an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Mom moved to Brook Court in June 2025. She was discharged from hospital and moved straight to Brook Court. All the staff are wonderful, caring and supportive. No matter how many questions I ask I always have a quick response.

Brook Court Care Home is absolutely wonderful. From the moment you step through the doors, there's a true sense of calm and kindness. The staff are not only experienced but incredibly compassionate-they go above and beyond every single day. The home itself is immaculate, with beautifully maintained
gardens that bring so much joy and peace to residents and visitors alike. It really feels like a community, full of heart and dignity. We couldn't ask for better care.

My Step mum was admitted to a palliative care bed a few weeks ago. So far, I have only positive things to say about Brook Court and the whole team.
The Manager clearly leads her team in a very positive way and upholds a caring and person centred philosophy. The Care staff and Nurses are attentive and
thoughtful, seeming to value people as individuals, they are always happy to help, stay positive and with good humour even though they are busy.
The chefs cook brilliant food, including cakes and pastries always available in the cafe area. My Step mum loves her meals, and this is very special for her and us, as she hasn't properly enjoyed food for nearly 7 years.
All involved acknowledge and support individual choice. Well done team, you're genuinely doing a great job.

In April this year my mother required a period of respite due to a infection impacting her underlying condition of dementia. After frantically trying to obtain help from her GP and other services, Brook Court came to the rescue. All the staff and care have been exceptional. Would highly recommend. Unfortunately
it was not financially viable to keep mom there permanently in long term care due to the high fees.

Driving up the quiet, tree lined, leafy road that leads to Brook Court puts you in a peaceful place to visit your loved ones x Pulling onto the car park you see the well tended garden areas and the well looked after building that puts the care of your loved one in the centre of it's heart x Inside the
building you are greeted with smiles from staff, colleagues and from residents alike and the welcoming aroma of proper coffee and freshly baked cake x. Sit outside in the gardens and enjoy the sunshine, or in the cafe area, there's always someone around to talk to as the outside is always buzzing with laughter, chatting, activities and smiles x.
Brook court looked after my sister in her final days, which because of their care, love and companionship was actually 4weeks. Her care was second to none and nothing was too much trouble x My only regret is not finding this place sooner for her x Thank you so much to all involved in my sisters care and to the love that was shown us both x

My mother lived at Brook Court for four years. She died in March this year.
The facilities and staff at Brook Court were lovely and mum was very well cared for. We were made to feel very welcome whenever we visited.

I would like to thank all the staff at Brook Court for their care and kindness to my mother in law who sadly passed away this evening. They could not have cared for her any better , kindness & thoughtfully they cared for her and during her final hours were so respectful. They made her final years comfortable
and with dignity . Thank you again for the care you gave her I could not recommend this nursing home enough.

Brook Court is a homely place. Nothing is too much trouble from the manager, staff, carers, maintenance + housekeeping. Staff are very caring treating all of the residents with dignity and respect. Always there for you when you need them. Home always clean and tidy. Activity team are very good and caring.
Cafe area is excellent as are the meals in the dining room.

My father needed the services of a Care home as he was becoming very unwell. From the start of his stay the staff went above and beyond to accommodate his various requests and took the time to ask us about him and his life and what interested him so they could make a connection whilst he stayed at Brook
Court. Despite his rapidly declining health, they constantly kept us in the loop were always on hand to answer our many questions and during our visits took the time to talk to us, check our own needs and made us tea and snacks, delivered just at the right moment!
Our family have no doubt Dad was absolutely in the best place for the last few weeks of his life. He died peacefully. The nursing staff were so kind, gentle and understanding of his last few hours and could not have been more kind and genuine to ourselves during a difficult and sensitive time. We were so lucky to have chosen Brook Court for Dad. Thank you to the staff for their kindness and support.

My father-in-law lived at Brook Court for the last 7 months of his life having moved from another provider we were very unhappy with. The home is always clean and tidy. Meals are catered for individual needs. The staff at Brook Court are really caring, sensitive to need and very respectful of residents,
treating them with dignity. It is entirely down to the care that my father-in-law received from the staff that his life was extended beyond what was expected. Staff are approachable, warm and friendly, not only to residents but also to families. I have felt very supported by staff during the difficult time of my father-in-law passing away. Especial thanks to his carers for their kindness during a very sad time for us as a family.

My mom has been at Brook Court for nearly two years. She is a resident on the dementia unit and is treated extremely well. I can't praise the staff highly enough. They know her inside out and any concerns are dealt with quickly. She maintains some freedom and is given choices. They support us as a family
also, giving updates and telling stories about what they have been up to.
Not one for arts and crafts, jigsaws etc., lifestyle staff involve Mom in other daily tasks to keep her involved and engaged in new things. They also offer day trips and visits to garden centres and try to grant residents "wishes" from the wishing tree, big or small.
Rooms and communal areas are exceptionally clean and tidy, thanks to an amazing housekeeping and maintenance team. The hairdressing service and chiropodist offer the chance for residents to feel proud of their appearance. We use both services and it makes us, as a family, happy that she is her best.

Dad has settled well every visit appears relaxed and smiles again.
I feel reassured that he is safe and cared for.
Home is clean tidy and odour free.

Both our parents have been at Brook Court for over two years, and in that time have consistently received excellent care, both Mum in Brinton (nursing) and Dad in Brockway. The staff are conscientious and genuinely very caring, and they have helped Mum and Dad be together as much possible in this vulnerable
and fragile stage in their lives. Dad feels very much at home, loves his carers and the activities team, and is happy and enjoys a good quality of life. He enjoys the activities, and also appreciates quiet times in his lovely garden room when he wishes to be alone for a while. Mum receives warm and friendly nursing care. The nurses are very approachable, and we are kept informed of all developments. We are confident they are receiving the best care they can.

I would fully recommend Brook Court for care of your loved ones, the staff are very attentive and caring to all residents. They care for the residents with dignity and respect. The resident I support as a friend previously had care in his own home which was not adequate and he was basically a prisoner
in his own home. He is so happy in the home and is looked after exceptionally well, where previously he was depressed and withdrawn. The social interaction at the care home is brilliant, there are regular events and craft groups to help residents interact. The team from management to receptionists are all fully supportive and when concerns or requests are made they are acted on.

Brook Court Care Home is everything you would want for your loved ones. People who really care! Everyone who works at Brook Court genuinely cares about your loved one; they give them the care and love they deserve. Nothing is too much trouble for their residents.
My dad was in another nursing home
before Brook Court so I do have something to compare it with.

One visit I found my father shaking in a t-shirt and sat in a draughty area. He was ill and I took him back to his room and asked why they had not called a Doctor. They eventually called a doctor. The next day he collapsed and was admitted to Hospital. I was advised he was not only dehydrated but emaciated
and had pneumonia. I was horrified and gave notice to the home that day.

I started my career as a Peripatetic Home Manager, working across the UK, making sure care homes met the regulator's standards.


I joined Care UK in 2016 because I felt it would be a supportive and rewarding company to be a part of and I was correct.


I’ve seen the high standard of care for residents and great teams. Everyone is very committed to ensuring that every resident is happy and cared for. There’s always a lot to do in my role, but by far my favourite part of the day is when I walk around the home, checking everything is okay, and chatting with residents, relatives and my team.
