I have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, under what must sometimes be frustrating circumstances. The home itself is light, airy and with plenty of different places to explore, with lots of open spaces to sit outside. I would live here myself should the need arise!

I spent two weeks here following knee replacement surgery. The care which I received was second to none. Initially, I needed help with dressing and washing due to severe pain. This was done with respect, kindness and humour. The staff were so cheerful, friendly, empathetic and encouraging. They supported me through every stage of a quite painful recovery process, encouraging me when I felt overwhelmed.
I felt that I was part of a caring family inside a good hotel Nothing was too much trouble. Their pleasure when ai began to walk again was wonderful.
A really holistic approach which enabled me to meet with two other residents known to me.
Thank you Seccombe Court .
Beautiful surroundings. Amazingly clean. Lovely positive atmosphere.

Excellent delivery of all prescribed medicines.

My Dad stayed at Seccombe Court in Banbury for the last 3 years. He had incredible care there. The staff are all amazing and there is a real community spirit where everyone feels welcome. Dad was always clean and well cared for as well as being included in lots of great activities. My mum also benefitted from being involved in these activities too. I can't praise this home highly enough.

When my husband needed more care than could be provided at home I looked for the best I could find. The whole ambiance of the home is of welcome , warmth and inclusion.Every resident is treated as an individual according to their needs and wishes.Their room made to feel personal and homely.Relatives and friends can visit at any time. All the facilities are first class with the safety, security.availability and usage of all residents uppermost. Activities and events are numerous and of widespread interest.. The standard of care is excellent and whilst my husband was at Seccombe Court everything possible was provided and done to help him cope with the developing challenges of his illness. Underpinning all of the above are the entire staff who became like a "second family" supporting both my husband and myself. Everyone is a part of the whole team and all deserve a special commendation for how they carry out their responsibilities.

I would choose S.C. if I ever need care for myself.

What an amazing place!!!!!
Finding the next step for yourself or a loved one is always a challenging process. So many options and places to choose from...
And we found this one, the buzz of warmth and happiness as you walk through the door and sets it apart immediately.
The residential experience only confirmed this with a wonderful, caring, team for whom nothing is too much trouble. Combine that with there always being something going on (days out, morning and afternoon activities every day) providing a happy, rich and stimulating place to live.

A perfect place to spend time with mum (or take her out with plenty to see nearby) and be completely confident in the outstanding care she receives.

My husband has been a resident of Seccombe Court since March 2025. Someone more independent and reluctant to enter a care home would be hard to find, so it is remarkable how well he has settled in. Factors contributing to this include the purpose built premises in a pleasant location, with plenty of natural light, and spacious rooms and corridors. Needless to say, of greater importance is the quality of care, and Seccombe Court has a delightful team, including frontline carers, nurses and those who organise the entertainment programme, ably supported by the receptionists, kitchen and hospitality teams and housekeeping staff, underpinned compassionately by members of the management team. I'm not the only relative who speaks so highly of the service here. I spend as much time as I can with my husband and feel very cared for myself as well.

From the moment I walked into Seccombe Court for the first time you could just sense the relaxed atmosphere and friendliness. The reception area (The Bistro) looks more like a top hotel in appearance with modern luxurious sofas and fittings. A mini library has a really wide selection of books and daily newspapers are there to be read. The wonderful coffee machine has a wide choice of drinks from Expresso to hot chocolate and all complimentary together with a wide range of home made cakes and snacks .
The rooms at Seccombe court are all modern and spacious with room to have your own personal items of furniture and soft

However the best thing about Seccombe Court is the staff. They are the best. They go the extra mile with all the residents and have so much patience. It is the staff that create the wonderful atmosphere here. They all acknowledge you by name and always have a smile for you. Could not have chosen anywhere better for my wife.

This amazing care home has been a lifeline to me during my husbands stay there for 8 months. They have given me back my husband as he was! He went in traumatised by several bereavements and poor mobility and he is so much improved in himself! He has been moved to another care uk home by social services- the move was unsettling as everything was strange and new but I trust that he will have the continued excellent care there as he gets used to his new surroundings!

Since Mum moved into the home I have felt she has been cared for in a friendly yet professional manner. Her care has been centred around her needs. It has been compassionate, responsive and well led. Mum has responded well to the care givers and is always grateful for their support which helps her to be safe, clean and less anxious.
She has always been treated with dignity and respect. The staff, from the management and administrative team, care and activity teams, housekeepers and catering staff all seem to know her name and mine. They are always welcoming and friendly.
The atmosphere in the home is very happy and welcoming to both residents and visitors. Staff have been extremely helpful and responsive when I have had queries about the care. They have been a real support to me as I have transitioned from the responsibility of being the main carer to more of a support act.

Overall it has been a very positive and reassuring experience to see Mum become settled at Seccombe Court.

My mother came into Seccombe Court in June 2023 when her dementia got to the point where we couldn't cope at home. Later in October 23 my father came in for end of life care.
The ambiance is fantastic and the place is like a five star hotel.
Staff have been fantastic throughout and, firstly when my father died, and then when my mother died (in April 2025) the combination of professionalism and compassion shown, made the process so much easier.

Cannot praise the place and staff highly enough.

After a period of live-in care at home, we took the difficult decision to move my father into a residential care home. We selected Seccombe Court as it relatively close to where Dad lived and is a modern, well appointed facilty, very conveniently located with great parking and easy access.
As a family we discussed at length the features that we thought Dad would benefit from and I have to say that we have been overjoyed at how accessible everything is for him.
His room, the building, the shared areas, gardens, furnishings are all super high quality and for him it is like being in an all inclusive resort, but better. All of the staff that he has come into contact have been just so friendly and so welcoming. They have gone above and beyond to help him settle and their genuine kindness and compassion for my dad is heartwarming to say the least.
He constantly tells me that the food is top class and I'm sure he is putting weight on.

Seccombe Court has been a first class choice for us.

I'm writing to praise all the staff working at Seccombe Court, My mum sadly had a fall last year meaning that she was unable to return to her own home. We chose Seccombe Court first of all as a rest-bite holiday but then she made the choice to stay. Recently she has celebrated her 100th birthday. Seccombe Court not only gave her a party on her actual birthday with cake, bunting and balloons! but, allowed her relatives to have a party on site a few days later. All the staff were so happy and willing to arrange all that we suggested and fun was had by all. Considering that Seccombe Court is now mums home we couldn't have asked for more. Well Done Seccombe Court. Gold stars all round.

My wife entered Seccombe Court 3O months ago, suffering from parkinsons and dementia and I visit on a very regular basis. I have found all of the staff to be both competent and friendly. They clearly from each resident's character and needs and provide excellent and sympathetic care and attention. This demonstrates effective recruitment and training, creating a very cohesive organisation. Staff have been very helpful to me and my family, keeping us informed and providing support in dealing with the NHS. Facilities at Seccombe Court are excellent and regular and varied activities are provided for the residents.

I could not have wished for better care for my wife.

From Management, Carers, Nurses, Housekeepers, Maintenance, Kitchen Staff, Reception and Admin, everyone was always so warm, friendly, caring and kind.
A beautiful home with lovely gardens, like home from home.
We couldn't have wished for more comfort and support, particularly during challenging times, they followed our wishes exactly as we asked.

My 92-year-old mother has been a resident since April 2024, initially an emergency respite placement following a flood at her home and her carers stating they could no longer provide the care needed, this was meant to be temporary whilst I made arrangements for her to be closer to me (it is a 208-mile round trip to my mother's house) but from the initial home visit for an assessment of her dementia and needs to the day I took her there for lunch and left her chatting to the the staff, it has been a very positive experience for Mum and me. I can turn up on any day, at any time to find all staff treating every single resident with compassion, love, laughter and patience. Individual needs and preferences are taken into account, staff really want to get to know your relative. They have arranged external medical and dental visits for her and keep me informed of any issues and it is a joy to see photos of her engaging in the activities. I am reassured that my mother is in the best place.

I’ve been a General Manager for over ten years in other care homes. I worked my way up from care roles into management. I originally trained in management and marketing in my native Poland.

I was very positive about working for Care UK because it has a great reputation, and puts residents at the heart of everything it does. Its values of Caring, Passionate and Teamwork closely echo my own.

There’s always something new to learn and to tackle in this role, but there’s a solution to every challenge and, ultimately, seeing residents enjoying life here at Seccombe Court is what makes everything worthwhile.
