It is good. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food is good.

Mum has been a resident for a year now The facilities are excellent. Everywhere is spotless. Her care has been good and her health needs attended too quickly. The activity staff are wonderful with the residents. Mum really enjoys painting, exercises and church services.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care my Nan receives at Hoeffel Court. Vlad, in particular, has been incredibly caring, helpful and supportive, not only towards Nan but also to her immediate family. His kindness, compassion and genuine dedication are hugely appreciated and give us great reassurance knowing Nan is being so well cared for. Thank you to Vlad and the whole team for everything you do.

I met with the manager, Finlin, and she was so kind and helpful and very professional. I felt so much better after talking to her. We had a nice hug too!

Overall a good, reassuring experience. Staff always seem friendly towards residents & relations and they ensured that Mum quickly felt at home & happy. Strong management systems appear to be followed generally well and I have good communication with both management & staff. Good meal choices, well prepared. This is a nice, well laid out purpose built home, with spacious comfortable rooms including spacious ensuite wet rooms

Visitors commented on the friendly approach of staff. The end of life care was exceptional making the experience so much more comforting. All the staff made us feel like family always welcoming and interacting graciously with all residents sometimes in very difficult situations.

Overall, my mother is happy with everything.

In general I have been very happy with Bowes House. My mum has settled well and has a very lovely room. The staff are all very kind to her and understand her needs. My only negative is the system for appointments such as hair and podiatry as this seems very haphazard with the service providers not giving a specific date as to when they will be in the home.

The manager and lead nurse are always approachable and kind. The staff are helpful and offer kindness and care

After staying in four different care homes - all of them really awful, Heather View was a delight. Kind people, welcoming & every thing good, I did not want to leave, I will return when family go away on holiday. Excellent in every way, no problems, I wish all care homes were as good, thank you.

My husband has been in Bowes House since 2024 and the standard of care is excellent and goes a long way to reduce the feeling of guilt for having to place him in a care home when his health and needs became more than I was able to deal with. The staff are trained in dementia care and always treat my husband with respect and as a person in spite of his condition. I cannot praise Bowes House and all the staff enough, thank you.
