Edgbaston Manor provides dedicated residential, nursing and dementia care of the highest standard on a permanent and respite basis.

The home offers luxury interiors and facilities including a cinema room, hair salon and a beautiful rooftop terrace. Outside residents can enjoy the landscaped, sensory gardens.

Set in a quiet suburb of Birmingham, the home overlooks Calthorpe Park. Many of the large, en-suite bedrooms have park views. Upstairs rooms have balconies while ground floor rooms have direct, private patio access.

The home is arranged into smaller suites, each with their own stylish dining and sitting rooms, to provide a home-from-home for residents. The team arrange a varied activity programme and outings to local areas of interest.

Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each
individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing
Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I would give Edgbaston manor 10 out of 10 my brother was in Edgbaston manor for around 3 years the home is kept nice and clean the food was always good my brother really enjoyed it they looked after my brother so well they cared for him so well we as a family was so happy that we picked this nursing
home sadly my brother passed away in February of this year I would highly recommend this nursing home

I visit with my father every week or so to see our friend. It's always very clean, food looks great, staff are friendly and remember us. That's great and you get the family feel when you walk in the door. I also bring my children and they don't mind. We have attended your classes and get right in, it's
great fun and talking to all the men and women here. It would uplift everyone's mood and that's what's needed to get people out of bed. 5 stars.

My daughter was brought to Edgbaston Manor just before Christmas 2024. Her welcome at reception was so calm and everyone welcomed her to the home - my daughter was shown to her room and a welcome pack was given - plus a tray of food served beautifully. My daughter's care was excellent from the beginning

I just wanted to reflect on the care, compassion, kindness & pratical support given to my dearest mother. Thank you. My mother has been a resident for 5 1/2 years now. This week the lovely front of house receptionist & carer gave my mums distorted & contracted fingers a lovely manicure & finished with
painted nails, she then tidied her wardrobe & thanks to management new curtains! Little things matter.

The staff and Receptionists are very helpful and always happy to assist, polite and friendly. The building is clean, always well maintained. The maintenance team keep good upkeep of the home with repairs and decorating. Overall a pleasant Atmosphere from everyone, including carers and residents. My
mother has been a resident over 2 years now and the care home have always placed best efforts they possibly can to look after her well being. Very pleased! Thank you to all the managers, staff and receptionists.

Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their residents.
Everyone knows the residents by name. They are very helpful if any questions or needs. You can visit at any time with no restrictions which to me means 'nothing to hide'.

The genuine care and professional manner to which both my aunt and uncle have received since both became residents has been impeccable. There is a wonderful home feel. A sense of belonging that not only residents are given but the relatives and friends too. Nothing asked is ever responded to as a chore,
but with a really supportive and determined person whoever that person is, to help and make things better. This place, the staff, with the best chance of happiness!

Totally dissatisfied experience. On attendance to the home all things were good. Once arrived inside the home we experienced a resident defecating in my uncle's room. No staff were about and we had to raise concerns with the carers who finally appeared some minutes later. Human excrement was smeared
all over the entrance to 22, the room my uncle is in and the resident was covered in excrement. Not a good experience. My uncle's personal space and dignity were breached and insulted, and it left us very unhappy.

My friend is very comfortable in this care home. She tells me how helpful three particular members of staff are. She loves the food, especially the sausage baps. Reception staff always give visitors a really good welcome and are very happy to talk a little before you leave. Fantastic!

All of the staff we met when we came to sort out the resident's belonging after he sadly passed away were so supportive and helpful. They make a very difficult task easier to manage especially the reception staff. It was very clear that all of the staff knew him well, and had really cared for him. Certainly

My father was incredibly well looked after during his time at Edgbaston Manor and upon his passing the staff have been outstanding, showing the utmost care and empathy with the situation. I am very grateful for the support that the staff have given to me whilst sorting out his affairs and belongings,
they have made the process as painless as possible and been so understanding. The receptionists that have greeted me have been very welcoming and made sure that all my needs were catered for. I would definitely recommend Edgbaston manor to anyone looking for a residential home, you'll be in great hands.

My sister-in-law and I visited this care home as we were looking for a care home for our brother, we had three care homes to view that day and Edgbaston Manor was the first, upon entering we were made to feel very welcome by the receptionists, then the lady that showed us around was very helpful and
friendly, the whole atmosphere of the place felt really good and we decided there and then that this was the place we wanted for our brother and we didn't bother viewing the other care homes.

My friend has been helped by the staff to accept the move into full-time care. The building is well-kept, clean and well-appointed. All the staff are helpful cheerful and eager to help residents and visitors. The food looks appetising and there is a good choice with an opportunity for special requests.

Moving to a new place can be a challenging experience, but thanks to your dedicated and compassionate team, my dear friend is settling in. The welcome we receive on arrival from the receptionists sets the whole tone for the Manor. Warm, friendly and an exemplar of customer service. It is a great comfort
to know my friend is being cared for so well, and that my visiting experiences are so pleasurable. Thank you to the team.

My sister now living at Edgbaston Manor wanted to throw a party to thank friends for their kind support following her stroke in April. Edgbaston Manor staff stepped up to this very well. Before the day the Chef and the team worked thoughtfully with my sister to find her preferences for the menu and
setting. An attractive menu was created, with care taken over dietary requirements for the 20 guests. They even offered a backup system to play the exact music that my sister wanted. On the day, the Receptionist made all her guests feel welcome. My sister's carer had come in on one of her days off to help her get ready to enjoy the event, which was much appreciated. Edgbaston Manor benefits from a delightful rooftop terrace and adjoining lounge, which provides a relaxing and spacious venue. The quality of the food was, as always there, first-class. The party was a great success and gave great pleasure to us all. An excellent event thanks in great part to the staff.

I have been a registered Nurse for over 18 years and have 12 years' care home experience too. Throughout my career, I have learnt that a manager needs to be caring, have great patience and resilience to help support anyone within the home. It's important here at Edgbaston Manor that we work as a team and support each other throughout our home.


I'm a very open and honest person, and I'm always here if you would like to give any feedback about our wonderful home. My door is always open for both residents and relatives.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my daughter, and visiting my favourite place in the world, Cornwall.
