The last 6 months have been awful for mum and our family. Making sure mum got the help she needed has been my main priority. Watching mum go through all the changes and daily challenges has been the most upsetting experience anyone could face.
Once we had visited Pear Tree Court - I knew mum would
be happiest here. They have removed so much pressure from me and mum has made some really lovely friends. She is well looked after and the happiest we have seen her in a long time. They involve mum in all their activities, have day trips out and I know mum is safe now.
The staff went above and beyond to help me get mum a place at the home. They were there every step of the way. The support has been fantastic and I have been so grateful for their kindness.

My dad required emergency restbite care from a failed discharge from hospital The Wickets team (Nikki, Sarah and Pooja) went over and above to facilitate my dads move to the most amazing care home. Its like walking into a 5* hotel with 5* staff and care. My dad wont want to come home.

My brother arrived at Pear Tree Court on 21 April, he passed away 1 month later. I visited Kevin on most days and I believe that he was well cared for with dignity and compassion. I'm pleased that Kevin was able to spend his final days in a friendly, comfortable and caring environment. The majority
of staff with whom we interacted were kind, understanding and patient and I'm grateful to them all for making Kevin's short stay as comfortable as it could be despite his declining health.
The facilities at Pear Tree Court are modern and extensive, catering for a wide variety of residents' needs and interests. I'd happily recommend Pear Tree Court to any family or individual considering placement there.

Oaklands House is very clean & well presented. The carers/nurses/kitchen staff/cleaners etc all go above & beyond to ensure that the residents are safe, secure & happy. The manager is so helpful and approachable and always has a smile for the residents and visitors alike. In my experience, I cannot
fault Oaklands at all. Just came home from an afternoon tea at Oaklands, it was wonderful.

My sister-in-law moved into Ancasta Grove in about October 2025. She wanted to go back to her flat, so at the end of a month's stay, she returned to the flat she had lived in for about 9 years, with a full-time carer. This, however, didn't work out, and so she came back to Ancasta Grove. The staff were
lovely, all greeted her back and made her feel welcome and 'at home'. Since then, she has been so well looked after - the food is good, there are plenty of activities, the rooms are spacious with a good-sized television, and the day-to-day care is excellent.
Reply from Colin Colthart, Reviews Team at Ancasta GroveHi Sandra, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience.
We are truly delighted to hear that your sister-in-law felt so warmly welcomed when she returned to Ancasta Grove.
Moving into a care home can be a significant transition, and we understand how important it is for residents to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Knowing that our team helped make her return a positive experience means a great deal to us. Your kind words about our staff, care, activities, accommodation, and dining will be shared with the whole team.
They work incredibly hard every day to create a warm, supportive, and engaging environment for our residents, and feedback like yours is both encouraging and rewarding.
Most importantly, we are pleased to hear that your sister-in-law is happy, well cared for, and enjoying life at Ancasta Grove. Thank you for placing your trust in us and for allowing us to be part of her journey.

Coming to visit my mother-in-law at Bourley Grange is a breath of fresh air. Beautifully clean and well-furnished, superb cuisine, friendly and helpful staff. Peter arrived at Bourley Grange in October 2025 after living in London since 1960. Due to personal reasons, he needed more care, and I was looking for somewhere closer to me.
From the moment my friend and I walked into Bourley Grange, we both knew straight away that it was the perfect place for Peter.
The warm welcome, the friendly smiles, and the attitude that nothing was ever too much trouble made a lasting impression.
It's such a comfort to know that your loved one is safe, well looked after, and genuinely cared for-it really is a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend Bourley Grange to anyone, and I'd like to say a big thank you to all the team for the hard work they do every single day.
What truly stands out is the low turnover of staff. You regularly see the same faces, get to know them by name, and they get to know you too. That consistency really shows that this is not only a wonderful place for residents, but also a great place to work. It contributes to a truly pers

Since moving in to Pear Tree Court my husband has settled in quickly. The staff have been very caring and helpful and taken time to find out about him.
There has been a good range of activities ranging from gardening, celebratory tea (VE day) and musical performances.
His room is spacious, airy and
clean as are the communal areas.
The cafe and garden areas provide are pleasant recreation space and change of environment.
I have been very happy with the care he has received and would recommend Pear Tree Court to others.

This was the first time my dad went in for respite so as a family we were all a bit apprehensive and unsure but we had nothing to worry about. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely kind.
From the first telephone enquiry to the day we took dad home everything and everyone was faultless. This home
really is impressive and the reviews I read to help me make my decision were so true and honest. My mum has now had a much needed rest and she is ready to look after dad again.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped make my dad feel at home and the amazing way in which he was looked after.

My father required home care amid a rapidly changing situation while being looked after by my mother, at home. The care requirement came from both my father's needs and immediate respite for my mother. Pear Tree Court were able to offer appropriate care almost instantly, for which the family is very
grateful.
The care provided was exactly what was required for my father and mother. The home's locality was perfect for daily visits from my mother and many of the family.
Whilst my father was destined for another home that was pre-agreed, Pear Tree Court staff played an essential role in coordinating a smooth support hand-over and appropriate discharge routines.
My father's staff care during his brief stay was of a very high standard, providing much relief to his family under clearly stressful circumstances. Thank you very much, Pear Tree Court team!

The home manager and customer relations manager were very helping in driving to visit my sister who lives near Heathrow in order to tell her about The Wickets and assess if it was suitable for her and that she was suitable for it. They have been very friendly in helping her settle in and in dealing

Dad has been at Sway since late last year and just wanted to say how well the whole team in Sway has taken care to help Dad settle in at 91 years old, never easy. All of my expectations have been met, and some surpassed.
Sharon, in the Dining room with her colleagues, deserves a special mention together
with Josh and his team; both groups have allowed Dad to transition very well into what has been a first-class living environment and make the most of all the opportunities to integrate or not.
Well done and thank you, Francis and the whole Sway team.

Carpathia Grange has a lovely 'feel' abotu it as soon as you enter. The Harbour Cafe is bright, clean and inviting with lovely cakes, biscuits and fruit always available to help yourself. The reception staff are always so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The restaurants are lovely and bright and residents'
rooms are of a good size and well furnished with very nice spacious ensuites. The gardens are lovely and very safe and easy to walk round for residents. Daily activities are good fro all and great fun too. Regular entertainers are really excellent and fun. The staff are excellent - I have not met any one who has not been kind, pleasant and helpful - it's very difficult to nominate any one person as they are all so lovely. A great deal of work goes into decorating the care home for special annual events. There is a great deal of respect from the staff for all residents and every resident is presented well dressed and spotlessly clean. I am delighted that Mum is so well cared for here at Carpathia Grange with a wonderful team - Thank you.
