Norfolk House in Weybridge, Surrey, is a purpose-designed care home providing personalised residential care, short-term respite care, expert nursing care and specialist dementia care for older people, including those with physical disabilities.

The home offers communal areas and facilities where residents can relax, socialise and carry on pursuing hobbies or discover new interests, including a hairdressing salon, library, reminiscence room and landscaped garden with a beautiful pergola.

Every resident’s room at Norfolk House is en-suite, tastefully decorated and includes comfortable furnishings. Residents are welcome to arrange their rooms however they wish, and can bring their own possessions to help them feel completely at home.

My mother has been a resident of Norfolk House for the past 18 months. Over that time, her health has improved, and the level of care and stimulation has been much higher than when she lived in her own house. I am impressed with how attentive the care staff and nurses are to her medical needs. I no

Norfolk House became a home from home for my dad, who had stayed for respite a couple of years ago, and later received end of life care there. The staff were absolutely amazing; so caring, thoughtful, funny, kind and professional. Dad was always treated with respect and dignity, and he, and his room
were always kept very clean. The room was so welcoming, fully equipped with all he needed, and was a comfortable space for family to spend time with him. The garden was such a beautiful, tranquil space for both residents and their families and friends to spend time in. At a very difficult time, it became a calming sanctuary for us to be in. When dad came out of hospital for the last time, and came back to Norfolk House, we knew it was the right place for him to come back to. Thank you so much for making dad so comfortable, and content in his final days.

I have visited my elderly friend almost every day since she has had to receive nursing care, I find the home to be well presented and the care staff to be very attentive to residents personal need. There is always an activity each day for the residents to join in if they wish, there is nothing better

My brother has been at Norfolk House for almost a year following a stroke. He is immobile and need hoisting when being transferred. The staff (all of them) are all very attentive & polite & are always engaging with clients & visitors with a smile. A good sign is there doesn't appear to be a turnover
of carers, so they are familiar with clients & visitors/family & learn their likes and dislikes.
The activities co-ordinators are excellent so I am contacted by the nurse whenever they feel necessary & I am equally I am able to contact the staff with ease.

My parents-in-law arrived at Norfolk House 4 weeks ago dispirited by poor care at their previous home and not confident about the future. From the start, however, it's been obvious that NH operates effectively. The nurses are professional & proactive, the carers are kind and competent, the cleaning
staff thorough, and the food (I'm told!) delicious. The atmosphere in the home is friendly and resident-centred. We are feeling very reassured with everything we've experienced so far & can understand why NH came highly recommended to us by families of other residents.

My Mother was a resident of Norfolk House for almost 7 years.
We have always been happy with her care. The staff have looked after her and taken care of all her needs exceptionally well.
As her care needs developed they upped their level of care. Always at a very high standard.
I think they helped
her to make it to the amazing age of 97!
She has recently passed away. And her end-of-life care was dealt with kindness and consideration for her and myself. (Her daughter).
Myself and my family have always been made to feel welcome at the home.

My experience with Norfolk house has been nothing but positive. The safety, communication, person-centred care, activities, cleanliness, facilities and food quality were all of an exceptional standard. The staff are well trained in all aspects and also genuinely compassionate kind and responsive. My
grandmother got to know and trust the staff who advocated for her and picked up signals very quickly if she became unwell. She thought the care home was her flat which just shows how safe and comfortable she felt. It was nice to be able to feel reassured she was being looked after so well. In particular, the end-of-life care to my grandma afforded her dignity, safety and comfort. In the last week of her life, I was there a lot the staff were very kind and caring towards myself and my grandmother. The care and support provided was consistently excellent the whole time.

On arriving I find very poor parking for visitors and deliveries on entering I find the home very pleasing. The staff are so helpful. The food I find is very good. But sometimes not very warm. The choice is very good, also there is always a cup of tea on hand. My partner's room is okay but could have

The end-of-life care for my (step) father-in-law was at a high level. The first-floor staff, both day and night, were kind, attentive and went above board to make sure he was always comfortable and they maintained his dignity at all times. The care and consideration for the family going through a hard
time watching a loved one deteriorate was also so wonderful - many cups of tea were offered!

My partner with Parkinson's, Dementia and other ailments was admitted from hospital, like a living corpse - within 5 days he was back on his feet, a bit wobbly and eating and drinking. Without exception, the staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for him. I would not be able to look after him with
that amount of care and compassion and occasionally humour! I am satisfied and grateful for the care he gets. There is no worry in my mind that he is in the best place.

Experience has been only good. Everybody is always friendly, courteous and helpful, always happy and smiling. Everything is dealt with professionally and with respect. My relative only having been a resident for 2 months she feels at home and is very comfortable. We could not wish for better.

My partner became a resident at Norfolk House in December 2020 at the height of COVID. For the past 3 and a half years he has been cared for with compassion and dignity. All his needs are met as far as they can be with his dementia. Whether it be medical, general care and welfare plus his diet. I have
had no reason to make a formal complaint. The atmosphere in the home is lovely and I do not feel depressed when entering.

My family and I are so pleased with the care provided at Norfolk House. The staff are so kind and thoughtful and have made the transition from home to a care home so much easier for us as a family and for our father. Norfolk house is clean and tidy and the facilities provided for residents are lovely.
The whole day feels relaxed but well organised. Staff are always around and take care of everyone there. I think the staff and their attitude is the area that we are the most impressed with. They are kind and caring with all the residents and seem to go above and beyond what is expected. Even behind the scenes in terms of administration has also been fantastic.
Communication has been brilliant and assistance with the paperwork is spot on. I would recommend Norfolk House to anyone I know. I can honestly say that I enjoy visiting.
