Edgbaston Manor provides dedicated residential, nursing and dementia care of the highest standard on a permanent and respite basis.

The home offers luxury interiors and facilities including a cinema room, hair salon and a beautiful rooftop terrace. Outside residents can enjoy the landscaped, sensory gardens.

Set in a quiet suburb of Birmingham, the home overlooks Calthorpe Park. Many of the large, en-suite bedrooms have park views. Upstairs rooms have balconies while ground floor rooms have direct, private patio access.

The home is arranged into smaller suites, each with their own stylish dining and sitting rooms, to provide a home-from-home for residents. The team arrange a varied activity programme and outings to local areas of interest.

Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission

an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Edgbaston Manor is definitely home from home. With such amazing facilities, friendly and family-orientated staff, your loved ones are in great and safe hands.
My mother-in-law has battled with dementia whilst at home for the past few years. She moved into Edgbaston Manor recently, and it’s made such
a significant change. Mum is more at peace and relaxed.
Mum has a bubbly and joyful personality, and for some time now she lost her spark. Being at Edgbaston Manor, we can see her spark as comes back. As a family, we love it here, so much so that I’ve asked if I can move in myself!
Thank you to all the family (staff), for taking such good care of Mum. Words cannot describe how happy we are but know we have made the best choice for Mum to be a resident here.

I have been extremely impressed by Edgbaston Manor, and especially by the staff who work so hard there, and are so full of love and compassion. The calm, caring, and welcoming environment feels like a peaceful sanctuary. The facilities are very good, and the warmhearted support given is deeply moving,

I have been on a number of occasions and each time found the staff very friendly and obliging. The rooms seem to be very well decorated and clean. Residents seem to be well looked after and entertained, different hobbies encouraged etc.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The care staff have really helped my aunty settle in. The reception staff are always so welcoming and I enjoy chatting to them when I come to visit. I am a friend of the service user currently residing in Edgbast Manor. I have so far visited the residence on three occasions. On all occasions, I was met by pleasant and courteous staff. I have been a couple of times to visit my cousin and I've been satisfied with the way she has been looked after by the staff, especially on my last visit on the weekend. It was on a Saturday and I remember the staff being very chatty with my cousin and interacting with her which greatly helped her.
I would also like to add how extremely kind and helpful the receptionist was when I asked how my cousin was and also explained to me how things went on in the care home. Overall I came away with a very good experience of the way things were run and confident my cousin would benefit from the care she was given.

Please do not let the exterior and aesthetics of this building fool you into thinking that this is a good home. I can not emphasise how unprofessional Edgbaston Manor is and how their actions caused great distress to my father and to us as a family. Unfortunately, the review policy's content standards
mean I am unable to provide detail regarding some of the significant incidents that occurred during my Father’s time at this home. We made the decision to remove him from here in January and source an alternative home and are still in the process of following up on these incidents through appropriate channels and agencies. I urge you to consider an alternative home for yourself or your loved ones. This home is not well managed or organised and there are limited interactions between residents and care staff. There is much better care, support and enrichment out there. Look elsewhere.

From my first contact with Edgbaston Manor I was made to feel at ease and it was thoroughly explained that assistance from hospital to home (Edgbaston) would be taken care of, which it was. From the ladies on reception, all staff and kitchen staff are all very kind and extremely kind to my father. Nothing
is too much for them. The staff are very attentive, positive and patient. The cleanliness is second to none. The food is excellent and with many options. They encourage my father to eat and drink. He is changed and bathed every day. For the first time since Dad has been in care, Edgbaston Manor enabled me to relax, knowing that Dad has the best treatment and care.

A very pleasant, extremely friendly and caring place with exceptional service throughout, from the kind and helpful reception staff, to the carers, staff members and manager. It is just a peaceful and lovely place to go to, making it a lovely place to go back to. The entire place from foyers to rooms

The home provides a great place to live with friendly care, and knowledge of elderly people and their special needs and medical requirements. People are lucky to live there it provides an excellent end-of-life experience including fun, laughter and the happiness possible in the circumstances

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for more than 18 years and have more than 12 years of experience working in care homes. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that being a good manager means leading with compassion, patience and resilience, while supporting everyone in the home to do their very best.


Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially my daughter, and visiting my favourite place in the world, Cornwall.
