I am very impressed and pleased with the treatment, care, the way they handle my husband who is not the easiest to cope with. All the staff our very polite and helpfull. The areas are clean and bright. But what I'm impressed with most is that nothing is hidden, I could come in at midnight as have codes. This also impressed the family. Full marks to all.

The staff are always extremely friendly + welcoming and their gentle + patient approach towards residents is obvious. My mother-in-law's general health + demeanour is clear proof of the excellent care she is receiving.

My sister has only been here for a short while but is settling quite happily. The staff are very caring. The food, she loves.

My mother was moved into Acacia Lodge, early 2026 since then her confidence and well being has improved greatly. I firmly believe this is solely down to the excellent care and facilities Acacia Lodge offer. She has a lovely room, great food, several friends but most of all fantastic care and compassion from all the staff on a 24hr basis. There is entertainment every week, several times and outings to suit weather all round, my mother could not possibly be better treated.

My grandmother Anne is a resident at Acacia lodge. Everyone there is so kind and helpful with her. It is an unfortunate place for her to be in but with all things considered she is in safe hands at acacia lodge.

New here but like it very much

My brother arrived at Seccombe Court in May after hip replacement surgery and a recent diagnosis of Alzheimer's. He had lived on his own for several years so didn't find socializing easy. At first my Brother was very unsettled and resistant to be at the home but the staff reassured us this was normal and helped in every way they could to make him feel welcome and most importantly safe. He has now been there for four months and the difference in him is remarkable. There is one member of staff I must mention and her name is Rosemary who is one of the event coordinators, she made a wish come true for my Brother and arranged for him to be a passenger on a motorbike after discovering he used to ride one in his younger days. He was totally overwhelmed with the day and to see him so happy was priceless. Thank you to all for looking after him so well. .

Dad, who has Alzheimer's , has been with Highmarket since March 2026. He has settled in extremely well and has taken to all activities offered to him. We are happy to see he is safe, well looked after and very happy. We couldn't ask for more.

Very pleased with Stowford House. Great communications and all staff from management down are very caring, approachable and seem to genuinely care about all the residents. No request is ever too great.

My mother was admitted to Highmarket House after a fall earlier this year. She had already been diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia but had previously been living at home with the help of carers. Initially we (my sister and I) thought her stay might be temporary but soon realised that she would not be able to go home and as she had settled well, made friends and the staff were so friendly it became clear that this was the right place for her. She has a lovely room overlooking a park and having moved some of her pictures and belongings in it feels homely. Facilities are good including a small cinema, recently refurbished cafe and hairdressers as well as activities to help keep her entertained and stimulated. It is reassuring to know she is so well cared for.

My husband came to C L for 2 week respite. First week went well but had to be admitted to hospital at the end of 2 weeks. The staff were amazing + could not do enough for him. We booked 2 more weeks. Staff are kind + caring. He had help with all personal things and they were able to help him to drink and eat more. He has dementia and I would certainly recommend this care home.

My father has been resident at Cuttlebrook Hall for just a month. He has settled in well thanks to the friendly team that assist him on a daily basis.My experience has been similar and obviously being very apprehensive initially we are now happy Dad is in very safe hands and would definitely recommended this home to others

They have supported my father with great kindness and dignity. Kept me informed of his medical and emotional state with regular correspondence. They are very welcoming to any visitors and include them in the activities organised.

During the eleven months my husband has been resident at Seccombe Court, he has received excellent care and attention. The staff are friendly - pleasant - I feel confident - happy that he is receiving the best treatment possible.

Betty did not want to go into a care home, however after 2 or 3 days she started to enjoy staying here. The staff are all very caring she enjoys the flexibility and the company of other residents. After a long period of resistance the home is perfect for her although she says she misses her home, but she is very happy, and far more settled.

Welcoming team, friendly staff and though our relative wasn't here long - her care was very good - no concerns.

Unable to write too much due to stroke damage but overall excellent experience

We have really appreciated the kindness and care so many different staff at Abbeycrest have shown to my dad since he arrived here. It was also really reassuring that the manager went to meet my dad before hand to check the care needs could met. I also really appreciate how much effort the nursing staff gave to ensure they had all the medical information from the hospital which was missing on arrival. On each visit we regularly see the same staff which really helps with continuity and its so reassuring to know the staff know each resident and their care needs so well.
