Very happy with my Mum's care. The staff are wonderful and I know my Mum is well looked after. Special thanks to Paula who always goes over and above. And Rushmee who looks after Mum so well. The confidence of knowing Mum is safe and well is invaluable.

Lovely care home with great amenities. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so helpful in arranging a nursing room for my mother in law following a bad experience at a previous home. They went above and beyond, sorting assessments and transport for us. Thank you

Always a warm welcome. My Mum feels safe and well looked after. I am confident with knowing she has caring staff looking after her. It feels like a home from home.

Her room is very comfortable and she has some of her own things to make it hers.

Mum has been a resident of Hardy suite for a year now and has become very settled. The staff have formed a great relationship with her and their care is second to none. She has been encouraged to join in on activities which she enjoys and they have been helpful in keeping her active. I am happy that she is safe and very well cared for.

Review from K I (Partner of Resident) published on 23 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Parsons Grange is a caring home where the staff show genuine compassion for residents and their individual needs. They listen and take on board what families have to say, which is much appreciated. There seems to be very good communication among the different teams in the home.
The carers are kind and attentive. Through the app, families are kept well informed about what is happening in the home.
I appreciate the efforts made to support my partner, including the daily walks, which mean a great deal. As residents have different abilities and needs, it would be wonderful to see opportunities for even more tailored activities where possible.

Thank you very much for the care and support you provide for my partner!

After 21 months in Parsons Grange our relative is still receiving a wonderful standard of care from all the nursing staff and management. Always impressed by the range of activities that they encourage the residents in Allfrey wing to partake in. Xmas, New Year, Burns Night, Valentines Day are always highlights where the staff make a real statement. Also a nice touch that the staff take photos and send them to us of our relative involved in an activity. Eva at 96yo could not be in a better place.

This review is to cover the last 2 years, what can I say this home and the staff and management have gone above and beyond with my father's care.
He can't walk now or speak but they include him in so many events that he enjoys. He loves visiting the bistro area where he can sit and enjoy being with people. I can honestly say we never sit there very long before staff members come across to dad, his smile is so bright with all the staff members it gives you a great sense of security witnessing this knowing he is loved by so many.
He's visited the pub a few times on outings, and enjoys a non alcoholic beer.
Garden centres and Dinton Pastures are another favourite.
Dad has one on one care and management and staff have worked very hard to ensure he only has a few people that does this care, as dad can get agitated when he doesn't know people really well.

Parsons Grange is excellent and we feel like part of a large family. Very supportive home.

The support that was received by the patient is very satisfactory. She felt valued and taken care of like a family. All the nurses have been very patient to all her needs up to the last moment of her stay. We felt the protection was given especially with the different people who visit her. Overall the care home was not just about caring but includes safety and security and the patient and that has been felt by the next of kin during the patient's stay.

I have over twenty years of experience working in older people’s care. My passion is caring for and supporting older people to be as independent as possible. I believe in involving residents in all decision-making so they can live each day in the way they wish.

My father was diagnosed with dementia, so I understand how hard-hit families can be after this diagnosis. We’re here to support loved ones to realise that it’s not the end and that it’s possible to live well with dementia. That’s exactly what we support residents to do. We ensure families are involved in care planning, and loved ones are welcome to be involved in their relative’s day-to-day care if they wish to be. We work in partnership with families, and everything we do is personalised to individual needs and wishes.

I’m so proud of the Parsons Grange team. They’re very responsive and supportive – both to me, each other, the residents and their families. Together we’re determined that Parsons Grange continues to be the best care home in Reading.
