There's loads of activities and entertainment for residents and the home posts photos online, which is brilliant for relatives
We've been impressed with how clean and well-kept everything is and all the facilities available, including a little shop, beauty salon, bar, several lounges, garden, rooftop terrace and even a small cinema.
The food is top quality and family & friends are welcome to eat there too. We really enjoyed the 3 course Mother's Day meal with mum on a recent visit.
In conclusion we can say that Tranby Park has exceeded our expectations at every turn and we would absolutely recommend it without hesitation.
We are very grateful to the amazing staff for looking after mum so well :o)
I, Mum, and all her family have nothing, but praise for the Tranby Park facility and the wonderful care staff. Mum has always said she would never want to go into a care home but by the time she returned home she said she now knows she would like to go to Tranby Park if it gets to a time when she doesn't feel able to look after herself at home.
Thanks again to everyone for the amazing service and lovely, friendly care.

My favourite part of my day at Tranby Park is my morning walk-around, when I can greet my colleagues finishing the night shift and welcome the day team. It’s a simple routine, but it sets the tone for the day and ensures we remain close as a team.
I hold NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 5 in Health and Social Care and have built my career step by step in the sector. Before joining Tranby Park, I was Deputy Home Manager in a large 84-bedded home, which gave me invaluable experience in leading teams and supporting residents. Becoming a Home Manager has been my biggest career highlight to date, and I’m proud to be in a role where I can make a real difference every day.
To do this role well, I believe it’s essential to have strong leadership and good communication skills, alongside adaptability, flexibility and the ability to build trust. For me, the most important part of being a manager is remaining approachable so that residents, relatives and colleagues always feel supported. In my role, I’m most proud of my fantastic colleagues, who work so hard to provide the highest standards of care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, socialising, and going on holidays.
