Charlotte House is a purpose-built care home set close to West Middlesex University Hospital and the River Thames. The highly skilled team provides specialist nursing and respite care for older people who have Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.

The home has a relaxed atmosphere, and the team works closely with residents and their families to develop personalised care plans that take into account each person's experiences, interests and preferences. Care plans incorporate even the smallest details so that the care provided makes your loved one feel special.

an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My mum was sent to Charlotte House in May 23 after being told she had about 3 - 6 months. Sadly, mum passed away peacefully in May 25. My sister and I truly believe that the caring, kindness and total devotion of all the staff gave mum those extra two years with us. She enjoyed the activities that were
arranged, especially a trip to the seaside that coincided with her birthday, as she talked of this often. She was listened to and treated with dignity by all. Mum had lots of personal things in her room, which must have made it difficult for the staff, but never a complaint was made, in fact comments were made at how lovely it was, especially at Christmas. I cannot fault this amazing place.

The staff at Charlotte House couldn't have been nicer to my dad, who was 95 when he passed away, having been there for 15 months. They encouraged him to move about and socialise, which he did as long as he could/wanted to, and then they were respectful that he was happier in his room with his crosswords,
and TV. They were always very welcoming, no matter what time of day I visited, or at weekends. A lovely care home.

I found every member of staff from each department very helpful, kind and considerate. Everyone was so kind to my Mother-in-law and made her stay very enjoyable, every event was celebrated making a happy atmosphere. The hairdresser was a big hit and painting nails too, but most of all it was the love,
kindness and respect given to her.

Our mum is really well looked after and the staff are lovely with her. She has been a resident for nearly 7 years and is very settled in the home. It is a relief for us to know she is being properly cared for all the time.

My husband was not shaved, his hair was greasy, not washed. I gave warning that I would pick him up at 1pm. I arrived at 2pm. Staff just packing his clothes. We had someone else's coat int he bag which I took back later, also medication which I picked up. It is a friendly place, but could be a lot better
in different areas. Staff are friendly. No one around when I left, I would have liked to talk with someone.

Please accept my apologies that you were unable to find a member of staff to speak with before you left the home. We strive to provide a seamless and supportive experience for both our residents and their families, and on this occasion our staff were working hard to support other residents and are extremely apologetic that they missed you.

We truly value your input, and I want to assure you that we are committed to improving the areas you've highlighted. If you have any further concerns or would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to the Home Manager who is always appreciative and receptive to any feedback.

My mum has been in Charlotte House for six months. She is 93 with Alzheimer's and very active, this can be a challenge! The staff have been patient and kind and my brothers. I have felt very welcome when we visit.

When my mum first came to the home, we thought we only had a short time with her. Now, I think she will reach her 100th birthday easily. Nothing is too much trouble for the manager and staff. We organised a party for her birthday with the help of a member of staff on reception. She has come on leaps
and bounds since being admitted. I cannot praise Charlotte House enough, thank you to everyone there.

We have found that our cousin has settled into her new life in Charlotte House. She feels content that she has made the right decision to come here. We have come to be with her every day and have never found her to have any worries. What is especially good is that all the staff know her name and greet

My brother wasn't managing on his own at home but didn't want to go into residential care. He came to stay at Charlotte House for two weeks and didn't want to come home. He looks so much more healthier, happier and mobile. Every time I spoke to him, he was happily talking about all the great things

Job Title: Home Manager

Charlotte House feels like a real family home. My team gets to know residents like members of their own family, and there’s a strongly supportive atmosphere here that you notice as soon as you visit.
One of our priorities is to see the world through residents’ eyes, so we can understand what’s important to them. When we know that, we support residents to enjoy meaningful and empowering experiences every day.
I have worked for Care UK since 2017; I’m a nurse by training, but I also have qualifications in social care and management. I joined the organisation because it is committed to high-quality care and to supporting colleagues to excel in their roles and careers.
The Care UK vision – Fulfilling lives – is something we strive to achieve every day at Charlotte House. For me it’s not about doing spectacular things, but about making every day meaningful. One of my passions is to make residents smile each day. That, and making their wishes come true, are among my proudest achievements.
