Every single time that I have visited I have been welcomed by the staff. Nothing has been too much for them. They were considerate to my friend, and very patient with her. When she passed away they were respectful and so very caring to both her and myself. I am truly grateful for their kindness and
support. I would thoroughly recommend the home to anybody. It is worth every single penny.

Seccombe Court has the feel of staying at a hotel. The standard of care, facilities and accommodation is very high. The staff are very caring and thoughtful and they treat residents with respect, and there is always a hug and a smile. There is good consistency of staff on the dementia unit which I believe
is important for those with dementia. The variety of activities is excellent and even if Mum doesn’t remember what she has done, she remembers the way it makes her feel.

Both my parents are in Seccombe Court and love being there. During their stay, there have been ups and downs in their health, and they, my brother and sisters and I have found the staff caring, considerate and professional. We are very happy that both our parents have settled in and made Seccombe Court

I just wanted to personally thank all of the carers and staff at Seccomb House who looked after my mum. Their kindness to my mum and the support they have given us was amazing. A special thank you to the staff who kept our spirits up in the final days. She is laid to rest now. My mum was very lucky

I cannot praise the staff at Seccombe too highly, from the kitchen staff and laundry staff to care assistants and nursing staff, reception team and management; the treatment my dad has received has been exemplary. Dad has multiple co-morbidities, but the staff treat him with respect and dignity at all
times. One of my biggest concerns was about continuity of care, Dad likes to build a relationship with his caregivers, but at Seccombe, I need not have worried. Dad has a regular team who looks after him, and he has built a strong and honest relationship with each member of staff. This is important, as elderly folk need to feel safe and reassured - Seccombe provides this constantly. The activities arranged are varied and not demeaning or childish but more embracing the knowledge and experience of the residents. If a problem does arise, for example, a dietary need - it is swiftly and promptly dealt with in a professional and responsive manner. Seccombe has worked their magic for my wonderful dad.

My father has been a resident at Seccombe Court for three months. The home is superb. The staff could not be kinder or more caring. Every department does its utmost to make his life there happy, comfortable and stimulated. He and I are very pleased with everything. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

My mother has been a resident at Seccombe for four months now and has physical and medical issues, as well as accelerating dementia. Since a significant hospital stay a couple of months ago, her condition has become more challenging. The staff have done all they can to support and respond to her changing
needs. The care staff are extremely patient and encouraging when she is being uncooperative, emotional and distressed. We are very grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the care she receives and the friendly welcome that we experience every time we visit.

From my initial contact with Seccombe Court, I felt I was in safe and competent hands in respect of caring service to my mother. Everyone I spoke to and met gave me confidence that the Court would look after my mother very well. On my first visit, I was impressed by the facilities throughout the home,
including the garden areas which my mother would be able to enjoy. I was also pleased to see that the home would provide a range of activities in which my mother could participate. Whilst my mother's stay at the Court was sadly short, I was not let down in any respect, given my initial views. I met a number of members of staff who had dealings with my mother and who, without fail, went out of their way to care for her in a compassionate, respectful and professional manner. It is an exceptional organisation.

An excellent care home, whom I cannot recommend highly enough.
Management is professional and friendly, and all the team at Seccombe Court are exceptional at what they do. The carers and nurses are very friendly, compassionate and responsive to the needs of my father, who is in full nursing care. They
are very communicative and on the ball when providing care and ensuring Dad is well looked after.
The environment is comfortable, rooms are a good size and well set up, whilst the food seems excellent.

The staff and management were brilliant to my mother-in-law, who needed urgent respite care following a flood. They organised care and room very quickly considering the issues. The room is spacious and well equipped, and the food and treats are amazing.

I cannot rate Seccombe Court highly enough. They have gone above and beyond for my mother and welcomed her and the whole family so warmly. They are all so friendly and caring, and my mother is happy here.
If I could rate them 10-stars, I would.

My mum has been here for over 3 years now and has come on in leaps and bounds. Great news the home has now opened back up! Such lovely, friendly, caring staff. Lots of activities for them to do. Lovely room and dining rooms, bistro etc. Lovely choice of foods and drinks.

There is consistency in staffing, which is reassuring to deal with the same people each visit - for family and for my mother, who has dementia. Calm atmosphere, good communication, prompt response to queries raised. Lovely outdoor area, which could probably be used more than it has been, on mild days.
So impressed by the level of care and concern of the home's manager - true compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of residents. Superb activities coordinator. Welcoming reception staff.

Since the first lockdown last March the staff at Gracewell of Adderbury have done the most amazing job in keeping all their residents, including my mum, safe and Covid free. Due to Government restrictions visiting has been difficult but the home has done all it can to enable Covid safe ways of communicating
and visiting for us all. I believe that all the staff have done everything they can to keep all residents safe, well looked after, and where possible with lockdown restrictions, active and entertained. My mum really has been in the best possible place since she first moved in at the start of February 2019. A big thank you to everyone at Gracewell of Adderbury - keep up the good work and we look forward to the time when we can all meet again face to face.

My mother has been a resident of Gracewell of Adderbury since it first opened. From the first point of contact with this care home, I have been impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of all staff. My mother has dementia and, as the condition has progressed, has become difficult for the
staff to handle at times. They have always been patient and caring and have done their best to suggest strategies to avoid her becoming distressed.
Whilst she seems to understand little of what is going on and is often reluctant to mix with other residents, the staff make an effort to include her in various activities. I was so pleased the first time I visited to find her engaged in creating bird feeders with the lovely lady who runs the activity programme, quite the opposite of her previous home which was more show than substance. The staff at Gracewell of Adderbury have been amazing during the pandemic and there has been a constant flow of information which has been very reassuring.

Wojciech Kuczkowski

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2022

I’ve been a General Manager for over ten years in other care homes. I worked my way up from care roles into management. I originally trained in management and marketing in my native Poland.


I was very positive about working for Care UK because it has a great reputation, and puts residents at the heart of everything it does. Its values of Caring, Passionate and Teamwork closely echo my own.


There’s always something new to learn and to tackle in this role, but there’s a solution to every challenge and, ultimately, seeing residents enjoying life here at Seccombe Court is what makes everything worthwhile. Knowing I’m making a positive impact on their lives is what motivates me. I’m very proud of the way the team delivers exceptional care to all residents and their loved ones.
