I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mum is receiving at Brook Court. It is always a difficult decision to admit a family member to a care home but the staff made the process as easy as possible. Everyone in the home is so kind and considerate. There is such a happy atmosphere and my mum tells me the food is excellent!
Every effort is made to accommodate both her needs and mine. Rooms are large, bright, very clean and well decorated.
The activities are excellent - trying to involve all the clients and also taking note of their interests and hobbies.

I fully recommend Brook Court.

My Mom stayed here for about 8 weeks, receiving end of life care. From the moment she arrived, she was made to feel so welcome by everyone there. My sister and I both visited on a daily basis and I can't praise the place highly enough. Every single member of staff is an absolute credit to Brook Court and the cleanliness of the place is immaculate. I would happily recommend Brook Court to anyone who was looking.

From my first contact, I have been guided and supported. Each member of staff have listened and don't the extra mile to ensure my husband's care needs have been met. They have all done their utmost to ensure that it was an easy transition for him. from the very first day he has been made to feel very welcome. Each member of staff whether a carer or administrator keenly support all the residents to ensure their time at the home is a happy one.

My partner went to Brook Court in 2014 aged 54years after a severe brain injury, I believe they could not be in better care home than Brook Court.

We have both been shown loving care and kindness at all times, and understanding and support to me through their very hard years.

My family and I had fantastic support from Brook Court when our father sadly required palliative and end of life care in 2018. They were faultless in the way they looked after him and we were so grateful for the empathy and kindness that they showed towards our family. Now, in 2020, we find ourselves relying on the Brook Court team's expertise once again. This time they are helping our mother, who needs assistance in transitioning from her own home to this lovely home due to a diagnosis of dementia. We feel that both our mother and we are in safe hands. The Brook Court staff members have gone out of their way to settle her in, to keep us informed (which is so important in this time of Covid restrictions) and to stop us from worrying. We really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

My husband has been resident in Brook Court for 3 years. The care he has received, medically and personal is beyond words. There is not one member of staff who is not caring, professional and loving. It truly is a "home". I feel happy and welcomed the moment I walk through the door. The residents are a family in a family home. All are loved equally. I cannot give a higher recommendation.

Excellent care for my mother for approximately 6 months.
Staff, nursing and care were considerate, caring and genuinely interested in my mother's well being.
During the last few days of her life at Brook Court, the whole team was amazing, he cared for mum with compassion and dignity. For that, I must thank them, from the whole family.

Thank you.

The family I visited all homes in the area, finding a fault with every one. On entering Brook Court we were made very welcome, offered refreshments. Shown a room, not a shower room. Had expenses and terms explained. This was the only place my Mother and the family were 100% happy with. We put her name down there and then. She has been very happy here for nearly 4 years. Long may it continue.

Everyone at Brook Court looks after mom extremely well. They are kind, caring and interested in her as a person albeit her dementia is getting worse so she cannot always respond accordingly. The whole family are grateful that we have found such a loving and caring home for mom.

My mother was only at Brook Court for a short time, however, during her stay, I cannot fault the care she received. She was always clean, beautifully dressed with hair and nails done. She was content. Staff got to know her personality and her little ways. They were proactive in calling me with any concerns or questions. They were always ready to hear my worries too and action them. The physical environment of the home could not be more complete, clean and well laid out. I would strongly recommend this care home to anyone needing dementia care.

Emma Metzger-MinnsJob Title:Home Manager

I enjoy being part of the team and working shoulder to shoulder with colleagues to face whatever the day may bring. Taking a hands-on approach means I can stay in touch with residents and find out how they are feeling – they are, of course, the most important people here.

I feel incredibly proud of what we do here, seeing residents enjoying their time at Brook Court. I was thrilled to have received five nominations for Deputy Manager of the Year when I was in that role; it meant so much to me.

I make a point of being available to residents, their relatives and colleagues. I enjoy being able to offer support and guidance where I can, but I also recognise how important it is to continue learning.

I decided to join Care UK because of its reputation. I have worked for other healthcare providers, and in my opinion, Care UK is by far the best.
