Driffield Manor

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We cannot thank everyone at Manor Care Home in Driffield enough for the incredible care, compassion, and kindness they showed our Mum and our family.
Although Mum was only with you for a short time during her end-of-life care, every single member of staff went above and beyond to make her comfortable,
respected, and cared for. She was treated like a queen every single day.
Every person we met was an angel. The warmth, dignity, and genuine compassion shown by the whole team gave us so much comfort during the hardest time of our lives. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt supported as a family.
We truly couldn't have asked for more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making Mum's final days so, I would say peaceful, they absolutely were.. but they were also joyful, fun, heart warming and full of laughter. For treating her with such love and respect we will never forget the whole team's kindness.

Tranby Park proved to be very much a home from home for my sister in law. It is set in pleasant surroundings, is light and airy. The staff are very friendly and caring. There always seems to be activities one can join in. The large lounge is excellent with views onto the grounds. We were delighted as
a family to find this home and would recommend it to anyone requiring this type of facility.

My husband has been in Chapter House for 18 months. We had to move him from his previous home as it was closing. At very short notice Chapter House helped us with the move. My husband took a while to settle, but with care and kindness from the carers he has adjusted and is settled now.
His needs are
understood and catered for and staff know what he likes and dislikes

my mum has been in the home for a few months, she went in for respite care but stayed. Last Tuesday was her 100 birthday and the chef and staff put on a Party for her & the Staff and residents, we were invited, they couldn't have done more for her including getting her ready for the Party. I would like
to thank all the staff for making her comfortable and safe.

it is always a very difficult decision to move a parent into care. But the team at Chapter House have been wonderful.
Mum knows she is well looked after and feels safe, which she no longer did in her own home.
The care staff are brilliant and seem to have really warmed to Mum and they have fun which
is really nice to see.

It was a pleasure to look after your mum for the 3 weeks we shared. Yes she definately came on leaps and bounds during that time. It was lovely to see how much she enjoyed spending time with the team, doing the famous lounge jigsaws.

Primrose House

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum recently stayed at Primrose Care Home for a two-week respite stay while my dad was in hospital following a stroke. She was understandably very anxious about going, but the staff were absolutely fantastic and quickly helped her feel at home.

Within a couple of days, Mum was joining in with

activities, making friends and enjoying her time there. The care, kindness and patience shown by everyone gave us great peace of mind during a difficult period.

The home itself is modern, purpose-built and has excellent facilities. What impressed us most was that, despite only being there for a short respite stay, Mum was treated with the same care, attention and respect as the permanent residents.

Thank you to all the staff for making a stressful situation so much easier. I would highly recommend Primrose to anyone looking for respite or long-term care.

I enjoyed my stay at The Manor; the only thing I would have liked was a room with the sun, I understand there may not have been one available. I enjoyed the company of others and the friendly staff. The staff were thorough and professional. When I arrived there was a box of chocolates in my room, which
I thought was a wonderful touch. I enjoyed my food, and it was lovely. With different each day. I would definitely go back and spend another week there, as I really enjoyed it.

I'm pleased you enjoyed the chocolates we carefully selected, along with the delicious choice of food.

Mum has been a resident of DM for a couple of months now. Since arriving I have nothing but huge praise for all staff, from Customer relations, Home manager, chefs, cleaners and care staff. They are exceptional.
The home itself is pristine, 5 star venue, kept spotlessly clean by a team of fantastic
domestic staff.
The food is plentiful, varied and top notch - with catering going the extra mile to assist any food intolerances or dislikes.
A wide and varied activities/visits/games are provided to meet all residents needs.
I can now relax knowing Mum is safe and getting the support and love she needs 24/7.

It was my Dad's dream to move into Driffield Manor. He took great interest in it being built and couldn't wait for the open day! He attended many social events prior to moving in where he was made very welcome by every member of staff. He unfortunately had a fall and moved in under very different circumstances
than we had originally anticipated. He was only able to be there for a short time but his care was exceptional in every way. We would thoroughly recommend Driffield Manor to anyone who is looking for a residential care home and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for their care and support for my Dad and ourselves.
Reply from Samantha Atkin, Reviews Team at Driffield ManorHi C W thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback.

Your dad was a huge part of the Driffield Manor family, and he loved a chat with everyone at the coffee mornings. We were so excited when he decided to move in earlier than expected. Sadly with the fall at home, it wasn't the stay any of us wanted for him. The few days he had in his special room are so memorable for us. We talk fondly and often of him and he's very much missed by all the team. Thankyou for trusting us to care. Take care and remember to pop in when passing for a coffee and catch up.

My parents recently stayed for 2 weeks respite at Driffield Manor. The staff were so friendly and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. My parents were made to really feel at home.
Everything at the Manor was immaculately clean and they had a lovely room. There was an excellent choice of food
