Edgbaston Manor provides dedicated residential, nursing and dementia care of the highest standard on a permanent and respite basis.

The home offers luxury interiors and facilities including a cinema room, hair salon and a beautiful rooftop terrace. Outside residents can enjoy the landscaped, sensory gardens.

Set in a quiet suburb of Birmingham, the home overlooks Calthorpe Park. Many of the large, en-suite bedrooms have park views. Upstairs rooms have balconies while ground floor rooms have direct, private patio access.

The home is arranged into smaller suites, each with their own stylish dining and sitting rooms, to provide a home-from-home for residents. The team arrange a varied activity programme and outings to local areas of interest.

Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission

My sister-in-law and I visited this care home as we were looking for a care home for our brother, we had three care homes to view that day and Edgbaston Manor was the first, upon entering we were made to feel very welcome by the receptionists, then the lady that showed us around was very helpful and
friendly, the whole atmosphere of the place felt really good and we decided there and then that this was the place we wanted for our brother and we didn't bother viewing the other care homes.

My friend has been helped by the staff to accept the move into full-time care. The building is well-kept, clean and well-appointed. All the staff are helpful cheerful and eager to help residents and visitors. The food looks appetising and there is a good choice with an opportunity for special requests.

Moving to a new place can be a challenging experience, but thanks to your dedicated and compassionate team, my dear friend is settling in. The welcome we receive on arrival from the receptionists sets the whole tone for the Manor. Warm, friendly and an exemplar of customer service. It is a great comfort

My sister now living at Edgbaston Manor wanted to throw a party to thank friends for their kind support following her stroke in April. Edgbaston Manor staff stepped up to this very well. Before the day the Chef and the team worked thoughtfully with my sister to find her preferences for the menu and
setting. An attractive menu was created, with care taken over dietary requirements for the 20 guests. They even offered a backup system to play the exact music that my sister wanted. On the day, the Receptionist made all her guests feel welcome. My sister's carer had come in on one of her days off to help her get ready to enjoy the event, which was much appreciated. Edgbaston Manor benefits from a delightful rooftop terrace and adjoining lounge, which provides a relaxing and spacious venue. The quality of the food was, as always there, first-class. The party was a great success and gave great pleasure to us all. An excellent event thanks in great part to the staff.

I volunteer here and this is such a wonderful home. The staff are amazing you can see they love the residents. The home is clean and always looks beautiful. It has a homely feeling when you are there and you are always made to feel welcome, staff are always laughing and welcoming.

I am very grateful to the staff who cared for my parents during their time at Edgbaston Manor. The care home staff went out of their way to accommodate us, including organising a pre-Christmas meal in December last year, which was a lovely family occasion that my parents responded to very positively.
The regular activities organised by the care home were also appreciated and it was especially good to hear how on one occasion my father had made a connection with two other residents who had worked in similar professions and how my mother's reading skills had been put to good use in a poetry reading to other residents. The genuine warmth of the staff towards my parents was evident on my regular visits and the staff were always friendly and willing to help.

Wonderful home to visit, such friendly staff and very accommodating. Lovely room, spacious bright and airy. Great eating areas, relaxing lounge. I visited the care home several times and find it to be nice and clean. The staff show a good caring attitude to the residents. On a couple visits, I noticed he was thirsty and asked the staff to give him a drink. He was quite happy with it and drank it quickly. I would say he enjoyed it. I recommend
staff check on residents' fuel intake. My overall experience is good. Reception staff are welcoming and polite.

All the staff are great and very welcoming. It is always very clean and my mother-in-law always seems happy, comfortable and well cared for. I think the home is secure and has very good facilities for families. Keep up the amazing work. Not all heroes wear capes.

The care home is always spotless. The staff are very friendly, kind and caring. They can never do enough for you as a family and for the residents themselves. The reception team are especially joyful and welcoming. I would never like my mother to stay anywhere else. She is extremely well cared for.

I am a friend of a resident. I can not comment on value for money. The staff are courteous and caring and the place is very clean. Sometimes there are not enough staff to deal with all demands of patients at once.

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for more than 18 years and have more than 12 years of experience working in care homes. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that being a good manager means leading with compassion, patience and resilience, while supporting everyone in the home to do their very best.


Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially my daughter, and visiting my favourite place in the world, Cornwall.
