On a first visit to Invicta Court we knew this was right EJWe were so lucky that there was a room available. EJ moved to Invicta Court at the begining of July, With the help of a happy team of people EJ has settled in and is happy in her new home.

We cannot thank the team enough for the support they have given to EJ but to us as well. It is such a warm safe and happy enviroment. We are confident that EJ is safe and well looked after, this gives us peace of mind. Thank you Invicta Court a real Care Home where residence are truely cared for.

Review of Firtree House from K G (Niece of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My very elderly aunt was cared for in Firtree House for about 10 weeks, until she passed away at the end of June. She was treated with kindness, compassion and respect throughout her stay. All of the staff were brilliant with her and treated her with respect. I was kept up to date with her care plan and included in any decisions. I am so pleased her last few weeks were spent in comfort.

Review of Weald Heights from Sian M (Daughter of Resident) published on 17 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My Mum is happy and content at Weald Heights after more than 2 years of excellent care. She often points out how friendly all the staff are and tells me how good the food is. She enjoys the activities, especially the trips out, and the short walks the carers take her on. She loves stroking Lola, the Weald Heights dog, and meeting all the visiting pooches. The absolute highlight of her week is when musicians come in to entertain the residents. I visit her several times a week and the atmosphere is always calm and friendly, the staff are charming and the home is light, clean, sweet smelling and attractive. The small garden sitting area is full of colourful summer flowers, there are home made cakes and fruit with good coffee/tea in the cafe area and the home is decorated with vases and pots of pretty flowers. I know my Mum feels well cared for and safe. I usually find her happy, relaxed and busy which says it all. Thank you to everyone at Weald Heights.

Review of Weald Heights from Paul B (Son of Resident) published on 14 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My Dad has lived at Weald Heights for nearly 3 years. He has dementia and was supported by family at home for a few years, then by full-time live-in carers. Family members felt the weight of responsibility in making sure that this man, who had cared for and loved his family for so long, now had the best care, along with a rich and full life.

We looked at many care homes before choosing Weald Heights. We realised their staff/client ratio was good, which means that whenever we visit, there are lots of happy people busy helping the residents. The staff really make it a warm and caring atmosphere, they seem to know all the residents by name and recognise the visiting family too. There are plenty of events organised to bring variety to Dad's days: music, exercise, games, cooking, art, visits to garden centers etc along with 2 of the local churches coming in every other Sunday to provide a church service. He's made many friends and regularly tells us how happy he is.

Review of Invicta Court from Audrey K (Wife of Resident) published on 9 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card

My husband was hurriedly welcomed at Invicta Court care home several months ago when I was taken seriously ill. He was immediately made comfortable and his needs thoroughly assessed and acted upon. Now he is a permanent resident and has adapted well to the wonderful help and support from all the staff. Residents are helped and encouraged to take part in the many and various activities. We are so thankful and pleased with all aspects and respect that are shown to all residents and their families and friends.

Review of Invicta Court from S K (Daughter of Resident) published on 6 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Dad has been thriving since going to live at Invicta Court eight months ago. I've noticed how the staff genuinely care for the residents, treating them with dignity, warmth and kindness. Invicta Court truly feels like a home as the ambience is so lovely that you feel as if you are being enveloped in a big hug. There is a calm atmosphere, the home is spotlessly clean, and the décor and gardens are thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The people working at Invicta Court feel like our extended family as Dad is so very well looked after, and they've been incredibly supportive of our family while we've been navigating this new chapter in life of Dad living in care. I can see that Dad is safe, content and engaged at Invicta Court, and I couldn't be more grateful. The feeling of being able to trust a care home to truly care for your loved one is golden.

Review of Harrier Lodge from Sarah W (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mum had five weeks rest bite care in Harrier lodge and has only just gone back home. The home is so nice and the staff are amazing, a special mention of Kyran, Vishnu, Harriet, Liza, Pat, Wendy and Kelly. All staff made my mum feel so welcome and regularly checked on her. Mum enjoyed the food, social activities and the company in general.
Mum was on the driftwood suite, a special mention to all the staff that looked after her. Honestly don't take any notice of their CQC rating, don't let it put you off as this home is amazing. I know they had another inspection about a month ago, which should be published soon and reflect the level of the care they provide.
If my mum decides to come back, my sister and I would be so happy and sleep well at night, knowing how well she would be cared for.

Sarah

Review of Invicta Court from James F (Son-in-law of Resident) published on 19 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mother in law has been at Invicta Court for four years now and the care she receives has been consistently excellent. It has an ambience that is less care home and more relaxed hotel. Activities for residents are well thought out, varied and provided with great care and attention to detail from the Christmas display to special occasions commemorating national events.

I have given a poor ranking for value for money as I do not believe anyone should have their carefully accumulated life savings eaten up in end of life care. Bring on legalised assisted dying! I do not intend to end my life in such a home, however good the care!

My mother has been a resident at Weald Heights for nearly six years. Over time, her needs have changed, but have always been met by the wonderful care staff. It is a pleasure to visit and see how the home works to care so well for the residents, and to be greeted by familiar faces. I am very grateful that my mother has a home at Weald Heights.

We were offered a placement for our stepdad/grandfather at Kippingtons and it has not disappointed. He is very settled. The staff are so kind and friendly and nothing seems too difficult to sort out. He has all his needs met. They even accommodated one of his likes in more ways than one. True acceptance. The care the residents receive is very noticeable. Everyone seems happy. There is so much accommodation for the family and friends of the residents too.

The staff are fantastic. My mum has settled in so well and everyone has been so kind. I am so pleased that there are numerous activities for the residents and they are encouraged to participate rather than being left to sit inactive. The family quiz evenings are great fun and it is lovely to be invited to join in. My father has been in Weald Heights Care Home for two years now and really couldn't be happier with the all-around care that he receives. My mother has been a resident since January 2020. The staff took great care of her throughout Covid and did everything to help maintain contact during Lockdown. They have always helped to keep her as mobile and involvesd as possible although, aged 102, she is now mainly bedbound. On her good days my mother is out of bed and has been taken outside when the weather is good. The staff are all exceptionally kind and always treat my mother with the greatest of respect. I have full confidence in Weald Heights.

The receptionists are always kind, helpful and welcoming and the management and office staff have always been helpful and responsive. Weald Heights is first class.

I am so grateful for the exceptional care my mother receives at Weald Heights Care Home. She is on the nursing floor, where the friendly nurses monitor her health closely, and in the six months since she arrived, we have seen a dramatic improvement in her well-being.
The care staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure her comfort and happiness. The home is clean, well maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is great too. My mother clearly enjoys spending time with her main carers, and there are plenty of smiles and laughter. All the staff are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. My brother, sister and I have welcome peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands.

From the moment we first toured Weald Heights, we were impressed, and our experience since then has only strengthened that view. I would highly recommend Weald Heights to anyone looking for a caring, supportive, and professional environment for someone they care about.
