My mother has been at Bourley Grange since January 2025 and has received great care. All the staff are so welcoming and happy to help. It is a friendly environment and we have been very pleased with the service received there. Residents and family are known by name and nothing is too much trouble for
the staff.

My Cousin arrived at Parker Meadows in August, he settled in very quickly having spent over a year in a care Home in Croydon. When asked by family how things are he replied "I'm in Heaven it is so lovely here, the food is so tasty and the staff are so caring".
Our family view is that Parker Meadows

Pear Tree Court

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has been at Pear Tree just over two weeks and the change in her is incredible.
Despite a lot of care visits at home my mum was still struggling, since being at Pear Tree she is doing so much better, she is now getting dressed each day, eating and drinking the lovely food and joining in lots
of the activities on offer.
The staff are wonderful and with lots of encouragement mum is now enjoying life in a way that is suitable for her situation, seeing the smile and little grins on her face again is so heart warming.
It was a very tough decision as a family to make this move into care for mum a very emotional journey for us, the staff have understood this and been very supportive to the family as we navigated this process. The support we have had during the visits to choose this home and since mum has been a resident has been fantastic. Thank you Pear Tree

My sister chose Parker Meadows above others that she had seen in Portsmouth and Fareham. she was impressed with the beautiful surroundings, the welcoming café with its coffee machine and home-made cakes, the activities organised every day and her beautiful bedroom with en-suite . She thought the staff
were amazing, kind and helpful. As my sister deteriorated with her vascular dementia. the staff were professional, patient and kind with her. The staff informed me with every aspect of my sister's care and if ever there was a problem. My sister could not have been happier. I thank them all so much for all they did for my sister.

I attended Carpathia Grange's Summer Party last Saturday with my husband and spent a lovely few hours with my Mum in the garden. The weather was good, not too hot, and therefore the event was held totally outside. The food was very good and plentiful whilst being very varied to suit all tastes and dietary
requirements.
All the team worked extremely hard to provide an enjoyable occasion for everyone, nothing was too much trouble and many staff had given their own time to assist their colleagues with the residents and visitors. The entertainment was good and the music tailored to the audience.
Although I do not live locally, I always try to attend social occasions with my Mum at Carpathia Grange as they are always fun occasions and also provide the chance for residents' family members to meet each other outside the indoor environment of the home.

Outstanding, I cannot praise all the staff at Carpathia Grange enough. From the time you walk through the door you are greeted by such friendly & welcoming staff. The support I was initially given from the home manager & admin staff when I was first looking for a care home to move my mum to was incredible.
All this support reflects in the way the home is run, everyone seems so happy & positive to be working together as a team to care for all the residents. It is always such a pleasure to visit, there are so many lovely places to sit within the home & a beautiful garden. The rooms are always kept clean. The food is outstanding with so much choice & the lifestyle team are just great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to move here enough.

I have found all the staff who look after my husband (who has Alzheimer's) to be extremely helpful. They are always cheerful and happy to talk about any concerns you might have. I particularly appreciate the fact that there is always plenty going on. The activities that are organised are imaginative
and include a huge variety - piano playing, art, dog cafe, men's club, visits to the theatre etc. Although my husband does not choose to get involved much, it makes Sway Place a lively place to be.
