We will always be incredibly grateful to everyone at the above named care home for the wonderful care and kindness they showed our uncle during his time there. Sadly our uncle passed away but we take great comfort in knowing that he was cared for with such compassion, dignity and respect. The staff were always kind, patient and supportive, not only to him but to the whole family. Their dedication and genuine care meant so much to us during what was a very difficult time. Ponteland manor provided a warm welcoming and caring environment, and we always felt reassured knowing our uncle was in such good hands. The little acts of kindness and the compassion shown by the staff will stay with us. Thank you to the entire team for everything you did for our uncle and for the support you gave our family we would always be grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend

I have to thank the care staff for this. With humour and friendly engagement they brought me back to life. The laundry service, the medical/nursing service, the activities and the management were all encouraging and helpful. I enjoyed my five and a half months as a resident and made some good friends. I was almost reluctant to leave at the end, but I am very pleased that I successfully managed to live at home again. Thank you Ponteland Manor.

Overall, a happy friendly place that makes residents feel at home

From the first visit to my mother-in-law moving into Ponteland Manor we could not have found such kind, caring and patient staff. Nothing is too much for them to do. My mum-in-law has very high standards and likes her 'apartment' to be extremely clean, tidy and 'just so' which the staff all endeavour to maintain. The staff have helped her to settle in and the only blip is that she has recently fallen and broken her hip, but again the staff are dealing with this brilliantly! 5 stars.

The team at Ponteland Manor supported my mum with the transition from living in her own home to moving into residential care. They tailor support to ensure all her needs are met and encourage her to participate in visits and other organised activities for residents.

My aunt has been resident in Ponteland Manor since Sept 2025 and in that short space of time the positive transformation in her is unrecognisable. This is all down to the care, support and encouragement from all the amazing staff. They really are part of her extended family now. She is treated with utmost dignity and respect and with all of their help she's improved her confidence, she's happier, feels more independent, and has found her new home. It's clean, welcoming, fantastic food options, well thought out activities with a team of staff that really care. I can't thank them enough.

Ponteland Manor Care Home are providing outstanding care for my mum. Her previous care home did not do this and Mum was exceptionally unhappy. All the family are over the moon with how well Mum has settled here. The staff and management are truly fabulous, nothing is too much bother for any of them and they have shown Mum exceptional care, consideration and love. I cannot recommend this care home highly enough, absolutely exceptional in every way.

After leaving hospital in a sorry state, wheelchair bound, with the encouragement of staff mum, has regained her health and is walking with a zimmer. All staff have a ready smile and always have time to discuss / update you , nothing is too much trouble. Special shout out to the activity ladies, they do a fantastic job, ensuring most days there are activities in the morning and afternoon which mum loves. Home is spacious and seems well staffed, I am really pleased with the home and there appears to be a strong and focussed manager and team. Long may this last.

Every member of the team showed these qualities throughout, including the carers, nurses, catering, cleaners, manager and reception. They treated her with great respect, dignity and as part of their family. It didn't matter which job their description was, they all acted as carers to each individual resident. They would join in on activities and had many interesting conversations with the residents, when mum passed everything was made as dignified, understanding a easy for the relatives, offering a shoulder to cry on. I was very touched by the words of condolences and comfort given by the staff. A very long thank you to each and individual member of the team for helping mum and our family throughout this difficult time.

The empathy and care of the management and staff is beyond exceptional. Their knowledge and experience are exactly what every relative and resident would wish for when choosing care, and the attention given to the small details is wonderful. The house feels warm and friendly, the staff are highly approachable. This is everything care should be.

It's a pleasure to into The Manor. They are all so friendly and helpful, nothing seems a bother.

Ponteland Manor provides my mum with first class care for all her needs. The staff are diligent, hard working, and always attentive. They are exceptionally friendly and answer any arising questions I might have. The food provided is of a very high standard and nutritional (suited to an individuals needs) the programme of activities included on a daily basis is extremely well managed and thought out. The home is impeccably clean, tidy and maintained. Overall it is obvious to see that the care home has a strong management team, is well organised with amazing staff who truly care about the residents experiences.

We were worried about placing mum in a care home but after visiting there was no need to worry. Nothing was out of bounds, hidden and no questions unanswered.

The hard work your team does is so evident and shows with their interactions with residents and colleagues alike. My mum also said on numerous occasions how grateful she was to everyone.

I can't thank everyone enough for everything when the end came. You were all absolutely amazing.

Ponteland Manor is an extremely caring, friendly, and well run home. The activities are led by a very creative and enthusiastic team, however their ambitions are sometimes limited by the facilities, such is the success of the events they arrange. Wheelchairs do take up a lot of space!! However the manor provides a very valuable, welcoming and happy experience for my family and myself at this time in our lives, and I am so grateful.

My Mum has been a resident of Ponteland Manor for over 5 years & she is thoroughly happy there. The relief of knowing my Mum is completely safe & so well looked after in my absence is priceless. The staff are all lovely & nothing is too much trouble. There's a really comfortable & friendly feeling around the home which makes residents & relatives feel very welcome. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Wanting a short spell of respite care, along with family members we checked several local care homes by reading their brochure or visiting. Having chosen Ponteland Manor. The first thing to impress me was not only by the end of my first day, the staff all knew my name but also had a good idea of my likes and dislikes. Senior staff were out and about daily, very very approachable, problems were quickly resolved. The fact that after my period of respite care and having seen Ponteland Manor from the inside I converted to resident care is a strong indication of my happyness to be living here.
