View Full Details of Catherine CourtMy gran has been under the care of Catherine Court for nearly two years now. As a family we are so thankful that we chose Catherine Court. It is clear this is a vocation for the staff, their kindness and efficient communication has put our family at ease, knowing she is in well-trained hands! The home is well-equipped, it is clean and most importantly safe for my gran. It felt like a fortunate turn of events when my gran was moved to Catherine Court and as a care home, they continue to excel themselves!
I cannot recommend Catherine Court enough. Excellent building and equipment, prompt & efficient communication, plentiful & caring staff, and committed & compassionate manager. The food is even very presentable ! Mum has been here for 18 months, and the whole experience has been a breath of fresh air after the trials & tribulations of the last dementia home. Even the transition was managed well, with the absolute minimum of drama.
My brother and I had to move our Mum in Feb 24 to a new care home, as the previous home had closed. Mum was 96 then, so we were really concerned about a move of home. I am so grateful to Catherine Court for their care and kindness and for removing those fears. Catherine Court is so much better than the previous home, in terms of care for Mum, kindness, efficiency, communication and visiting. I could not wish for a better place for Mum to be. My (ongoing) sincere thanks to all the staff and management for their love and care.
Top care home excellent care from day 1 staff are so caring and helpful nothing too much trouble All home cooked food by a chef who is a class act I personally can find no faults with the care our mother receives she is treated so well and loves living here
Excellent care home, my grandmother resides here, management are amazing,. My grandmother has been here about 5 months now and loves it here, the food is great, the care is outstanding. Great team and atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. Communication is always done well, and we are always informed of everything along the way. Thank you Catherine Court!!!!
Like most families there is always an element of doubt that you are doing the right thing when you place a loved one into a care home. I needn't have worried as the staff and facilities at this home are second to none. My mum is getting the best of care and the staff are kind and compassionate. Knowing that she is safe and happy is such a blessing.
The team provide great care and support to my Nan. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. We are provided with daily updates on care requirements and made to feel very welcome when we visit. Thank you.
Mum is 101yrs & moved into Catherine Court 6 months ago, it is an excellent care home. All the team are lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them. Myself & my family felt this from the first time we stepped inside the door & the communication is constant. Mum has Vascular Dementia which has been hard on the family but the staff deal with it so wonderfully, they have taken the pressure off of my shoulders & given me that precious time back with mum.
A friendly well run care home. My 91 year old father has been a resident for the last 18 months and is looked after very well. I now don't have to worry as I know he is safe, clean and well fed. Thank you
Very excellent care home, my husband resides here, management is wonderful. My husband always says he loves it here, he says the food is great. Great team and atmosphere, everyone is accommodating. Communication is always done, and I am highlighted along the way.
The care here has been exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and my father's care has been wonderful since he came to Catherine Court. Thank you to all the care team who made my Dad's stay so easy.
I am very pleased with the nursing care person provided by Catherine Court. My brother has been at Catherine Court since April and the family is very pleased with the care and consideration given by the staff. My brother was in and out of hospital but since he has been at the care home he has not had as many infections. He has gained weight and looks much better in himself.
The most difficult decision in your life is to realise it is time to find a placement in a care home for your loved one. My husband has had Alzheimer's for eight years, I was recommended to Catherine Court by two friends and I am forever grateful. The manager and deputy manager were wonderful to me through my darkest time. They are very professional, caring, and supportive to both clients and families. The carers are so giving with their knowledge, kindness and patience with their clients and are treated like family. The nurses provide you with full confidence in caring for your loved one. Catherine Court is spotless, cleaned every day and more so if required. The meals provided are healthy and nourishing and no shortage. The building and gardens are beautifully maintained. One could not ask for more when releasing your loved one to the care of others. My husband requires one-to-one care so is quite demanding but I know he is in safe caring hands.
My wife has been a resident at this nursing home since 2013. She has advanced Alzheimer's disease and has been bedridden and unable to communicate for several years. The care she is receiving is excellent. She is provided with an air mattress, her skin has remained intact and she has never had bedsores which is a credit to the home. She is now on a pureed diet and on her recent birthday the home was kind enough to make her an individual pureed birthday cake as well as a large cake for all the other residents in the dementia unit to share. It is far from clear that she understands what is happening but the carers and nursing staff are very attentive to her needs and keep me informed of any health issues she may have straight away.
The home is very well-kept. The staff is just lovely and so caring not only to the residents but also to extend family giving you support whenever you need it. My mother has always been very happy in the home and I know that she is safe and well cared for at all times nothing is too much trouble.
My 99-year-old father-in-law's 24-hour dementia care needs have been provided by a dedicated group of staff since November 2023 in Windsor Unit. We had an option of respite care but following a guided tour of the unit and an assessment of his needs during a home visit by the deputy manager, my wife and I concluded that her father's health and social care needs will be best met in a 24-hour residential setting rather than in his own home, even with 4 or 5 daily calls from domiciliary care staff. We have actively monitored his personalised care through regular telephone contacts and during regular weekly visit with our West Highland Terrier, who has been 'adopted' as a therapy dog by the residents. We have also been actively involved in a very detailed review of his care plan. Based on our experience so far, we feel confident that Windsor Unit will continue to be able to meet his future needs. All the staff on the unit, the manager and the deputy manager are very open and welcoming.
Thank you so much for the care you have all provided to my grandmother. We feel she has been looked after so well, and her needs are met and she is comfortable and safe. We all really appreciate your hard work and feel relieved that she is looked after so well. This is a challenging time, and thank you all for your hard work.
I am very happy with the care my husband is receiving. All the staff are courteous and respectful to the residents and their visitors. The standard of cleanliness is very good as everywhere is very clean, all bed linen is spotless and rooms are cleaned daily. My husband is showered regularly and his clothes are clean every day. There are a lot of activities and entertainment for the residents.
My wife has severe dementia coupled with dysphasia (inability to speak coherently) and has been in Catherine Court for six years, in all that time she has received outstanding care from all the carers and nurses, the management team continues to get stronger and are always there to listen to issues or problems, the carers do a job that I personally could never do and have my heartfelt thanks for looking after my wife so well.
My husband moved into the care home for nursing care. I am really happy with the care he is provided. The home manager has supported myself to enable my husband to have his own recliner chair, which allows my husband a better quality of life. Food is lovely. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.
