The home is obviously well managed and organised, the rooms and corridors are spacious and comfortable.

But it is the staff that make Ambleside, they are simply wonderful. Caring, considerate and cheerful, despite what must sometimes be
Onerous tasks they have to perform everyday.. Thank you all.

I spent 3+ weeks in Arkall Manir on Respite Care and cannot fault them at all. You just need to ask the Chef for something if it's not on the menu and he will always do his very best to prepare this. He usually succeeds.
The food is freshly cooked and hot when it needs to be and served on proper plates.
Cups and saucers on the tables and everywhere spotlessly clean.
The carers are all friendly and will always help if you need help.
I had my hair cut in the little salon and one day did easy exercises to music I could sing along to, just my era. It was planned for residents of my age group, those who lived through the 60's.
With a little notice, my visitors were also given lunch.
I give them my very best thanks for caring for me.

We're very pleased to leave a glowing review for Kenilworth Grange. Dad has been a resident there now for a few months and has settled in really well. It's s super-caring and friendly place, and all the staff and carers do a fantastic job. He recently had an in-patient hospital appointment, and before
he went his carer gave him a big hug, and on his return in the evening several people were waiting to ask how it went, and they'd kept some food for him as he missed evening meal. That's just an example of how friendly they all are. The day-to-day running is very smooth and professional as well as caring. Dad really does feel like he's in _his_ home, not just _a_ home.

My wife was admitted with LBDementia quite late on.
The staff are very caring although my wife at times is difficult.
They are very supportive and accommodating
Her bedroom is comfortable and homely with
very clean en-suite toilet. All in all I don't think she could be in a better place.

The staff at Kenilworth Grange are friendly and caring. There is always a drink and something to eat on hand for visitors. The food is cooked on the premises and is tasty and wholesome. The environs are clean as are the residents. Nursing care is constant and issues are addressed immediately when brought
up.

Mum has been in Ambleside for 6weeks now, has really settled in well. I am so pleased to see a real change in her, she has had a very difficult year especially the last 6months. Loosing her husband of 74years dealing with ill health and numerous trips to hospital. At last she can relax and let all
the very kind staff look after her, which they do right from management, all carers, kitchen staff, and of course the kind maintenance man and gardener man who waves to her when he passes her window. She participates in the activities which the home put on again by very hard working staff.
She has had a change of room, now in a lovely newly decorated and all new furniture, the staff concern moved all her possessions, the family did not have to worry about anything.
Finally I would really recommend their coffee and cake station a lovely touch.
Reply from Staci Reeson, Reviews Team at AmblesideThank you very much for taking the time to leave a review, we are very happy that mum has settled in so well, your family are a fantastic addition to ours here at Ambleside. It has been a real pleasure to get to know you all. We will see you in the Bistro for coffee and cake very soon.

My husband has been in Kenilworth Grange for the last 3 yrs and is very settled there. The Carers are always on call and treat him with dignity. The Nurses are excellent and are very patient and chatty with him. He has a very healthy appetite and enjoys the food there, especially the full breakfast
every morning. There are lots of activities each day and they are very varied.

My Mother moved to Priors House from hospital this week and their efficiency made the move very easy and straight forward. She stayed at Priors House for respite several years ago and we were impressed by the care and facilities provided which is why my Mother was delighted to be able to now find a
permeant place there. She has moved into a refurbished room with brand new fittings and furnishings

My mum stayed here for a month in respite care following a fall and some time in hospital. The staff were wonderful - friendly, caring and attentive. The food and cleanliness were excellent and activities were plentiful. She was made welcome to join in everything from singing, dominoes, and church services
to arts and crafts. Boris the house cat also made a wonderful addition! I know she'll be welcome to visit her friends she made there again. Thank you all

Mum has just moved to Priors House this week. During our tours, Sarah did a fantastic job answering all of our questions and showing us all of the facilities to help inform and reassure us. Once we decided that this would be the perfect home for Mum, her assessment was booked in within 24 hours and
Mum was transferred within three days of this decision. Mum was not stressed on arrival and was greeted with positivity and a friendly smile. They had even provided a welcome basket of goodies for her, which was a lovely touch. Our Mum is genuinely excited to enjoy the facilities and all that Priors House has to offer
Reply from Sarah Mitchell, Reviews Team at Priors HouseThank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that your experience with Priors House has been so positive and that your mum's move went smoothly. It's wonderful to know that Sarah and the team helped make the process reassuring and stress-free, and that your mum felt so warmly welcomed on arrival. We are thrilled that she's excited to enjoy everything Priors House has to offer and we look forward to supporting her as she settles in and becomes part of our community.
