Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. From the moment you first set foot in Tennyson Grange there is a positive vibe. The staff are friendly and approachable. My cousin needs 24 hour care and I cannot fault the care he has been given. I would definitely recommend.

It was a very emotional and difficult time having to place our lovely mum into a residential care home. My sister and l felt overwhelmingly guilty but our fears were soon allayed having visited the care home on a couple occasions prior to my mum becoming a resident. The staff/team are caring, polite
and extremely helpful. More importantly, my mum seems very settled and happy. Thank you to all at Tennyson Grange.

I am so impressed with the reception staff, they are always so friendly and helpful. They make you so welcome when you go into the care home . The activities are second to none , that was one of the reasons I chose Tennyson Grange . The activities co-ordinator and her assistant are always doing something
with the residents. Whether they are taking them out on trips or having entertainment in the home . Arranging flower arrangements or doing art work in the art room . I find the carers are so helpful and caring and very friendly, the manager of the home is always assessable and ready to listen to anything you have to say .

Tennyson Grange care home has been brilliant to my grandmother and our family. She has felt loved, safe and cared for in the past three months that she's been living here. Her spirits have lifted from all the joy of the activities and company. She often tells me that she could never feel alone here.
The leadership have had grace and compassion throughout the whole process of my grandma going from respite to permanent and the carers have been excellent. She is in good hands here, which has taken all the weight off my shoulders.

My father urgently required residential care and I researched and visited a variety of care homes in the area. Tennyson Grange was a head and shoulders above those visited from the welcoming staff at reception, friendly carers and support workers to accommodation of the highest standard with safety
one of the main priorities.
My father happily moved in and I was given as much time as needed for him to settle in, visiting regularly although there are so many activities he is rarely alone or in his room. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

dad moved into Tennyson Grange a few months ago and we cannot fault the care and support he has received. My father was resident for six months receiving memory care at Tennyson Grange. He thrived in this wonderful vibrant home engaging in the many activities on offer. Sadly his condition deteriorated but he received excellent end-of-life care at the home. We as a family were always welcome and supported
at this difficult time. We couldn't have asked for a better end of life experience and as a result have grieved knowing that our father's final months were full of fun and he was cared for by superb staff.

Dad was a resident in Tennyson Grange for almost three and a half years until he sadly passed away recently, weeks before his 99th birthday. During all his time there, he was treated with dignity and kindness by all the staff. There were multiple activities and outings he could participate in, and he
had first-class medical care from the GP and nurses at the home. I cannot recommend highly enough.l

Very caring, understanding and supportive of Dad's needs and our concerns. Dad has Alziemers, we were concerned about how he would cope with the transition into a care home. The home went above and beyond to make Dad feel settled and welcome. Dad has adjusted well and says he's happy. If I have any concerns management is very approachable. I chose Tennyson because of the activities
department. The Lifestyle leader deserves a medal. She is the heart of Tennyson. Reception is very helpful. Everyone is so friendly and kind.

I would like to express my thanks to all the staff at Tennyson Grange. Every single person I have seen and spoken to when I visit mum, have been so amazing, kind and caring. Not just to mum, but to me and my sisters. Everyone is approachable, friendly and make me feel very welcome. Nothing is too much
trouble for any of them. They speak to Mum with kindness and dignity and not a number. The nurses and carers understand and accommodate Mum's complex needs and adapt where possible. They keep me well-informed of her needs. The care and communication is exceptional.
Everyone goes above and beyond for mum and the other residence and some stay late, just because they care and want to do their job to a high standard. When the staff pass her room they say hello and goodbye with a smile.
Also, a very big thank you to all the people who are behind the scenes that don't get recognised. Thank you!

The first impression is everyone is happy, all staff! A really warm atmosphere. Nurses are quick to respond to any request. Food is excellent and allow wine if requested. Lots of activities, guest singers. Great sun terrace. Rooms are very nicely furnished and you can put up picture frames, they will
do it for you. Everything is spotless and clean. 3 car parks, can turn up any time. Mum is very happy and says they let her do what she likes, thinks it's a hotel.

I find many aspects of my brother's care very good but some things seem inconsistent and apparently dependent on which staff are on duty. I am especially impressed by senior leaders' responsiveness to feedback and requests for support/information. The range and quality of activities, in particular,
the cultural activities and links with major cultural institutions such as ENO and the VeA and the lovely welcome in reception.
