Chichester Grange

My 89 year old Mother had 2 weeks respite care following a broken arm. She was cared for wonderfully well. The room was a lovely space with access to pretty garden, all on the same level. The staff were very kind and considerate. Mum especially enjoyed the very tasty meals. As a family we were always welcomed and appreciated the lovely cafe to meet up.

The home has been a marked step up from our previous experience with caring staff, a lovely room, and everyone working really hard to ensure that both resident and the family are being well supported. My father has gone from being bed bound to walking along the corridor with a walker. The facilities are perfect with the cafe downstairs for visits with my Dad, a garden where we can talk and look at the surroundings, and lounges and a library so we don't just have to be in Dad's room. Makes all the difference and has made his world so much bigger. There are activities and a buzz about the place. All the staff are kind and caring and cannot do enough to help. We feel really lucky to have got Dad into this wonderful home where just don't have the same constant worry about the quality of his care.

Hanna was treated with respect from all the Staff. Her needs were attended to efficiently. Hanna will probably return at some point and I can (Hannas partner) rest easy that she is being well cared for.

I moved my parents into Chichester Grange after my father received a terminal cancer diagnosis and was finding things too hard to stay safe at home as well as caring for my mother who has dementia. The care both my parents have received and my mother continues to do so, has been amazing. The staff are warm and friendly, supportive and professional. They keep my informed and updated. I, as a non-resident feel supported, included and welcomed into this wonderful caring community that they have built. My mum loves the food and the activities and is thriving and happy despite being in late stages of dementia. Visiting is a fabulous and stress free experience. Highly recommend.

We looked at several homes before choosing this one for the standard of accommodation, the activities available and the friendliness of the staff. We were not disappointed, the staff were very professional, attentive, accommodating and always available for a chat, even to the point that we felt that we were all family together. The cafe facility with free drinks and cakes for visitors enabled us to feel an integral part of the home

Dad has been a resident for just over 3 months and much has changed for him in that time. Throughout I have found every member of staff whether from management, nursing, care, events or facilities to be fantastic. They have treated Dad with dignity at every step, and been proactive in looking to improve his quality of life. I feel absolutely confident Dad is in the best, safest and most appropriate place.

Like most sons, I stepped into the care arena with very limited exposure to it. From the outset Chichester Grange was welcoming, asked the right questions and built our confidence throughout the onboarding and settling process. Subsequently I would describe the care as thoughtful and bespoke which is what we wanted and have received. Our confidence has only grown. At the heart of this is good people, good relationships and good care. And when we visit as a family and when friends visit, all are made very welcome; we appreciate that very much.

My husband was admitted for end-of-life care in April 2026 and died just over a month later. From pre-admission, all care and communication was professional, dignified, and caring. With very flexible visiting hours, my family and I were able to stagger our visits. The bright and airy lounge was perfect with snacks and drinks always available.

My relative has been living at Chichester Grange since April 2026, and the care they receive is exceptional. The team truly understands dementia - not just clinically, but emotionally - and staff are consistently patient, respectful and skilled in supporting both the good days and the more challenging ones. Communication with families is excellent. I am always kept informed, feel welcome when I visit, and know I can ask questions and receive honest, thoughtful responses. The app is also brilliant, giving daily updates that offer real peace of mind and provide lovely conversation starters. The activities programme is well designed and sensitively adapted for dementia. My relative particularly enjoys the music sessions, gentle exercise and walks in the gardens, all of which make a noticeable difference to their wellbeing. Chichester Grange is a warm, safe and well-run home. I'm very grateful for the care my relative receives and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

My mum moved into Chichester Grange in April to help with respite care during her recovery from surgery. She had been very unsettled but once in their care she has thrived. They have helped her to relax and settle into her new surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble. There are so many activities to take part in or just to know that they exist there is no reason to be bored, lonely or sad. The nursing care she has received is second to none. Not only are the staff there for the residents they are a great emotional support for the extended family too. They always make us feel welcome and we are never made to feel intrusive or in the way. Thank you to the staff for all they do for these elderly residents. My mum is very happy at Chichester Grange and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for care for your loved ones.

If you are looking for a nursing home for a loved one, especially if they are very unwell, I would fully recommend Chichester Grange.

We appreciated the tranquil environment, the garden, and the quality of the home. A safe well-run place. We couldn't have asked for better quality care.

We know she is safe and well-cared for, and it is reassuring to see her engaging in the activities - she particularly enjoys the music, singing and art sessions. Mum is lucky enough to have family close by and she loves it when they pop in for tea and cake in the on-site cafe or a walk in the gorgeous gardens. We are so grateful to everyone there for making a tough transition so much easier for all of us.

I cannot stress to much that the staff are both very helpful and knowledgeable, and whilst it is a large facility the staff know who you are and make sure that you are posted on any developments with, in my case my wife.

Grange is like a 5 star hotel with nursing care.

The Chichester Grange is everything you want from a care home. Caring, cozy, helpful, warm. It was incredibly hard making the decision to move mum into full time care but whole team team did an amazing job helping both mum and I with the transition. I know she is safe and well looked after. The care team are so gentle and have endless patience. The cafe downstairs is perfect spot for friends and family to hang out with mum and the garden is lovely to get some fresh air. The activities are a great and I know mum esp. enjoys all the music and singing. Five stars!

From the moment we looked at Chichester Grange to the move of my Grandma the service has been outstanding, communication is key to us and I am fully aware of whats happening with my Grandma and knowing she is really looked after and settled is all we asked for. Samantha's communication from the beginning has been outstanding and she has been very supportive and the nursing staff I just can't fault so thank you!

Our experience with Chichester Grange over the past 3 months has been exceptional, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mother has received, since moving in with Alzheimer's. From the outset, mum was welcomed and all the staff handled her transition with sensitivity and compassion. The teams are so kind attentive and respectful and the Grange is so welcoming to family members at all times and a great cafe too! Activities are well planned, delicious meals, and mum is happy and I know she is extremely well cared for. Thank you.

I have been at Chichester Grange since beginning of August 2025 and have settled in very well. I join in with most activities. I like art & crafting. The staff are very friendly and give any help if needed.
