My care was excellent and reassuring getting me through the early weeks of my hip replacement, when I was nervous. All the staff were lovely helpful and friendly including the kitchen staff who provided some good meals. My room was nice although I didn't get on very well with the profile bed which I
had asked for, maybe I didn't get on with it because I had to sleep on my back which I am not used to doing.Thebother residents were friendly and I enjoyed their company. We also had good entertainment , Australia Day , Burns Night etc.I also enjoyed the singer the week after that, some did some didn't, but you will never please everyone.
I would like to thank everyone at Driffield Manor for looking after me so well and for making my stay so enjoyable.

Dad decided he wanted to go into respite while I was away in Australia and after they had cared for my mum with dementia previously. He knew a few members of staff from the past and he was well looked after during his stay of 4 weeks. The staff were great and he enjoyed the company of other residents
as he lives alone. The facilities are the best in the area, warm, clean and well maintained. He enjoyed the food and getting involved in the regular activities that the staff put in. He has even picked a room for when/if he decides to become a permanent resident. Thankyou to all the staff in the Haven for making his stay so enjoyable at Xmas/new year

The staff at the carehome were second to none. My Auntie/godmother was moved here following a short stay in a different local carehome where she received some of the worst care you could imagine. The staff at The Manor helped make her last days comfortable and showed her so much care and compassion
I will always be greatful. The location of the home means it is easy to access and always easy to park plus if a resident is well enough to take short walks they have quick and easy access into the town centre.
I do have a few relatives who have wanted to come for short stays of one or two weeks andI think it is a shame that your policy does not permit this as Im sure if someone stayed with you short-term they would not want to leave.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Driffield ManorFirstly, please may we start by offering our sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family for your loss during this difficult time. It is incredibly kind of you to take the time to let us know how your Auntie enjoyed precious time with the team at Driffield Manor. I know I can say that each of the team will be uplifted by your words and will be delighted to know that their care has been so well received and appreciated. For most it is a vocation and continually delivered with care and empathy for residents and their families with a shared goal of wanting to make their time with us the very best it can be.

We are also pleased to know your thoughts as a visitor on the location of the home, and that you also saw the benefits of opportunities for residents able to take short walks and where aided to even enjoy the town centre with their loved ones.
Your feedback regarding short stays has been noted. Whilst we currently do not offer short term stays it is invaluable to have insight as to how this may be of value to families and it is wonderful to hear that this is your viewpoint following your loved ones stay.
Thank you for such a thoughtful review, and for sharing your Aunties experience of our care from you and your family’s point of view. Very best wishes to you and your family.

This is the third or fourth time we have used Westfield Park for respite for my mum. What I like is that many of the staff remember mum by name when she returns. The rooms are clean and homely and the staff contact if there are any problems. I'm happy leaving mum here for respite.

Today was a big day for my 91 year old mum moving into care after living alone for more than 30 years. She was both excited and nervous but is now settled in and happy. The experience for my wife and I has been outstanding; the staff, without exeption, have been superb. Every one has gone out of their
way to welcome Mum and make her feel at home in her new home. What an outstanding experience. Thank you all!
Reply from Emma Medici, Reviews Team at Tranby ParkWe really appreciate you taking the time to write about yours and your Mum's positive experience of moving into our care home. After the upheaval of the first day it makes us so happy that your Mum is now settled and feeling at home. We understand the nervousness and apprehension when considering such a life changing move, we are so glad that we could support this transition with such care and compassion.
We will endeavour to ensure your experience of care here at Tranby Park is as glowing as your first impression. Many thanks from the Tranby Park Team.

Mum went into Westfield in December, initially for 4 weeks respite. At the end of the 4 weeks she decided to become a permanent resident. From the moment Mum arrived she felt welcomed, respected and treated with dignity. The staff are kind and compassionate and always take time to listen to her.
The
Management Team are very approachable and the manager appears to have an open door policy.
It gives me great peace of mind knowing that Mum is happy, well cared for and safe. I am very grateful for everything they do for Mum and would highly recommend this Care Home.

I cannot fault the lead up to Christmas. The activities were fabulous which of course is down to the staff. My wife is so well cared for. I can't fault the support she is being provided. We transferred my wife's care from another home to Driffield and it was the best decision we ever made. The facilities
are beautiful and we can't praise the staff highly enough - thank you.

I cannot speak highly enough of Westfield Park Care Home in Goole. From the moment my dad moved in, it was clear that this is a place where residents are genuinely cared for, respected, and treated like family.

The standard of care is exceptional, and the atmosphere throughout the home is warm, welcoming,

and reassuring. What truly sets Westfield Park apart, though, is the people. The manager goes above and beyond in every possible way. Her dedication, compassion, and attention to detail are evident in everything she does. She takes the time to know residents and families personally, and nothing is ever too much trouble. It's incredibly comforting to know that someone so caring and capable is at the helm.

The Manager is supported by a fantastic team of staff, all of whom are kind, patient, and consistently professional. Every member of the team shows genuine warmth and commitment, and it's clear they truly care about the wellbeing and happiness of the residents. Whether it's day-to-day

Overall good, but I've seen a high staff turnover since you gained ownship of the home. One ex-member of staff asked what the minium wage was, before leaving. Hopefully you won't be putting profits before care.

My husband arrived at Mere Hall Care home in August for end of life care. The staff helped us all through what was an incredibly difficult and emotional time. They cared for my husband with absolute dedication and with a personal approach, making him as comfortable as they possibly could, attending
to not just his needs but also mine and all of the family .The home is such a lovely welcoming environment with a real homely feel. The standards are excellent, the cleanliness and rooms are immaculate. We as a family cannot praise or thank the staff enough , every member of staff showed kindness and support to my husband and all of us which was a great comfort. The final week was the most difficult and challenging but the staff were again incredible offering us the opportunity to stay with my husband and treating him with the upmost dignity and respect. Thankyou for all of your kindness and hard work.
