night staff, to name but a few have all been supportive to my uncle and us as a family at a time when it was really needed.
We have felt at ease knowing my lovely, gentle, kind uncle is being well looked after.
So much effort is made with activities, beautiful food and organisation.
I also personally love to see the staff engage with my uncle and really are trying to get to know him.

This nurseing home is one of the nicest homes in the borogh,the starff go above and beyond to care for the residents,so much respect given to the residents and family members,especialy Tracey shes hard working and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome,shes a credit to Franklin House,mathew
the home manager is verry nice he makes the residents and family members feel welcome,this nurseing home is so clean they highly care about clenlyness and peoples safety all the staff are amazeing also,the sheff Denzle is an amazeing cook my partner is fussy with foods but he gives Denzles cooking a 10 out of 10 id of given more stars if your looking for care for your loved one this home is amazeing and your loved one will be well cared for..im so pleased i chose Franklin House i can finaly rest easey knowing my partner is well cared for

This was our mothers first experience of a care home (to give our live in carer a break), so we were very nervous of how it would go - especially as she was against being in a Home and capable of difficult behaviour. However, everything went very smoothly and the entire care team were brilliant and

My dad came to Belmont House for care because of Alzheimers. All staff have been fabulous in trying to understand his appropriate needs & quirks and helping him adjust to a different life. It has a nice relaxed homely atmosphere.

Fantastic staff, they go above and beyond for the resident's. My Uncle has been here since 2021. He was a difficult person but they all got to know him, and to help him settle in. Everytime I visited my grandmother in Belmont House we saw excellent care given to her - the staff were also so kind with my children - the great grandchildren and they loved visiting her - getting a jelly and juice from the cafe! The staff were so knowledgeable and supportive during end of life care
and we will always be very grateful for making her so comfortable at the end. Thank you.

We had to find a care home at short notice and found selves so lucky to find Sherwood Grange. The staff were very friendly and caring. My parent only moved because it didn't cater for couples. My sister and I took comfort in knowing they were well cared for and in a safe place.

A great summer Fayre organised and hosted by the staff of Franklin House. Such hard work went into ensuring this event went smoothly and it really did. Great hot food, beautiful cakes and fresh fruit. Cold and hot drinks also available. Everything in great supply.
Great entertainment and a raffle
with prizes donated by family members and staff.

Right from the beginning, the staff were kind and explained how our loved one's condition was. They always had time for us. The ongoing care was exceptional and always with dignity. The last few days before she died, we couldn't have asked for more kindness. We, the family, were shown so much kindness,
it's hard to put into words.

My mother was in Buchanan Court for approx 9 months and it has taken far too long to write this review.
The staff at Buchanan Court were amazing with my mother's care.
Far too many to mention but Lorelei was outstanding and effectively acted as my sister in the home helping me to navigate the path
of having a Mum who at 94 needed full time care.
BIG George ( who looks like he should be the Heavy weight champion of the world ) is the world's best example of a gentle giant looking after Mum with kindness. Karthika, Diana, Maria, Christmas Tree and so many others really looked after Mum.
The managers care focus and pride in the summer parties and BBQ with his constant hard work all really appreciated.
Yes the facility is great, cinema room, mini pub, garden area but it is the staff who make the difference.
In fact weeks after my Mum leaving I bumped into BIG George, Xmas Tree and others and their concern for my Mum was still shown by them.
Love them all for the support and care they give.

Deer Park View

We have booked our Mum with dementia for a respite care for a week. All staff were all nice and seems friendly. Howevee, when we collected her, we have noticed on that night that she developed moist associated skin damage under her right breast. She was feeling itchy and in pain. Our Mum said, she
was only give one bath for the whole whilst she's been used to daily bathing with us. Mum can't do her personal bathing and changing of clothes hence she needs help, and it was discussed during her assessment. She has developed any pressure ulcer or skin damaged with us. So unfortunate, that this happened during her stay in just one week. Although, facilities are all clean and today.


We have contacted Mum's GP for the treatment, so she is better now in just few days of daily wash and hudrocortisone cream.


I have emailed them about our concern but have not receive any feedback from them yet.

Mum is happy here, the staff make a real difference some staff go the extra mile making Mum feel loved and cared for. Conversation is such a simple pleasure and Mum still has all her faculties so when Anna takes the time to get to know and understand Mum it really does enhance her world. Thank you.
