I cannot rate this care home high enough. The care they provide is the best I've ever seen. The staff, cleanliness, activities for residents, food and just the most wonderful atmosphere every time I visit. You can see how much the staff love their job as they are always happy and give residents first class care. Absolutely wonderful care home.

My husband receives excellent care. Staff are caring, professional and kind. They are all very supportive and friendly both to my husband and to me. Over the Christmas period I was able to spend quality time with my husband and his sons, partners and grandchildren were able to enjoy time with him too.

My wife was admitted to Highbury New Park Care Home with progressively deteriorating dementia some 18 months ago, and this has since deteriorated further. All the staff have been really kind to both my wife and me, and I feel many of them have developed a real affection for my wife, getting to know her likes, and how to comunicate with her. I also notice how kind the staff are to other residents, spending additional time with anyone who might be having a difficult day. From the beggining I have been particularly impressed by the good relations that exist between all the members of staff at all levels with a happy working environment. My wife is now receiving much better care than I could provide when she lived at home, leaving me able to have a more relaxed and loving relationship with her. Her room is clean and light, with appropriate measures to mange her risk of falling out of bed, and the walls are decorated with her own pictures. I feel my wife could not be in a better place.

Hi, my mother has been a resident for over 6 months, I couldn't be happier with her care, HNP is a vibrant, clean, friendly and warm home and you will be happy to have your loved one stay. Staff even come in on days off to help or see a resident they are fond of. Thank you Lia and all your team.

My father was a resident at Highbury New Park for two years until his death in May.

The care provided by the home was of the highest standard, including palliative care in his final two months. There is also excellent communication with the local GP practice.

As a family, we have always felt fortunate that we found a place for him at HNP. The management team are very proactive and professional, and the nurses and carers frequently went above and beyond when taking care of my father.

The staff were very approachable and responded quickly to any questions that we had regarding his care.

Added to this, the range of entertainment and regular one-to-one conversations with residents, means that they are given individual attention. There is also an app which provides details and photos of each person's activities.

My mum has been living at Highbury New Park for nearly a year now and I want to say how happy I am with the decision we made as a family to move mum to this home. We honestly have no regrets. It is the staff team that make all the difference. They are absolutely amazing and I am forever grateful to them. They are attentive and genuinely caring and they have taken time to get to know mum so well, her routines, how she likes to things to be done, including bath time and meal times, helping her choose her clothes for the day and many more decisions throughout the day. My mum is very happy with her new home - she tells me the staff look after like she is a baby ! I visit regularly and see that mum has made friends with the staff and other residents so when I leave I know she is good hands. Thank you to all the Team - you are all very special people.

My husband was admitted to Highbury New Park Care home at the end of November 2024 and from that time his care has always been excellent. The staff are very well led and supported by the manager and her team, and all are most warm and welcoming.
The home itself is very well appointed and equipped, all the rooms are ensuite, and it is always immaculately clean.

There is a wonderful loving and homely atmosphere, making it a pleasure to visit, and reassuring me that my husband is receiving the best of care.

Since my relative became a resident at this home I found the staff very friendly, compassionate and helpful. I can visit my relative at any time (within reason) of the day. They have allowed me to assist my Uncle in making his time there more comfortable. I always look forward to seeing and speaking with the staff on duty on visiting.

Kudos, to you Care UK. Keep up the nice work.

I am very happy, I love all the staff and the residents are taken care of wonderfully. We are all treated as family. We are always invited to The events at Highbury New Park, and we enjoy attending to be with our loved ones. We make friends with other relatives and have weekly coffee mornings where we catch up with staff and other relatives. The staff always contact me to tell me how he is, and when I leave I know he is safe and happy and well cared for.

It's very reassuring to our family that my father's more complex care needs are provided for. And being able to visit him at any time and know that I will be warmly welcomed is a huge comfort. My conversations with staff and management are professional yet friendly; they understand the difficulties that families face when someone moves into a care home and support us through the process too.

I am so happy my mum is in this care home because they are the nicest carers I have ever met. The manager is so informative, very welcoming, and when we first met her she told us and explained every little thing that the residents and carers do, she is very easy to talk to if you have concerns about anything.
I love all the carers on my mum's floor, they are very genuine, they are so good with and to the residents, and they know all their needs, what they like to eat, and what they like to do. It's spotless in my mum's room and my mum always looks clean and tidy always. My mum loves it there and seems very happy (Thank God ) they do so much there and everyone always has a smile, I am very grateful my mum is in this particular home.

A massive thank you to all the staff.

My husband has been in Highbury New Park since May. Since then, he has settled in well. He has been encouraged to progress from wheelchair to walking frame, which has improved his general health and allowed him greater independence. He spent one night in hospital for planned surgery, which was well organised, with minimum stress. Residents here are treated as individuals, with warmth care and affection. My husband enjoys particularly his room, which is clean, spacious and well appointed, the garden where he feels relaxed, and the fact that the common room is not overcrowded. He looks forward to his meals. It has made a big difference to us as a family to have found such a pleasant, calm and welcoming place and to know that we can be assured he will be cared for with both kindness and efficiency.

I started my career with Care UK over 13 years ago, in 2009 as a General Nurse. Over the years I have worked my way through various positions, then became Home Manager here at Highbury New Park in 2016.
