My 97-year-old mother and I had a wonderful time at the Christmas party on Saturday. All the staff are so passionate and caring towards the residents and couldn't do more to help and engage residents. They booked a wonderful singer and decorated the dining room beautifully. There was also a wonderful selection of food and drink something for everyone. My mother really enjoyed the Christmas word search that was put out around the room.

My mum only spent two weeks at Denham Manor receiving end-of-life care but during that short time, it was obvious how caring and professional the staff were, from the care home manager through to the carers and nurses. A lovely home with lovely gardens. I'm just sad my mum never experienced sitting in the garden as she was too weak. Thank you, team.

My mum was cared for by team Debham Manor in the last few weeks of her life. They were all so caring and loving to her that I couldn't wish for better care, also to all of her family too. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they went over and beyond to make her last weeks as comfortable for her as possible. I cannot thank them all enough for all that they did and would recommend them 100 per cent to anyone needing care in their lovely Denham Manor home.

My dad is a resident at Denham Manor Care Home and previously my mother was also a resident. I can't give enough praise to the manager and her amazing team for the kindness, help and support they all show to my dad. They can't do enough for him and always go the extra mile to make him comfortable and happy. It gives the family peace of mind to know he's in safe hands.
The food is great, according to Dad, and the grounds are beautiful.
Just a lovely caring attitude throughout the home.

Thank you to you all.

My mother-in-law was admitted to Denham Manor in August 2021 after a short spell in hospital and a few weeks in another care home. She has dementia and it became impossible for her to stay in her own home safely after losing her beloved husband of 73-years. From the first meeting with the new manager, which is well deserved, it was clear that this was a place we could be sure that my mother-in-law would not only be safe but genuinely cared for. This has proved to be the case in the months that followed. Alongside the manager there are some really lovely carers who we can tell are genuinely interested in making the lives of the residents as happy and comfortable as possible. I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names but two members of staff, in particular, stand out for us. Thank you all.

My Mum came to this warm and welcoming home after staying in a care home whose standards were very low and where she had received awful care. Coming here was like a breath of fresh air, we walked in and instantly felt like this was a home from home. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We no longer worry about if her care needs are being met, as they are and much more! The staff are caring, conscientious and incredibly on the ball. Our mum sadly has lost her speech through having many strokes and the staff make an effort to try and understand what she wants and sometimes they know better than us! They are also very considerate in treating mum as a person with integrity and dignity. We are extremely happy and would recommend this home to everyone. We are so grateful to have found this place. The manager is approachable and we feel very comfortable speaking with her about any of our concerns or worries. We highly, highly recommend it.

My wife of 62 years was admitted in May 2021 suffering from Alzheimer's when it became impossible to care for her at home. Despite Covid restrictions, it has been possible to visit her three times a week and it has been clear that management and staff, who have acted professionally at all times, have done their utmost to look after her and keep her safe and secure. Her room is bright, cheerful and impeccably clean and the friendly and willing attitude of all staff has been of great benefit to her and her condition. I could not have made a better choice.

My partner has been in Denham Manor for nine months now.
The nursing staff have been excellent in ensuring her comfort and responding to every need. They are most attentive and caring.
The supporting staff are very good at keeping me informed of my partner’s condition and are most helpful on the occasions I can visit.

The surroundings are comfortable, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

My parents have been residents of Denham Manor for just over a year. My father has dementia, and my mother has severe mobility problems, but Denham provides support for them both with their different needs and does everything they can to keep them together.
I am particularly grateful to know that they are safe at Denham. Recently a dodgy mole on my father's shoulder, which otherwise may have gone unnoticed, was picked up by staff, and a referral was made. He also has very sensitive skin, and special care is taken with their laundry, using non-bio so as to not irritate it further.

The staff are kind and caring, sometimes under difficult circumstances, and the place is always spotless.

My grandmother has been a resident at Denham manor for 4-years. Throughout this time, the staff have always been kind, respectful and attentive. My grandmother has communication issues, and the staff really go above and beyond to help her. The management team prioritises resident care, which is reflected in the high standard of care given. The building itself is grand and old, but well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a short stroll. As a family, we are very happy with the care Nanna has received. The whole team at Denham Manor are fabulous! Thanks, guys!

The gentleman I refer to was transferred from the hospital in May/June 2021 at the age of 97 for palliative care. I have to say that he was not a happy fellow at the transfer! However, after a very short while, he warmed to the kind and friendly young ladies who took him under their wings and cared for him to the end of his life on 19 August 2021. Not only that, the staff were so proactive with their almost daily reports to me (as his named next of kin) that I don't think I would be overreacting to say I began to look upon them as friends. I am an elderly lady myself, but it occurred to me today that I never did leave a review for them on their website. All I can say now is ''better late than never". Thank you so much, Denham Manor.

As we enter 2022, I would like to thank all the staff and management at Denham Manor for all they have done and are doing to keep their residents safe and comfortable through the past 2-years of the pandemic. My father has been a resident for 4-years; they have ensured his well being and maintained good lines of communication with his family throughout what has been challenging times.

Father was a resident at Denham Manor for just over one year. He suffered from Vascular Dementia and needed 24/7 care. The quality of the care and attention given to my father was everything that my sister and I hoped for when it became clear that care at his home was no longer possible. The manager was extremely well organised and approachable and her staff were very efficient and very kind. The quality of the facilities at Denham Manor was excellent and the hygiene and cleanliness were second to none. In these trying times of covid, it was very comforting to know that father was being looked after so well in a safe environment.

Denham Manor for me is special. I spent five months there recovering from an above the knee leg amputation. Whilst the building and grounds are stunning, it was made extra special by the staff, they are professional, kind and very, very caring. Nothing was too much trouble day or night. There is a very friendly atmosphere present, which is of great comfort to all.

I've been a Registered General Nurse for 33 years, and after I finished working as an NHS Staff Nurse & Charge Nurse, I have held various senior roles, including Chief Operation Office, Head of Care and Operations and Company Director for large and smaller care home operators.

My days are very varied, and as a Manager of a very busy care home, I am responsible for the day-to-day management, ensuring the best possible care for those living in our community. With the experience I have, I ensure I share this knowledge with my team in order to deliver great care.

The most joy I get from my role is seeing our residents enjoy meaningful engagement and seeing our staff enjoy their roles in caring for our residents. I believe we give all we can with compassion and love. I am proud to say my team have shown me they both care and love.

Family are massively important to me, and I pass those values onto my staff. I would be delighted to introduce you to Denham Manor and show you around.
