My 90 year old mother stayed at Mill View for a short stay after a hip operation. I am delighted to say she was well cared for. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond to help her walk again. I would definitely recommend Mill View to other families.

Review of Chichester Grange from Martin H (Nephew of Resident) published on 26 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My Aunt was admitted in July 2025 reluctantly for a short period of respite care while family home support was temporarily unavailable. However after three weeks in the Grange, she decided she did not want to return to her home as she was enjoying the social interaction with the residents and the support of the staff so much. It did not take long for her to be fully engrossed in the many social activities provided and in particular, rekindling her love of painting. Her eleven month stay gave her a new lease of life before she finally succumbed to her cancer.

We looked at several homes before choosing this one for the standard of accommodation, the activities available and the friendliness of the staff. We were not disappointed, the staff were very professional, attentive, accommodating and always available for a chat, even to the point that we felt that we were all family together. The cafe facility with free drinks and cakes for visitors enabled us to feel an integral part of the home

Review of Darlington Court from Samantha B (Daughter of Resident) published on 26 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Darlington Court staff have all been wonderful at a very difficult time. They have given me loads of advice and helped to get my Dad out of Hospital and into the Care Home at very short notice. The Customer Service Manger has been lovely and very supportive even coming in on her day off to help get all the paperwork sorted for my Dad. A really kind Support Worker stayed late to find out about my Dad and chat to my Husband and I. All the Clinical Staff and Care Workers have been so kind and have gone the extra mile with my Dad.

All of the staff made mum feel very at ease and welcome for her stay. They were very friendly and helpful when I visited. Mum seemed very happy. Having access to the outside was a vital requirement for mum so she could walk, this worked very well being able get outside through the sitting room .

Review of Chichester Grange from Matthew S (Son of Resident) published on 14 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Dad has been a resident for just over 3 months and much has changed for him in that time. Throughout I have found every member of staff whether from management, nursing, care, events or facilities to be fantastic. They have treated Dad with dignity at every step, and been proactive in looking to improve his quality of life. I feel absolutely confident Dad is in the best, safest and most appropriate place.

Review of Ayton House from O W (Son of Resident) published on 11 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I can't fault Ayton House. They've been great from my mums first respite visit to taking her on for full time care in the treatment of both her and me. Communication is excellent, the staff are all lovely and genuinely caring. My mum doesn't have a bad word to say about them or the facilities. There are frequent family events, days out for residents, entertainers and games. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone requiring care.

Review of Ayton House from Marie B (Daughter of Resident) published on 11 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mum began her stay as respite. She was very anxious and angry when she arrived and staff were wonderful at calming her and supporting me at the same time. Since then she has settled really well and is participating in many different activities that she would have refused to do at home. She particularly enjoys the musical events but equally she is enjoying the social side of being at Ayton House and I am enjoying visiting her and getting to know the other residents too. I have been to two barbecues and joined in with seated movement which was great fun! The activities staff are particularly good with my mum and she responds well to the banter. I know she is safe and cared for.

Ayton House in my opinion is a fantastic care home. Every member of the team have been approachable and friendly, helping to settle in my family members. I too feel very welcomed and able to use the lovely cafe and gardens with my family. Love the BBQ's; food is of an excellent standard and plenty of variety. A good range of activities and excursions for family members to join in. Thank you everyone at Ayton House

Review of Kings Lodge from E T (Daughter of Resident) published on 6 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My Mother has just spent another period of respite care whilst my husband and i went off on holiday.
As before Mum was well cared for remembering staff who have looked after her over the last 4 years.
The staff care for my mothers stoma and manage her medication as she cannot do this herself. They also assist her with showers or baths as its another part of daily life mum struggles with. She can wash herself but needs help with dressing as she will mismatch things.
Whilst mum has been at kings lodge she has enjoyed participating in activities although at 96 her attention. Span is not great.

We will definitely be contacting kings lodge next year for respite.

Review of Chichester Grange from James C (Son of Resident) published on 4 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Like most sons, I stepped into the care arena with very limited exposure to it. From the outset Chichester Grange was welcoming, asked the right questions and built our confidence throughout the onboarding and settling process. Subsequently I would describe the care as thoughtful and bespoke which is what we wanted and have received. Our confidence has only grown. At the heart of this is good people, good relationships and good care. And when we visit as a family and when friends visit, all are made very welcome; we appreciate that very much.

Mom moved into Martlet Manor in February . She went in for respite care and was so happy - wanted to stay. Staff were and are extremely accommodating. Rose organised the transition from Respite cate to Permanent which was seamless and she is incredibly efficient. In addition Rose had recently gone over and above expectations in a clothing issue for Mom Thank you

Harry Amy Lorraine Rose Suzanne and especially the amazing staff on the Dementia floor make mom's life so happy. all are incredible - the care joy and friendship they bring certainly makes me realise this is the best place for mom. I live abroad so to know that mom is safe and secure is wonderful for us both - mom and I.

Review of Kings Lodge from Mary S (Friend of Resident) published on 8 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My uncle does not have relatives in the UK, and he has been a resident in this Kings Lodge Nursing home (Bosham) for several years. I was visiting from the USA and was finally able to meet his care staff in person. They were very professional and caring staff members. We have spoken by telephone, correspondence and social media calls. They have been instrumental in providing good care for him and making us feel he is being taken care of in the absence of family. They keep us updated as to his health and provide pictures on the website of his activities. I wish I could name the person in charge. And the care team staff because they deserve to be recognised. Thank you for the peace of mind.

Review of Chichester Grange from R M (Wife of Resident) published on 1 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card

My husband was admitted for end-of-life care in April 2026 and died just over a month later. From pre-admission, all care and communication was professional, dignified, and caring. With very flexible visiting hours, my family and I were able to stagger our visits. The bright and airy lounge was perfect with snacks and drinks always available.
