My mother went in to hospital in Haywards Heath in July having become very weak. We lived 2 hrs away and keeping an eye on her was difficult. Her poor memory had left her unable to feed herself, take medication or use a phone or remote control. I asked East Sussex if it was possible to find her a carehome near us in Buckinghamshire and they came across Denham Manor. She is now fitter and healthier than she's been in years and when I visit we walk around the lovely garden. Her memory is no better but she's very happy there. The most impressive thing is the staff. They genuinely seem to adore her. I think its the culture of the place driven by Chris, the manager. All the staff seem really happy to work there. They're all so lovely. I was so worried that she'd be confused, difficult and anxious, but she's so happy there and I'm able to visit most days. Sometimes, like today, it was just a short visit and I took in our new puppy which everyone loved to see.

My mum stayed here for a few weeks at the end of her life and whilst it's obviously a difficult time for us as a family, the entire care team were superb - supportive, empathetic and friendly. As a location it's nice and peaceful, a beautiful house and garden. Full credit to everyone working there for the way they operate.

My mother was cared for at Denham Manor from March 2024 until she sadly passed away in June 2026.
I had visited a few different care homes to gain a better understanding of levels of care etc. and I decided that my mother would be happier here.
Having had no experience of having a loved one in care, I was naturally quite hesitant and nervous about what to expect. Just having to make the decision of relying on strangers to care for her was so daunting and one of the hardest things I'd ever had to do.
Thankfully, both my mother and the family were met and welcomed by the most friendly, cheerful and experienced of staff. They immediately gave us the confidence and reassurance we needed.
Mum soon started to behave like her old self and expressed her gratitude for being there. She felt loved and well cared for and able to be herself.
Everyone was treated with respect and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I cannot thank the entire staff enough for their dedication, commitment and support.

Grandad has been here nearly a year and is a picture of health most days. We actually held a wedding here so grandad could give me away as hes always wanted to do. Chris (manager) katrina and the rest of the staff were absaloutly amazing and so so kind and helpful. Always someone on hand to help when we visit. Grandad doesnt always remember alot but he always tells us how well hes looked after and loves the food, always tea on tap for him which he loves. So glad we chose this carehome for him. The whole place is beautiful and so homely and staff are always willing to help the best they can to make grandad happy and our family when we visit. Any issues when and if we have them are dealt with quickly and well. Thankyou all at denham manor

We moved my mum into Denham Manor in March 2026 for end of life care following a terminal Cancer Diagnosis. It was a big decision to make, but we need not have worried. From the moment she arrived, my mum felt safe and cared for. The wonderful staff are friendly, professional and welcoming and quickly got to know my mum and her likes and dislikes...particularly how she liked her tea!
As family we were welcome to visit at any time.. we enjoyed spending time together in the beautiful lounge area and taking mum out for walks in the wonderful gardens, watching the trees come into blossom and just spending quiet time together.
When it was time to say Goodbye, the staff supported us step by step and mum's needs were at the centre of all decisions.

We are eternally grateful for the wonderful care mum received. I can honestly say that nothing was too much trouble for them and I would truly recommend this wonderful Care home to anyone.

Thank you Chris, Katrina and Team.

Very impressed with all the staff at the home. My father who passed away in 2020 was in a care home in Harrow. There was no comparison. The level of care and compassion is off the scale with Denham Manor. I wish we could have placed my father with Chris and his team. His final years would have been so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Chris for looking after Mary.

From the first contact, I have been truly impressed with the welcoming and efficient nature of Denham Manor.
Every member of staff is friendly and happily makes the time to stop and introduce themselves.
My mother has only been a resident for a few weeks but in this time, with encouragement and support from all the staff she is changing from being very sad to smiling and even laughing again.
Residents are gently encouraged to join in with daily activities and sit together for meals. I genuinely believe that nothing is too much trouble and all staff seem happy to help or stop to chat for a while, whenever they can.
Denham Manor has a very calm feel which is just what we needed after going through quite a turbulant time. It truly has a home from home feel where everyone cares.
I am also looking forward to exploring the wonderful grounds at Denham Manor as the weather improves.

A huge thank you to Chris and the whole team for the kindness that you have all shown.

Denham Manor was the first home I visited and to be honest I didn't look any further. Chris the manager showed me around initially ,he was so welcoming and answered all of my questions and concerns in a professional and caring manner. I also met with other staff members who were cheerful and friendly.
My mother has been at Denham Manor for the last few weeks and I can't recommend it highly enough. It has such a homely feel about it. The staff are all so caring and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. There are activities available each day, my Mother particularly enjoys doing the puzzles. Last week when I visited it was another resident's birthday and everyone was enjoying an afternoon tea with China cups and saucers and wearing party hats, It was so lovely to see.
I feel extremely relieved that my mother is now safe and in the excellent care of Denham Manor.

Thank you Chris and team.

Our experience of Denham Manor has been exemplary. The next of kin of our friend lives in New Zealand so our family has been involved with our 104-year-old friend for the three years she has been a resident. I would recommend Denham Manor to anyone considering nursing care for a relative/friend.

I went to view the home looking for a placement for my mother.
It's not the first home I've looked at but have to say by far the best I've come across so far.
Chris the manager was lovely, couldn't do enough to help.
I looked around, went into the dining area and witnessed lunch time activities going on, again impressed by what I saw.

The home was clean and tidy, the staff welcomed me and appeared lovely and very friendly and caring. Some residents that were in their rooms appeared happy and comfortable. Have to say the feel good feeling won it over for me.

My nan was unwell at Wexham and had to be moved into a care home, we met with Chris and his team and was shown around the beautiful property, Chris went out of his way to get nan into the home quickly due to my Granddad being end of life. He moved them into a room together closely so they could see eachother often. The care + staff is the best we could wish for with updates and brilliant communication. My nan is very happy.

My mother has been at Denham Manor for the past 10 years. Initially she required little care but as her dementia has developed the care received at Denham Manor has been exemplary.
More recently under the management of Chris, a more community feel has developed whereby relatives views are taken into consideration. With more regular relative and resident meetings it ensures the residents are at the centre of everything they do. Relatives are informed and encouraged to join in activities with their loved ones. For me this is so important as I can continue to make memories with my mum when I appreciate she now barely recognises me.

The local community such as local groups, charities and schools are encouraged to interact with the residents bringing variety into the home.

We moved my father into the home in the summer of 2025 after looking extensively at other homes for him. He has vascular dementia but is still able to engage in activities and we felt that the home would be able to meet his needs. Family members can visit the home at any time. They have a large lounge and coffee area which family and visitors can use. The garden is large, the parking is ample and the house and grounds are very pleasant. Chris and the deputy manager Katrina are really helpful and quickly respond to any queries which is much appreciated. The nursing staff have been meticulous with my father's medication. I have found the care to be delivered in a person-centred manner for example, my father who is catholic likes to watch mass and the staff kindly ensure that he can watch this daily streaming this from his old church. We are confident that the staff will continue to work with us to ensure dad's health care needs continue to be met in the future.

Denham Manor have provided great care to my Godmother over a period of nearly two years. Katrina was so welcoming at our initial appointment and answered all our questions that we didn't look at any other homes for her as it just felt right. Our Godmother likened her room to one in a posh hotel and constantly said how lucky she was to live somewhere so lovely and safe. As she had dementia we wanted her to live as worry-free as possible and all the staff at the home provided the safe and caring haven she needed after a month spent in a frantic local hospital ward. Sadly, she passed away just before Christmas but during that time the staff keep us well informed between visits and ensured she was cared for with dignity and compassion.

I've been a Registered General Nurse for 33 years, and after I finished working as an NHS Staff Nurse & Charge Nurse, I have held various senior roles, including Chief Operation Office, Head of Care and Operations and Company Director for large and smaller care home operators.

My days are very varied, and as a Manager of a very busy care home, I am responsible for the day-to-day management, ensuring the best possible care for those living in our community. With the experience I have, I ensure I share this knowledge with my team in order to deliver great care.

The most joy I get from my role is seeing our residents enjoy meaningful engagement and seeing our staff enjoy their roles in caring for our residents. I believe we give all we can with compassion and love. I am proud to say my team have shown me they both care and love.

Family are massively important to me, and I pass those values onto my staff. I would be delighted to introduce you to Denham Manor and show you around.
