I would like to comment on your receptionist at Ridley Manor, Maddi.
She has a brilliant personality, a lovely smile and is very welcoming as soon as anyone walks through the front door.
I've seen her speaking to others with a friendly attitude, aswell as myself too, which can make all the difference
to someone visiting a relation or friend who may not be in the best of health.
I've been to care homes in the past where you're lucky to get an acknowledgement when you walk in!!!
Maddi is a real asset to your team of staff.
The staff on the ground and 1st floor are all brilliant at taking care of the residents on a daily basis. Doing so with a smile on their faces, even if that's not how they're necessarily feeling.
Thank you to all at Ridley Manor for your hard work each and every day.
Reply from Hayley Devereaux, Reviews Team at Ridley ManorThank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that Maddie made such a positive impression on you from the moment you walked through our doors at Ridley Manor. We completely agree that a warm, smiling welcome sets the tone for a great visit.
I will be sure to pass your incredibly kind words directly to Maddie and our care teams. It means the world to our staff to know their hard work and dedication—even on the tougher days—is noticed and appreciated by our residents' loved ones.
We always strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone who walks through our doors, and it is incredibly rewarding to know that this is what you experience when visiting. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit!
Thank you from the Ridley Manor team

My family and I are incredibly grateful for the care and compassion shown to both my nan and my uncle during their time at Catherine Court. From the very beginning, the team made us feel supported, informed, and reassured during what was an emotional and difficult time.

The staff consistently treated

both of them with genuine kindness, dignity, and respect. It was clear that they truly cared-not just about meeting needs, but about making residents feel comfortable, safe, and valued. The communication with our family was always thoughtful and considerate, which meant a great deal to us.

My uncle had previously spent a year in another care home, and the difference in the level of care at Catherine Court was very noticeable. The standard here was far superior, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing he-and my nan-were in such capable and compassionate hands.

Thank you to the entire team for everything you did. Your kindness will not be forgotten, and we will always be grateful

Very impressed with all the staff at the home. My father who passed away in 2020 was in a care home in Harrow. There was no comparison. The level of care and compassion is off the scale with Denham Manor. I wish we could have placed my father with Chris and his team. His final years would have been
so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Chris for looking after Mary.

Ridley Manor

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother was in the final stages of her life and I needed to move her from the hospital environment to somewhere more comfortable. Sadly Mum's stay at Ridley Manor was shorter than expected but during that short spell she was well looked after which was such a relief for all the family.
I recently
had the opportunity to re visit Ridley Manor as they were hosting a Celebration of Life event. As soon as I walked back through those doors a feeling of welcome and comfort flooded into me, it was an extraordinary feeling of warmth and care. I felt like something had been wrapped around me which allowed my feelings to naturally surface, something I had been struggling with and in so doing I felt an enormous sense of peace.
I knew my Mum had been well cared for in her final days and for that I shall be forever grateful
Reply from Hayley Devereaux, Reviews Team at Ridley ManorDear Pamela thank you very much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review.

We are incredibly moved to read your words and to know that, during what was a very difficult time, our team at Ridley Manor could provide comfort and care to your mother and reassurance to your family. Our goal is to ensure that our residents feel cared for and comfortable, and that is also extended to their families. It was so wonderful to see you and welcome you back to our recent celebration of life an event to remember the residents who have sadly passed. Hearing how as soon as you walked back in that you felt that warmth and care wrap around you truly means the world to us. We strive to create a home where loved ones are honoured and family members are supported in their grief.

We are truly grateful for you kind words and for allowing us to care for your mother. We hope that the memories shared at the event brought you comfort, and know you are welcome anytime.

Many thanks the Ridley Manor team.

From the first contact, I have been truly impressed with the welcoming and efficient nature of Denham Manor.
Every member of staff is friendly and happily makes the time to stop and introduce themselves.
My mother has only been a resident for a few weeks but in this time, with encouragement and
support from all the staff she is changing from being very sad to smiling and even laughing again.
Residents are gently encouraged to join in with daily activities and sit together for meals. I genuinely believe that nothing is too much trouble and all staff seem happy to help or stop to chat for a while, whenever they can.
Denham Manor has a very calm feel which is just what we needed after going through quite a turbulant time. It truly has a home from home feel where everyone cares.
I am also looking forward to exploring the wonderful grounds at Denham Manor as the weather improves.
A huge thank you to Chris and the whole team for the kindness that you have all shown.

Denham Manor was the first home I visited and to be honest I didn't look any further. Chris the manager showed me around initially ,he was so welcoming and answered all of my questions and concerns in a professional and caring manner. I also met with other staff members who were cheerful and friendly.
My mother has been at Denham Manor for the last few weeks and I can't recommend it highly enough. It has such a homely feel about it. The staff are all so caring and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. There are activities available each day, my Mother particularly enjoys doing the puzzles. Last week when I visited it was another resident's birthday and everyone was enjoying an afternoon tea with China cups and saucers and wearing party hats, It was so lovely to see.
I feel extremely relieved that my mother is now safe and in the excellent care of Denham Manor.
Thank you Chris and team.

Mum spent six months at Catherine Court and during that time the care she received was exceptional. As a family we would not have been able to care for her at home and knowing that she was surrounded by carers who were compassionate, caring and kind helped us through a difficult time. Everyone at

General satisfaction, Christmas just passed there was a general faint smell of urine. Fees always seem to increase by the maximum allowable, and the unforeseen caveat seems to have been used more than once in the past 3 years.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Maids Moreton HallI would like to thank you for your feedback regarding Maids Moreton Hall.

The domestic team always strive to ensure the hygiene of the home meets the high standards we hold ourselves to and additional steps are taken to address situations when required. Please be assured that we have taken your feedback on board and this has since been reviewed with planned actions, as discussed with you.

Regarding the fees, I understand that the Home Manager has since discussed this in detail with you, however, if you would like to discuss this again, they would be happy to do so.

I went to view the home looking for a placement for my mother.
It's not the first home I've looked at but have to say by far the best I've come across so far.
Chris the manager was lovely, couldn't do enough to help.
I looked around, went into the dining area and witnessed lunch time activities
going on, again impressed by what I saw.
The home was clean and tidy, the staff welcomed me and appeared lovely and very friendly and caring. Some residents that were in their rooms appeared happy and comfortable. Have to say the feel good feeling won it over for me.

Have been visiting for over 2 months and feel a welcoming homely atmosphere. All staff Ive met in corridors give a cheerful greeting.
I like the daily activities sheet showing what activities and outings are planned.
My only advice observation is the lack of offers of afternoon cuppas which I know
would be adopted by the resident I visit. It concerns me that fluid intake could be inadequate and could result in urinal infections.
I could not comment on the value for money question as have no knowledge of fees but feel sure they should be sufficient to cover the cost of a smiling face. Greeting my friend with a cup of tea in their hand.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Maids Moreton HallThank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback regarding Maids Moreton Hall.
We are pleased to hear that you feel the home has a welcoming and homely atmosphere and that all staff have provided a cheerful greeting.
Your very kind words about our staff are greatly appreciated by the team as they continue to work extremely hard to provide the best quality care to all.
I am sorry to hear about your concerns regarding fluid intake for residents.
We understand that fluid intake is an important aspect to resident health and all staff have received training in this regard.
As part of encouraging fluid intake, the staff complete an afternoon tea, snack and fruit round and continue to provide offers of tea, coffees and other refreshments outside of this within the units and bistro.
We continue to ensure all residents and visitors are aware of this.

From the moment I walked into RM, I felt something special. It wasn't just the beautiful surroundings or warm décor, but a genuine sense of compassion that you notice immediately, even before anyone speaks
Estelle, made a lasting impression. Despite her busy role, she always takes time to listen and
make others feel valued. Her warmth, reassurance, and quiet strength reflect a rare and genuine kindness that comes naturally to her
Even in brief interactions, Gabby makes one feel safe and cared for. The patience, tenderness, and respect she shows residents are deeply moving and offer true reassurance that loved ones are in compassionate hands
Throughout the home every space is clean and welcoming, but it's the people who give it life. The connection between staff and residents, the gentle humour, and small acts of kindness are felt everywhere making time standstill
My visit left me grateful for people like Estelle, Haley, and Gaby and thankful places like RM exist for those we care about
Reply from Hayley Devereaux, Reviews Team at Ridley ManorHi Hira (solicitor Of Resident) Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and detailed reflection of your visit. It is incredibly rewarding to hear that the 'genuine sense of compassion' we strive for was felt from the moment you walked through our doors. We have shared your kind words with the team. Estelle was particularly moved by your comments on her "quiet strength." She truly believes that making someone feel valued is the most important part of her day, no matter how busy it gets.
Gabby was touched to hear that her tenderness and respect provided you with such reassurance. She takes great pride in ensuring every resident feels safe and truly cared for. Hayley also sends her thanks; your recognition of the "small acts of kindness" that give our home life means the world to her and the entire team. Cleanliness and decor are important, but as you beautifully noted, it is the connection and "gentle humour" between staff and residents that truly make Ridley Manor a home. Thank you again for your gratitude and for being such a thoughtful part of our community. We look forward to welcoming you back soon

We have had some experience of other care homes in the past but Maids Moreton Hall exceeds these by far.
The staff are always very helpful, caring and knowledgeable whenever we visit my mother-in-law.
There is a great varied range of activities on offer as well as trips out to cafes, coffee shops
etc which makes a nice treat each week.
The room is of a good size, is clean and well maintained.
Being located in the countryside, there is a lovely garden to enjoy in the warmer months and residents being able walk around it to enjoy the flowers etc.
The food on offer is of a very high standard with a great selection of choice each week.
The communication from the home regarding my mother's health, wellbeing and 'Resident of the day' is excellent as it is good to be kept up to date with what is going on with her.
We are really grateful to all the wonderful staff who combined, give us peace of mind that mum is in the best possible place where she is looked after 24hours a day. Thank you all.

My mother has been at Denham Manor for the past 10 years. Initially she required little care but as her dementia has developed the care received at Denham Manor has been exemplary.
More recently under the management of Chris, a more community feel has developed whereby relatives views are taken into
consideration. With more regular relative and resident meetings it ensures the residents are at the centre of everything they do. Relatives are informed and encouraged to join in activities with their loved ones. For me this is so important as I can continue to make memories with my mum when I appreciate she now barely recognises me.
The local community such as local groups, charities and schools are encouraged to interact with the residents bringing variety into the home.

My Aunt had a fall at home and was taken to hospital. We knew she couldn't return to her home. We decided on Ridley Manor for the following reasons; The staff including manager, nurses, care workers were friendly, caring with dignity those in a lot of need. The room we were shown was nicely furnished
with lovely bed linen. If there are any concerns I can always talk to anyone. It has a nice atmosphere, always something going on as well as quiet areas nicely set out.
Reply from Hayley Devereaux, Reviews Team at Ridley Manorthank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We understand that the transition from a hospital stay to a care home can be a difficult time for any family, and we are so glad that we could be there for you and your aunt during this journey and continue to be so.
Our team from our nurses, care workers, lifestyle, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, reception and management take pride in providing person-centred care that prioritises dignity and compassion for every resident. It is wonderful to hear that you felt the room was nicely furnished with lovely bed linen and that you've enjoyed the balanced atmosphere of the home, with it's mix of engaging activities and peaceful quiet areas.

We truly believe that communication is key, and we are always here whenever you have a concern or just want to chat. We will be sure to share your kind words with the entire team, as it means the world to them to know they have made a difference.

Thank you for your time, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Many thanks the Ridley Manor team
