The Care Home Manager has set a truly outstanding tone for the entire establishment. Her leadership is evident in every detail-from the high morale of the staff to the smooth, respectful, and compassionate way that care is delivered day and night. The Front of House Manager deserves equal commendation. From the warm welcome to the consistent professionalism in all interactions, they help create a sense of trust and calm for families and residents alike. Thank you to the whole team! As a dedicated healthcare professional, Lisa has a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people and is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.
Having worked at Samuel House even before the home officially opened its door, Lisa has built a dedicated, caring team at the home and works closely with them to deliver care in a way that values and respects the individual needs and wishes of each resident, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Lisa remarked:
"I have always been drawn to caring for the elderly. I have worked in the care sector since leaving school in 1990. I feel a great sense of pride whilst supporting others and being able to meet the residents needs, both physically and emotionally."
Lisa has also achieved much outside of work, and her proudest achievement is bringing up two strong and independent children.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys social gatherings and days out walking in the local area.
