Since Mum moved into the home I have felt she has been cared for in a friendly yet professional manner. Her care has been centred around her needs. It has been compassionate, responsive and well led. Mum has responded well to the care givers and is always grateful for their support which helps her
to be safe, clean and less anxious.
She has always been treated with dignity and respect. The staff, from the management and administrative team, care and activity teams, housekeepers and catering staff all seem to know her name and mine. They are always welcoming and friendly.
The atmosphere in the home is very happy and welcoming to both residents and visitors. Staff have been extremely helpful and responsive when I have had queries about the care. They have been a real support to me as I have transitioned from the responsibility of being the main carer to more of a support act.
Overall it has been a very positive and reassuring experience to see Mum become settled at Seccombe Court.

My mother came into Seccombe Court in June 2023 when her dementia got to the point where we couldn't cope at home. Later in October 23 my father came in for end of life care.
The ambiance is fantastic and the place is like a five star hotel.
Staff have been fantastic throughout and, firstly when my
father died, and then when my mother died (in April 2025) the combination of professionalism and compassion shown, made the process so much easier.
Cannot praise the place and staff highly enough.

After a period of live-in care at home, we took the difficult decision to move my father into a residential care home. We selected Seccombe Court as it relatively close to where Dad lived and is a modern, well appointed facilty, very conveniently located with great parking and easy access.
As a family
we discussed at length the features that we thought Dad would benefit from and I have to say that we have been overjoyed at how accessible everything is for him.
His room, the building, the shared areas, gardens, furnishings are all super high quality and for him it is like being in an all inclusive resort, but better. All of the staff that he has come into contact have been just so friendly and so welcoming. They have gone above and beyond to help him settle and their genuine kindness and compassion for my dad is heartwarming to say the least.
He constantly tells me that the food is top class and I'm sure he is putting weight on.
Seccombe Court has been a first class choice for us.

I'm writing to praise all the staff working at Seccombe Court, My mum sadly had a fall last year meaning that she was unable to return to her own home. We chose Seccombe Court first of all as a rest-bite holiday but then she made the choice to stay. Recently she has celebrated her 100th birthday. Seccombe
Court not only gave her a party on her actual birthday with cake, bunting and balloons! but, allowed her relatives to have a party on site a few days later. All the staff were so happy and willing to arrange all that we suggested and fun was had by all. Considering that Seccombe Court is now mums home we couldn't have asked for more. Well Done Seccombe Court. Gold stars all round.

My wife entered Seccombe Court 3O months ago, suffering from parkinsons and dementia and I visit on a very regular basis. I have found all of the staff to be both competent and friendly. They clearly from each resident's character and needs and provide excellent and sympathetic care and attention. This
demonstrates effective recruitment and training, creating a very cohesive organisation. Staff have been very helpful to me and my family, keeping us informed and providing support in dealing with the NHS. Facilities at Seccombe Court are excellent and regular and varied activities are provided for the residents.
I could not have wished for better care for my wife.

During the 5 years Mum was a resident, every member of the team took time to know her so well. She was exceptionally well looked after, their love and care was outstanding,
From Management, Carers, Nurses, Housekeepers, Maintenance, Kitchen Staff, Reception and Admin, everyone was always so warm,
friendly, caring and kind.
A beautiful home with lovely gardens, like home from home.
We couldn't have wished for more comfort and support, particularly during challenging times, they followed our wishes exactly as we asked.

At Seccombe Court all staff (carers, nurses, domestic, and administrators) are welcoming, friendly, caring, and accommodating with any requests.
Residents have a full and varied programme of optional pastimes and activities and can be as social or private as they wish.
The building and grounds are
superb for safe, independent immobilising, providing plenty of freedom. All are well-maintained and very comfortable.

My 92-year-old mother has been a resident since April 2024, initially an emergency respite placement following a flood at her home and her carers stating they could no longer provide the care needed, this was meant to be temporary whilst I made arrangements for her to be closer to me (it is a 208-mile
round trip to my mother's house) but from the initial home visit for an assessment of her dementia and needs to the day I took her there for lunch and left her chatting to the the staff, it has been a very positive experience for Mum and me. I can turn up on any day, at any time to find all staff treating every single resident with compassion, love, laughter and patience. Individual needs and preferences are taken into account, staff really want to get to know your relative. They have arranged external medical and dental visits for her and keep me informed of any issues and it is a joy to see photos of her engaging in the activities. I am reassured that my mother is in the best place.

The staff at Seccombe Court are without exception excellent. My brother made the difficult transition to Insulin dependency during this month involving nighttime visits from the staff to measure sugar levels etc. The care and compassion of the staff made this much easier than anticipated and together
with their cooperation, a change in diet too has resulted in a great drop in his previously high sugar levels. My brother is now in a better situation both mentally and physically.

My father is very mixed up and very difficult at times. He is extremely well looked after, always clean and tidy and several of the staff defiantly go the extra mile and beyond.

Seccombe Court is an outstanding care home. My husband was beautifully looked after in the happy atmosphere at Daisy Meadow, where the Nurses and Carers treated him with respect and enormous kindness. The GP must also be congratulated when he went out of his way to explain medical details to us as my
husband was nearing the end of his life, and the staff could not have been more supportive during his final days.

My father moved to Seccombe Court shortly before his death, as I was becoming increasingly concerned about his health and well-being whilst living alone in Norfolk. The care and support the team on Daisy Meadow offered were second to none. Not only was Dad adopted into the home, but the support I was
given was also exceptional. No one could have foreseen that my father would pass so suddenly, and the care and compassion the entire staff demonstrated was very well received.

The staff at Seccombe Court looked after my mother with great care and compassion during her stay there. She was very elderly and found the transition from living on her own difficult, but the staff tried very hard to make her comfortable and provide her with everything she needed. They are friendly
and approachable and were very patient with Mum as they tried to help her settle in. The building and gardens are modern and well cared for, and the location on the edge of the village with plenty of parking is most convenient. I would definitely recommend it.

The staff at Seccombe Court provide outstanding care for my mother. She is treated with dignity and respect at all times. The team are unfailingly supportive of her and our family. This level of care applies on a daily basis, but during a recent severe illness, my mother was given the highest possible
level of care, love and attention by all of the staff - we truly believe that this saved her life. The leadership of the management team of Seccombe Court is significant in the provision of such high levels of care, and we have absolute confidence in the team.

My mother was cared for by the exceptional staff at Seccombe Court following a severe stroke which left her severely physically disabled. She required a high level of care and it was administered with kindness and her dignity was respected at all times. The advice I received was first class and the
warmth that we both experienced was ever present. They have an extremely tough job and they perform it with skill and a smile. My mother’s visitors were always made welcome and more often than not a cuppa and cake is on offer. The food is excellent, as are the facilities and activities. Dogs are considered VIPs!

Seccombe Court is now home to my 101 year old Aunt. Fabulous treatment, beautiful surroundings. Excellent care and facilities. The staff are very caring, considerate, thoughtful with good management. We look forward to seeing you all again when next we visit Aunty.

I’ve been a General Manager for over ten years in other care homes. I worked my way up from care roles into management. I originally trained in management and marketing in my native Poland.


I was very positive about working for Care UK because it has a great reputation, and puts residents at the heart of everything it does. Its values of Caring, Passionate and Teamwork closely echo my own.


There’s always something new to learn and to tackle in this role, but there’s a solution to every challenge and, ultimately, seeing residents enjoying life here at Seccombe Court is what makes everything worthwhile.
