Barton Manor

I think this place is lovely for my mum, she came in for a week, and would come back its tidy clean staff lovely my father and mother in law are here so I know it is nice here, food good, would put myself in here when the time comes!

The Care Home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere with staff trying very hard to please both residents and visitors. Despite clearly being short staffed at times, particularly at weekends, staff do listen carefully to comments and suggestions presented to them. However, perhaps owing to overload there is not always evidence of follow through. The Care Home is well laid out with light and large sitting/dining rooms promoting a look and comfort closer to a good hotel rather than a care home. The bedrooms are excellent, very warm with plenty of storage space. My experience as a visitor has been very positive although I am not always sure that my father, who has dementia, is getting as much attention as I would prefer. There are many more female than male residents and lots of activities to keep most residents active, happy and involved. Alas my father has not really got involved with much and I recommended that more activities might be laid on that would be of greater interest to some men not into singing and dance. I note that this is already being reviewed and I wait to see if it is followed through.

We moved my mum into your home after being in Hospital. Then being moved into another (totally unappropriate care home) We found your staff to be so very helpful and considerate to our concerns, they made this move so easy and settled Mum with friendly, helpful and caring staff. We feel so relived to have Mum in an environment which she will enjoy and be able to call her 'New Home'. Thank you for making the process easier for myself.

Wonderful home and staff. All staff very knowledgable and kind to my elderly father. Thank you very much.

Caring staff and management. Everyone is aware of needs of the residents. Good choice of entertainment for resident. Being able to visit at anytime and greeted with a smile. No problems at all.

My first cousin is in your home and I find the staff are very good they act like family, which I find fantastic when and if Im ready to go into a home I will choose Barton Manor.

The home is very clean and tidy and staff are pleasant and kind towards the residents. The home understands the needs to each resident and help them lead a normal life at a time in life that can be difficult for them and their families. All the staff from front of house to carers, cleaners, and kitchen staff work hard and are understanding towards family members and make you feel very welcome to come and visit and stay as long as you like. 5 stars for a good service.

Thank you to everyone for taking care of me during my stay, I was so well looked after. Should I need permanent care, this is where I want to be.

I cannot thank the team at Barton Manor enough for the care and support they provided to my mother during her time as a resident. From the beginning, it was clear that Barton Manor is a home where residents are valued, respected, and cared for. My mother often shared how happy she was, and knowing her as well as I do, that is a true testament to the outstanding culture of care within the home. Even in her more challenging moments, the staff showed unwavering patience, kindness, and understanding. The professionalism of the team at Barton Manor is excellent. Every staff member I encountered was warm, approachable, and dedicated to delivering person-centred care. It is clear that the team is passionate about what they do. Their dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment for residents is admirable. I am grateful for the love and dignity they gave to my mother, and I would recommend Barton Manor to anyone seeking a place where their loved ones will be genuinely cared for.

From the first phone call, to a home visit, to an unannounced visit to Barton Manor Care Home, I felt so very reassured. What a kind and caring team of Staff. All so pleasant to talk to, so respectful to their residents and each other. All beautifully dressed, always smiling. Everywhere looked immaculate. All residents, visitors and staff looked so happy, relaxed and content. There was something for everyone, so many activities, I felt I'd like to stay myself. Every window had a different outlook, so would please everyone. All needs can be met - from personal care to hair done, feet done, everything that would concern you. A beautifully new building with residents needs in mind. I have had this home recommended to me so many times. It wasn't hard to see why. I feel any resident would be happy staying here and their family and friends would be quickly reassured that they'd found the right place for their loved ones.

I am so happy and impressed with the way Mother is being cared for, I doubt if there's better. The staff couldn't be more attentive. Bless them and thank you so much.

Excellent caring staff - always honest and informative. The facilities and meals are amazing as are the rooms which are wonderfully decorated. Barton Manor has a cinema for the residents and a hairdressers. I visited today and the wonderful receptionist had even taken the trouble to take a photo of my mum after having her hair done. The care manager is equally kind and knowledgeable if you have any questions. They are always upfront and honest about anything you ask them.

After a bad experience of a previous home, I am so glad that I found Barton Manor.

I was kept fully informed in a very timely way of any falls or illness and during the final days, I witnessed a level of care that could not have been more personal and loving. Unfortunately, Mum died whilst in Barton Manor and the staff were exemplary at that time.

Absolutely amazing care home. Amazing staff, the food is great (Mum says!) and it's more like a hotel! Genuinely love it.

Everyone is very helpful. The food is excellent and you don't have anything wouldn't like or want. The bedrooms are always kept tidy and clean and bathroom. The staff are always there to help. I will recommend the accommodation to anyone who asks. I can't say that there's anything or anyone who I dislike as they are very helpful and also there to help.

This was my first visit but I am sure it will not be the last.
