Both my parents are currently living in this home, on different floors. I am very pleased with the care given to them both. Without exception, all members of staff work very hard to ensure they are looked after really well. I have been kept informed when there has been illness or any other issues. The home is always very clean. It reminds me of a five-star hotel. During the time my parents have been living at Tranby Park I have recommended it to several friends. Their loved ones now reside in the care home.

I felt immense relief when I first viewed Tranby Park with my mum when she made the decision to move into a care home. Having visited many places, Tranby Park stands out for its beautiful, spacious and clean rooms and facilities. There are lovely grounds and a friendly and welcoming team. In recent months, the range of frequency of activities has grown considerably so there is something on most days. Mum feels secure and well-cared for.

Mum stayed at Tranby Park for respite care following a number of weeks in hospital due to a serious emergency health condition. When Mum arrived she was really very poorly but her turnaround during her time at Tranby Park was remarkable. Within a number of days, she had already made real progress and was improving rapidly. A few weeks later she was well enough to return home, with some home help support.

I, Mum, and all her family have nothing, but praise for the Tranby Park facility and the wonderful care staff. Mum has always said she would never want to go into a care home but by the time she returned home she said she now knows she would like to go to Tranby Park if it gets to a time when she doesn't feel able to look after herself at home.

Thanks again to everyone for the amazing service and lovely, friendly care.

It has been nearly two years since Mum became a resident. In that time, she has received the very best care in tranquil surroundings. I could not have asked for anything better, and I am so glad we chose Tranby Park.

All the staff are caring and attentive and keep you informed about the welfare of your loved one. Keep up the good work.

My mum has just completed two weeks of respite care at Tranby Park Care Home. The staff and management could not have been kinder or more professional. Mum was treated with gentleness and respect throughout her short stay. I would definitely choose this home again for Mum, if needed, in the future. It's like a five-star hotel! Thank you!

Since my mum moved here in 2021, my experience has been gained since then. We had carefully assessed and visited various homes before mum decided on this one. We are fortunate to have found that this is indeed an excellent home and my hopes for the care and support it provides have been met.
I have the sense that the owners and managers of the home have a common interest in doing things well. The staff - across the board - are welcoming and friendly and it's evident that they are well-managed and operate as a team. In my own interactions with staff - of which there have been many - I always find them helpful, positive and happy to work through anything my mum or I need help with.

Combine this with the evident expertise in caring for and looking after residents with compassion and respect, there's not a lot more that one could ask for.

My grandma has lived at Tranby Park for over a year now, the home is lovely and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Grandma has dementia and can be quite unsettled sometimes, the staff are great and know just know how to comfort her. When we first moved her in, the staff and managers were so supportive and eased our worries. There's lots of activities to do daily, Grandma loves going out on the minibus. Grandma's dementia has sadly become worse but she is safe and happy and surrounded by people who really care. A huge thank you to all at Tranby Park!

Both my mother and father came into Tranby Park in December 2019.
The home is a beautiful building with lovely rooms and plenty of space. Both my parents received excellent care throughout their stay, even through the difficult times of the Covid pandemic. The staff became their surrogate family when we were unable to visit, and in particular gave them each very good end of life care as they reached the end of their journeys.
And beyond the care they gave, several staff showed my mother and father a genuine love which they, and we, really appreciated.

Thank you!

The thought of a family member having to go into a care home fills most families with dread, it certainly did ours. However, after all the support shown, not just towards my Grandma, but the whole family by Tranby Park, the process has been made a lot more manageable. We cannot thank you enough, your level of professionalism throughout, has been faultless. Tranby Park is run by a team who truly care.

Meet the Team (1)

Emma Medici
Emma MediciJob Title:Home Manager

My favourite part of my day at Tranby Park is my morning walk-around, when I can greet my colleagues finishing the night shift and welcome the day team. It’s a simple routine, but it sets the tone for the day and ensures we remain close as a team.

I hold NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 5 in Health and Social Care and have built my career step by step in the sector. Before joining Tranby Park, I was Deputy Home Manager in a large 84-bedded home, which gave me invaluable experience in leading teams and supporting residents. Becoming a Home Manager has been my biggest career highlight to date, and I’m proud to be in a role where I can make a real difference every day.

To do this role well, I believe it’s essential to have strong leadership and good communication skills, alongside adaptability, flexibility and the ability to build trust. For me, the most important part of being a manager is remaining approachable so that residents, relatives and colleagues always feel supported. In my role, I’m most proud of my fantastic colleagues, who work so hard to provide the highest standards of care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, socialising, and going on holidays.
