Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I have had an outstanding experience with Heaver court care home, my father has been a resident since April 2025 .
I am blown away by the exceptional care and service provided. The staff & management are professional & caring , they go above and beyond to ensure my father & all the residents are comfortable
& happy.
The facilities are clean & well maintained, with a range of activities to keep the residents engaged and stimulated. My father enjoys all the delicious & nutrition foods available.
What really stood out was the compassion & kindness shown by all staff & management, they truly care about the residents and family members & it shows .
I am absolutely delighted with my dad wellbeing, he has settled in well, & he expresses his feelings by saying how he likes the care home & all the carers.
I have a peace of mind when I leave my father after visiting, as I know he is happy and comfortable, & has made many friends who are in the same level of understanding.

At my first contact, they explained to me the process and what to expect. I was directed to their social media page to explore the home and was sent emails as examples of what the contract etc. would look like. All the questions I asked were answered, if the person I spoke with didn't know the answer
they found somebody who could answer and got back to me. It was a bit overwhelming when my Aunt first arrived as there was a lot of form filling and various people all wanting different things, but once that was all done it was more relaxed and we were able to settle my Aunt in more leisurely. I wasn't able to visit my Aunt over the two weeks she was there, but family who did, all reported that the home, staff and food were all very good and there was plenty of activities planned. My Aunt's own at home carers also visited and fed back that the home was well run and staff were very attentive. I would have no worries if my Aunt wanted to stay after her respite care.

My Mum moved into Cedrus in July 2025. We have found Cedrus to be a homely and friendly place. The staff are all very nice and nothing is too much trouble. There are plenty of activities for Mum to take part in if she wishes or she has a lovely spacious en suite room with everything she needs.

I have been a relative for many months, things have changed after the previous manager left. She was on top of things and standards have slipped. I'm sure they will improve again but I what the best for my loved one.
Staff are busy but always helpful, the language barrier can affect my husband at times
but the staff do work hard.
I do feel that it isn't the same home, the family feel has gone but it is early days with the new manger, I just hope for me and my husband it improves

My partner moved into this fantastic care home a month ago. The family and I couldn't be more delighted with the care he is receiving. It is so beautifully appointed that you could truly believe you are in a five star hotel. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble
for them. The food is first class and there are activities every day to keep the residents occupied. One couldn't ask for anything more.

From the moment that you walk in you are greeted with warmth and professionalism when I popped in to enquire about respite for my wife Helen. Nell is amazing and full of knowledge as she showed me around your beautiful care home.
She booked us in for an assessment with Hannah which was carried out
with exceptional detail, empathy and was very personalised.
I have just picked Helen up today ( Wednesday 29th October) and I have never seen her looking so well and refreshed after a week away. To know and appreciate that she is in such good capable hands as allowed me to recharge my batteries which was much needed.

To each and everyone of you that make up this amazing team thank you very much for everything because it really matters.

Looking forward to seeing you all next year

Ayton House

My father was in Ayton House for a period of 4 weeks to recover after a long hospital stay. He really enjoyed his stay and rest at Ayton House. He got to know many new people and the staff who looked after him well. Everyone was so kind and friendly and took the time to check on him and cater for his
needs. It was so nice being in a place where people said hello and checked on him, even if they were not directly caring for him; they took the time to greet him in the corridors and communal areas. He joined in some of the social activities and spent time in the lounges and café area. One highlight was the ability to watch some films in the cinema room in their pub! The whole facility is very new, modern and tastefully decorated, certainly comfortable to stay in. We would highly recommend Ayton House for short and long-term stays. Thanks to the entire team!

Overall my mother was very happy staying here for 2 weeks respite after a fall. There were a couple of small incidents at night which management were looking into. Overall all the staff were happy and always smiling, they seemed to really enjoy working at Knebworth Care Home. If I have to find fault,
it was not enough parking, which would deter me from my mother staying there on a full-time basis. A big thank you.

Have found Franklin House to be clean and tidy, staff friendly, helpful and professional, nothing seems to be to much trouble.
Activities arranged for the residents, normally a choice of meals available at the appropriate time, hot food could be warmer.
Happy with the staff who attend to his needs,
highly recommended.

My wife has resided at Foxbridhe House for 27 months, and provision continues to be outstanding. Her needs have substantially increased, by her care has been adjusted to match her needs. Carers and nursing staff follow consistent procedures and are always kind, patient, jolly, caring and polite to all
residents and their visitors. The care and garden are well maintained and are valuable facilities. Clothes are laundered to a high standard with a next day service. Food is adjusted to meet all dietary needs and is well balanced. The activity programme awaits the appointment of a new leader. Staff at all levels function well and my family are delighted with my wife's residency at Foxbridge.

Mountbatten Grange put on a lovely spread for my grandma's birthday, the staff went above and beyond to make it a special day! Tania was amazing and many compliments to the catering team who made a fantastic range if sweet treats and savoury treats and the most delicious birthday cake! A lovely staff
member was also on hand to assist my grandma back to her room! Thanks for making it such a special day! As a registered healthcare professional I have had many encounters with care homes and residential facilities, the staff were fantastic and this is certainly a care home I would highly recommend!

Would like to thank everyone at collingwood court care home for everything they did for my nana. My nana lived at the care home for the last 2 years of her life, as she has just passed away this month. I could not fault the staff there. They where always welcoming, kind and helpful when looking after
her. The night she passed they made sure that my family where there with her in the end. Several staff came to see my nana, weather they where working or not to say goodbye. They have also been amazing to my wife's nana who also lives at collingwood court. She loves the staff there and takes part in every activity. I can't take them enough, they go above and beyond.
