Catherine Court

We have nothing but positivity for Catharine Court. My brother in law was admitted after a long stint in hospital. He had complex needs but all of these were met with care, kindness and compassion. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Right up until his final moments he was treated with dignity and respect. I would thoroughly recommend CC to anyone looking for loved ones care.

I have nothing but praise for Catherine Court, they took my brother in at short notice and delivered on everything they said they would do. All the staff were kind, caring and nothing was to much trouble to do. The best thing was when unprompted my brother said "I like it here the staff are really nice"

The staff are welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent too.

As a relative of a resident, it was abundantly clear that all the team members at Catherine Court cared about my relative as a person. They took the time to get to know them to truly understand them, how to talk to them, to make sure they were always included in activities. The care the team members afforded my relative showed respect, and enabled them to feel at home and be calm, minimising their anxiety. Towards the end, the team ensured that in their passing, they were comfortable and the transition was peaceful. I thank all the team members at Catherine Court for everything they have done and continue to do.

Management are always available should you have any concerns or extra requirements.

Our mum has been in Catherine Court for a couple of months following a stroke and our experience has far surpassed what we were hoping for. The home itself, the staff & their kindness & concern for her welfare & their efforts to meet any of her specific needs or requests has been excellent. A huge amount of effort & energy is clearly put into making residents time enjoyable. We appreciate so many aspects of Catherine Court in what has been a challenging time for my mum & her family.

My husband has dementia and I was really worried he would find the transition upsetting and difficult. He surprised us all by settling really quickly. And the team got to know him and his needs very early on. I really appreciate the consistency of the team there are no new faces every week and my husband has bonded very well with them and some of the other residents. He enjoys the space and the freedom he is given to move if he wants to. They try very hard to stimulate and engage him in activities and always open to suggestions or any concerns. He is happy and well looked after and that is an enormous relief for me. It is not an easy job looking after the vast variation of complexities that dementia and lack of mobility has but The team at Catherine Court manage it very well.

My family and I are incredibly grateful for the care and compassion shown to both my nan and my uncle during their time at Catherine Court. From the very beginning, the team made us feel supported, informed, and reassured during what was an emotional and difficult time.

The staff consistently treated both of them with genuine kindness, dignity, and respect. It was clear that they truly cared-not just about meeting needs, but about making residents feel comfortable, safe, and valued. The communication with our family was always thoughtful and considerate, which meant a great deal to us.

My uncle had previously spent a year in another care home, and the difference in the level of care at Catherine Court was very noticeable. The standard here was far superior, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing he-and my nan-were in such capable and compassionate hands.

They were very kind and helpful,very clean and i am very happy with the care she received, and the food has a good choice. My mother inlaw is bed bound she has not complained about the staff or the food to me and she settled in very well.

Mum spent six months at Catherine Court and during that time the care she received was exceptional. As a family we would not have been able to care for her at home and knowing that she was surrounded by carers who were compassionate, caring and kind helped us through a difficult time. Everyone at the home puts the residents first, nothing is too much trouble and they are even concerned for the families welfare. Thank you to the entire team who made mum's stay comfortable.

My mum Jean has only been at Cathrine court care home for a short while after a traumatic stay in hospital for 7 weeks , it's not a easy decision to have to make putting mum in to permanent care it's tough, however we needn't have worried it's the best thing that we've had to do for mum and for us , the 24 hour care she receives is second to none the staff are so polite and helpful nothings to much. We see mum every day and we're kept up to date about all her care needs. ( BRILLIANT)

After a very difficult time at Hospital, My husband Nigel was transferred to Catherine Court and from day 1 things started to get better. He has had nothing but kindness and patience and her loves it here. We hope that he will continue to remain here for what time he has left. I personally have nothing but praise and admiration for the work they do here at Catherine Court.

I highly recommend this care home, it truly is a wonderful place for extremely vulnerable and fragile people. All residents as far as I have seen are treated with respect and dignity, they are cared for very well and with compassion and skill. We have complete confidence in the senior team who are extremely good at communicating with the family and understanding the complexities of the residents.

My gran has been under the care of Catherine Court for nearly two years now. As a family we are so thankful that we chose Catherine Court. It is clear this is a vocation for the staff, their kindness and efficient communication has put our family at ease, knowing she is in well-trained hands! The home is well-equipped, it is clean and most importantly safe for my gran. It felt like a fortunate turn of events when my gran was moved to Catherine Court and as a care home, they continue to excel themselves!

Mum has been here for 18 months, and the whole experience has been a breath of fresh air after the trials & tribulations of the last dementia home. Even the transition was managed well, with the absolute minimum of drama.

I could not wish for a better place for Mum to be. My (ongoing) sincere thanks to all the staff and management for their love and care.
