View Full Details of Foxbridge HouseFoxbridge House is an excellent choice for your parent/loved one. Although the building, gardens and facilities are really good, what makes Foxbridge special is the staff. From top to bottom, the staff are terrific. They always have time for you, nothing is ever too much trouble. They work hard, they are very professional and they are extremely helpful. They are also very friendly and positive. In short, they do a great job and it is very reassuring to know that your relative is under their care. In the case of my mum, she took a while to adjust to the idea of leaving her house. Now, she wouldn't be anywhere else.
Our Dear Uncle has been a resident at FOXBRIDGE for almost 18 months and has been extremely happy and settled SINCE DAY ONE!!! The staff (of every area) are so so kind, caring, helpful and professional, and nothing is too much trouble for them, and they are ALWAYS willing to help, support and listen to the family's needs, in addition to our uncle's needs too! We are extremely HAPPY that we have placed our uncle in this care home!
Very good care home. Cares well for clients often with challenging needs The staff are friendly and supportive and keep me well informed about updates to my mums care and other issues Lots of activities for the clients to do and engagement with relatives and clients through barbecue days or other events. I especially like information events for relatives - I attended one on dementia which was really helpful and interesting
First 3 months have been a settling in process but my mum has been well looked after and is settling into her new environment.
My care has been good. The staff are supportive. I enjoyed the entertainers when they come to the home.
Very happy with mum's care although everytime I visit, her dentures are falling out. I have mentioned this so many times but it's still happening. Staff are very caring and pleasant. It would be nice to see mum go on more outings as I tend to see the same faces your social media posts.
My wife went to Foxbridge House on respite for the second time in June. She spent two weeks being very well looked after by friendly, efficient and professional care staff. She was able to be herself, and she tells me that it was a happy two weeks away from me, her carer.
Foxbridge has been home to my friend for over two years now. During this time I have got to know all members of staff, and in turn they have all got to know her. Each and every carer are very engaging with my friend and give her the greatest of care. They are all very polite and professional and take an interest in her. If I have a concern I feel able to voice it and know it will be dealt with. The nurses are on top of my friends medical needs and I am contacted if there are changes, however small. The Management teams door is always open and there is always someone to listen to me on a personal level, or sort a problem if I have one.
My experience of Foxbridge over the last 6 years has been consistently good. They are very respectful of their residents in my opinion and most of the staff have a very kind and caring attitude. Activities can sometimes seemingly be challenging to meet all the expectations and capability levels of all the residents hence my lower score on this. My relative is very settled here and I am very grateful to the Foxbridge Team for ensuring I never need to worry about their safety and know they are being well looked after.
Mum has been a resident at Foxbridge House for nearly 3 years and has settled into daily life there very well. I am particularly impressed by the low staff turnover, allowing Mum to recognise her carers and they to truly know & understand her and her needs. The facilities are good with a varied programme of activities on offer and visitors welcomed at any time - as well as to regular family events. The weekly Resident Meetings give residents a voice and regular Relative Meetings, update family. Staff are welcoming, caring and compassionate and keep me informed and updated about my mother and her care, which I greatly appreciate. Any worries or concerns I raise are addressed promptly and effectively, giving me peace of mind. The Home cultivates a sense of community and belonging among residents, and relatives alike.
Facilities great. Staff super nice. Caring attitude from Staff towards residents. A few repeated requests to ensure my mother-in-law's teeth are stuck in properly has been an issue. Not a fault of the Care Home but it still think it grossly unfair that someone who has saved money over their lifetime are expected to contribute so much more than someone who enjoyed life by spending every penny.
Foxbridge House is a beautiful care home in a lovely setting, with light, bright and spacious rooms and beautiful gardens. There are many amenities such as the café, cinema, hairdressers and an activity programme to engage residents. The most impressive thing are the staff who are extremely kind and caring and looked after my Mum so well for more than six years, often going above and beyond to make her happy and comfortable. Thank you everyone.
During my Grandmother's 6-7 years at Foxbridge House she was extremely well cared for. She appreciated and enjoyed the clean, comfortable surroundings and amazing food. Her room was cosy and she was able to have lots of family photos up on her wall, lots of familiar faces and personal items. Every staff member I encountered treated her with respect and most as if she was a loved family member. The coffee area at the entrance allowed visitors a comfortable, smart but relaxed place to chat with a great choice of drinks & both sweet and healthy snacks. Sadly my Grandmother passed away last month but the end of life care she received was really impressive, all staff really stepped up.
We found Fox Bridge very clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My mum seems to have a better quality of life than we can provide at home.
Really amazing and well cared for. And glad I know she is in good hands
When mum first came to Foxbridge House I was a little reluctant how she would settle in as English is not her first language. The staff are amazing so caring, Mum has settled in so well and I feel this is due to all the staff not just nursing, management even take and interest in everyone living here knowing all their names.
It was easy to arrange care for my dad, the Customer Service Coordinator was very easy to deal with to help us arrange the respite care needed. Throughout the process she was very contactable and it was very reassuring knowing my dad had the best available care. When I needed to call Foxbridge they were easy to get hold of and the team was always very curious, and the Receptionist in particular was really personable and helpful.
The friendly residents made my respite enjoyable.the staff on all levels were excellent in service and care. Happy at all times made the difference to my stay. I thank them for all they do and for their extreme patience.
I would recommend Foxbridge Home to anyone. They all treated my mum with respect, care, dignity, support and love. The staff went above and beyond to look after my mum and helped my brother and me emotionally.
My mother was a resident at Foxbridge House for nearly 4 years due to her Alzhheimers worstening. During the whole period the care and attention she received by all nurses and carers was excellent. If there were any issues, we raised these with either the nurses on duty, or Care Home Manager/Deputy and the problems were dealt with promptly. Our family were always warmly greeted by everyone when we visited my mother. My mother sadly passed away recently, and the care she received at the end of her life was exceptional. Additionally all members of staff from all departments- nurses, carers, management/admin, housekeeping, maintenance ensured our family were looked after too whilst we were at her bedside in the last few days. Thank you Foxbridge House for everything.
