My father spent the final year and a half of his life at Denham Manor and it was such a relief that he was cared for properly, compared to 4 visits he was having at home where he had to wait a long time for support upon raising an alarm. I have found all the staff at Denham Manor to be kind, respectful and caring. My experience of the staff was that they listened and took notice when I had something to say about my father's care and they listened and supported my father despite his strong desire to want to pass away due to his frustration over his disabilities. The team were patient and understanding towards my father and I am extremely grateful for his time at Denham Manor, having the peace of mind that he was safe and cared for. Denham Manor is a welcoming place, with a warm and kind atmosphere due to the nurses, carers, maintenance and office staff's positive attitude and genuine care. My Grandad came to Denham Manor for respite care after a lengthy stay in hospital and also suffering the loss of our Grandmother. His progress since staying in Denham and the care he has received has made such a difference to his well-being and recovery and as a family, it has given us peace of mind he is being well looked after. The staff really do care about their residents, and it shows when we come to visit. The care home is clean, has a wide range of facilities and activities for the residents and they make such an effort to make my grandad comfortable. A big Thankyou to all the staff who have made his transition from hospital to a temporary home a safe and welcoming one.

My mother-in-law was admitted to Denham Manor in August 2021 after a short spell in hospital and a few weeks in another care home. She has dementia and it became impossible for her to stay in her own home safely after losing her beloved husband of 73-years. From the first meeting with the new manager, which is well deserved, it was clear that this was a place we could be sure that my mother-in-law would not only be safe but genuinely cared for. This has proved to be the case in the months that followed. Alongside the manager there are some really lovely carers who we can tell are genuinely interested in making the lives of the residents as happy and comfortable as possible. I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names but two members of staff, in particular, stand out for us. Thank you all.

My Mum came to this warm and welcoming home after staying in a care home whose standards were very low and where she had received awful care. Coming here was like a breath of fresh air, we walked in and instantly felt like this was a home from home. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We no longer worry about if her care needs are being met, as they are and much more! The staff are caring, conscientious and incredibly on the ball. Our mum sadly has lost her speech through having many strokes and the staff make an effort to try and understand what she wants and sometimes they know better than us! They are also very considerate in treating mum as a person with integrity and dignity. We are extremely happy and would recommend this home to everyone. We are so grateful to have found this place. The manager is approachable and we feel very comfortable speaking with her about any of our concerns or worries. We highly, highly recommend it.

Despite Covid restrictions, it has been possible to visit her three times a week and it has been clear that management and staff, who have acted professionally at all times, have done their utmost to look after her and keep her safe and secure. Her room is bright, cheerful and impeccably clean and the friendly and willing attitude of all staff has been of great benefit to her and her condition. I could not have made a better choice.

My grandmother has been a resident at Denham manor for 4-years. Throughout this time, the staff have always been kind, respectful and attentive. My grandmother has communication issues, and the staff really go above and beyond to help her. The management team prioritises resident care, which is reflected in the high standard of care given. The gentleman I refer to was transferred from the hospital in May/June 2021 at the age of 97 for palliative care. I have to say that he was not a happy fellow at the transfer! However, after a very short while, he warmed to the kind and friendly young ladies who took him under their wings and cared for him to the end of his life on 19 August 2021. Not only that, the staff were so proactive with their almost daily reports to me (as his named next of kin) that I don't think I would be overreacting to say I began to look upon them as friends. I am an elderly lady myself, but it occurred to me today that I never did leave a review for them on their website. All I can say now is ''better late than never". Thank you so much, Denham Manor.
