As a family, we highly recommend this facility for the care they provided for both my mum and dad. My mum passed away in November 2019 having only being in the home for ten weeks. The care/support she received during those weeks were exemplary, with family support received from staff and management
amazing during a difficult time. Dad continues to live there receiving the same wonderful level of care from very kind friendly and loving staff. The facilities are first class and beautifully furnished. Meals are excellent, all homemade with additional treats added during the day. As a family, it is good to know dad is in a very secure and loving environment for which we can't thank you enough for making a difficult time that much easier.

I went to see my Uncle in this home 9.2.20. I couldn't believe how amazing this place was as you walked in it felt friendly, homely and welcoming. The decor is beautiful and furnished to a very high standard. There's a bar, a cinema room, hairdressers and the dining areas are very high standard its
as if you were going into a high-class restaurant. My Uncle didn't want to go in at first, he's a very independent man but within a couple of days he was loving it. If anyone is thinking about going into or is looking for a relative, go there first, you'll definitely look no further. It's amazing just wish there were more like this amazing home.

Job Title: Home Manager

My favourite part of my day at Tranby Park is my morning walk-around, when I can greet my colleagues finishing the night shift and welcome the day team. It’s a simple routine, but it sets the tone for the day and ensures we remain close as a team.


I hold NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 5 in Health and Social Care and have built my career step by step in the sector. Before joining Tranby Park, I was Deputy Home Manager in a large 84-bedded home, which gave me invaluable experience in leading teams and supporting residents. Becoming a Home Manager has been my biggest career highlight to date, and I’m proud to be in a role where I can make a real difference every day.


To do this role well, I believe it’s essential to have strong leadership and good communication skills, alongside adaptability, flexibility and the ability to build trust. For me, the most important part of being a manager is remaining approachable so that residents, relatives and colleagues always feel supported. In my role, I’m most proud of my fantastic colleagues, who work so hard to provide the highest standards of care.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, socialising, and going on holidays.
