My brother has been a resident at Foxbridge House since May 2023. I have found his carers and the whole team caring, considerate and they have looked after my brother very well. My family are grateful for all they do.

The team at Foxbridge House looked after my mum for 4 years after she was diagnosed with dementia. I was always impressed by the care and attention provided by the team who were always in good spirits despite the challenging role they preform. Thank you!

The staff are highly professional and provide good standards of care, but are also kind and compassionate. Attention to detail is important, and every effort made to be helpful. Good food is much appreciated, and also cleanliness.

My mother has been well cared for and treated with dignity and respect, for which we are thankful.

I would recommend Foxbridge House without hesitation. What fantastic staff especially Ola, Naomi, Kimberley and Dorothy. They are the kindest people and have so much patience and care towards the residents, it is always the staff that make any place like this great ! A professional approach is adopted from the onset and maintained at all times. The meals are good and the dining room welcoming.
The home is always tidy and the little extras they offer to guests make it a very welcoming place.

Well done Foxbridge !!

I would definitely recommend Foxbridge House for anyone sourcing care. The home is beautifully kept, safe and made very comfortable for the residents including a lovely garden. The care is exceptional and all the staff are always smiling and helpful. There are many activities for the residents, an excellent hairdresser and access to other facilities as required
The Team also provide valuable information on dementia to relatives which I found really useful. They also actively helped with obtaining funding when my Mums conditions worsened

I looked at a lot of homes when my Mum needed care and Foxbridge was my first choice. I can't really fault it and would definitely recommend it

From first arrival we were impressed by so many of the things at Foxbridge. A warm welcome from many of the staff was the perfect start to my mother's short respite stay, an experience which continued throughout her stay. Rooms were spotless, food was varied and nutritious and there always seemed to be carer on hand when needed. The management team were also very much in evidence and led us through the on-boarding process in an unhurried and professional manner. All in all and very pleasant experience and just what the whole family needed to recharge batteries.

The initial three-week respite period and the short tenure as a permanent resident, made a huge difference in her mental stimulation, ensuring her days were full of professional care, compassion by the very attentive care workers and stimulating activities to participate in, coupled with comprehensive nursing as required.
In every conversation and discussion, the family have had since mother's passing we have been full of praise of the positive experience that mother had at Foxbridge House Care Home was a huge relief for the family to know that she was in a very safe and secure care environment.

Since her passing, our family has consistently praised the positive experience at Foxbridge House Care Home. We are immensely thankful to the management and staff for their care and would confidently recommend Foxbridge House Care Home to other families seeking compassionate, professional support with total peace of mind that their loved ones are having the best possible available care.

My wife has resided at Foxbridhe House for 27 months, and provision continues to be outstanding. Her needs have substantially increased, by her care has been adjusted to match her needs. Carers and nursing staff follow consistent procedures and are always kind, patient, jolly, caring and polite to all residents and their visitors. The care and garden are well maintained and are valuable facilities. Clothes are laundered to a high standard with a next day service. Food is adjusted to meet all dietary needs and is well balanced. The activity programme awaits the appointment of a new leader. Staff at all levels function well and my family are delighted with my wife's residency at Foxbridge.

My Mum has lived at Foxbridge House for 3 years now and has always been very happy. Everyone who works there, whatever their role is welcoming and friendly.
I feel confident that staff really know my mum and that she is well cared for and treated with respect and kindness. I visit very regularly and we often spend time together in the garden or in the cafe.
There are frequent events that friends and relatives are invited to attend and there is always a great sense of community.

Whenever I have emailed the Manager or Deputy Manager I have always had a prompt response and any queries have been quickly and efficiently answered. I highly recommend Foxbridge House to anyone looking for respite or permanent care for themselves or a loved one.

Foxbridge care home is a lovely home with beautiful gardens, cinema and great cafe to take the residents to meet their families and friends. The staff are very friendly and caring and take an interest in each individual resident. My husband settled into Foxbridge within a few days and told me he was staying in a hotel. Each residents bedrooms have en suite facilities and all have very comfortable furnishings. I also like to bring our dog Holly in to see my husband and she is allowed in the residents' rooms and she brings joy to all the people on our visits. I would describe Foxbridge just like a beautiful hotel with very caring and experienced staff

Foxbridge House is an excellent choice for your parent/loved one.
Although the building, gardens and facilities are really good, what makes Foxbridge special is the staff.
From top to bottom, the staff are terrific. They always have time for you, nothing is ever too much trouble. They work hard, they are very professional and they are extremely helpful. They are also very friendly and positive.
In short, they do a great job and it is very reassuring to know that your relative is under their care.

In the case of my mum, she took a while to adjust to the idea of leaving her house. Now, she wouldn't be anywhere else.

Meet the Team (1)

Stella Barnes
Stella BarnesJob Title:Home Manager

There are many different aspects of my role as Home Manager at Foxbridge House, but one of my favourites is the opportunity to meet and get to know residents and their families. It’s a huge privilege.

Every person we care for is at the heart of their care: they make decisions about how they want to be cared for, how they want to spend their day and live their life, and we support them to make that happen.

Central to achieving that is having a superb team. We have great people at Foxbridge House who are determined to do their best for residents, relatives and for each other. I’m here to support them to succeed, and Care UK supports me to succeed as well.

While this job is high-pressured and there’s a lot to juggle, the feeling at the end of the day of knowing that you’ve done the best job you can is second to none.
