Over all time Denham Manor has 102 reviews.
The wonderful carers are consistently friendly and compassionate. They take the time to engage with her and I know she feels valued and uplifted. What is so special, is the fact, that the same carers have looked after her over the years. When I visit my mother I am always greeted with a welcoming smile. This applies to all the staff: cleaners, administrators, nurses, and food and drinks team etc.
The nurses are equally impressive and are quick to address my mother's medical problems. The environment is lively with lots of activities. DM. is a happy and homely place.
Every visit has felt incredibly reassuring which gives me peace of mind.
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and reassuring review. We're so pleased to hear how well supported your mother has been over the past three years, and that the continuity, warmth and professionalism of the team bring you real peace of mind. Your kind words about the leadership, carers and wider team will be greatly appreciated by everyone at Denham Manor.
We first got in contact with Chris the Manager he was so helpful and understood our needs and even came up to the hospital to view my grandfather within 30minutes of our call.
After visiting denham manor the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and made myself my wife and grandparents much more comfortable. The home itself is beautiful with bright comfortable rooms and a hotel feel for residents.
My grandparents are even in opposite rooms where they can visit and keep each other company whenever they feel.
Can't thank Chris and his deputy Katrina & Team for all their help.
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear how smoothly the transition went for your grandparents and that the team's support - from Chris and Katrina to everyone at Denham Manor - helped put your family at ease. It's wonderful that your grandparents can be close to one another, and we truly appreciate your kind words about the warm welcome and the home itself.
My neighbour was cared for in Denham Manor and the service I saw was excellent.
The staff and management went over and above to help with any issue that arose.
Not only did they welcome her into the home they welcomed visitors just as warmly. This place is like home from home.
Special thanks to Chris and Katrina and every member of staff I met.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are delighted to hear that your neighbour felt so warmly welcomed at Denham Manor and that you, as a visitor, experienced the same friendliness and care. Chris, Katrina, and the entire team take great pride in creating a home-from-home environment, and your kind words are a wonderful reflection of their dedication.
Thank you so very much.

Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt review. We're so pleased to hear that your experience of Denham Manor was so positive and that our team made such a warm impression. Your kind words about the care and compassion shown by the staff mean a great deal to everyone here. It's truly touching to know that you would choose Denham Manor for yourself in the future.
Denham Manor is providing excellent supportive and safe care for my father since he arrived in the Summer. The experience of moving my father in for initial respite and the smooth transition into a permanent place for him has been seamless. The staff are all long term, incredibly supportive to his needs and work with a person-centred approach to looking after him. The environment is one of a home with comfortable, beautiful rooms and an amazing garden. The staff work tirelessly to ensure that the residents are all well cared for and I often see them making a huge effort on birthdays and organising lots of events for people to participate in, should they wish. Denham Manor sparkles with cleanliness and my father enjoys a special coffee from the machine available in their beautiful lounge. The manager and assistant manager are very approachable and I trust that my father is being cared for.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear how smoothly your father's transition to Denham Manor went and that he's settling in well. It's wonderful to know that our person-centred approach and the efforts of our dedicated team have made such a positive difference. We're...
The care she received was at all times personalised, attentive and friendly.
What is particularly noticeable is the friendly atmosphere in the home and how all the team there go out of their way to maintain this aspect of the home environment.
The home itself is a lovely old house, well maintained and has a beautiful garden which my mother was able to enjoy in the lovely summer weather.
Whilst my mother didn't feel inclined to participate in too many activities she particularly enjoyed the VE day event put on by the home and whenever the school children visited.
A big thank you to all the team at the home for all their support and care right up to the end.
Thank you for taking the time to share such heartfelt feedback about your mother's time at Denham Manor. We are so pleased to hear that the nursing care she received was personalised, attentive and friendly, and that she was able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the home and garden during the...
The good weather the UK had during her stay probably made no difference to her experience but it did mean she could be taken around the lovely garden and enjoy time outside with the carers and residents. It was pleasing to hear she had taken part in a variety of activities the home put on and interacted with the residents and also school children who visited the home a couple of times while she was there.
The lovely homely atmosphere one always gets when you visit was commented upon by a friend who kindly popped in to see Mum. She, too, was made welcome and was impressed with everything she saw.
As ever, Mum enjoyed the selection and range of food and the care and respect she received from all the staff - from top to bottom - was much appreciated. Thank you All.
Thank you for your review it was lovely to welcome your Mum back to stay with us at Denham Manor and we have all been enjoying the weather and time out in our gardens together, we are pleased she enjoyed the activities and that your friend liked their visit. Your feedback will be shared with the team who will be delighted to receive it.
We looked at all the care homes in the area and Denham Manor we felt the most comfortable with. We managed to get a ground floor room with views of the beautiful garden. Once my mother was in we then found out the staff were so lovely and caring. My mother loved her stay there and she got to know all the carers personally and knew all about their families and backgrounds which made her feel so loved right up until she sadly passed. We actually miss going up there as we also chatted with all the staff on a personal level. I would highly recommend Denham Manor. Thank you for all the care you gave.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and for your lovely comments about our home and team - it was our privilege to care for your mother and welcome you all to our home and become part of our Denham family. We are really sorry for your loss and we hope we made your mother's last weeks as peaceful as possible. Your comments will be passed on to the team.
My mum was admitted to Denham Manor a few months ago. She was unable to get out of bed and could barely walk. Due to the caring nature of the staff she is now able to walk again and is able to get around on her zimmer frame. They do a lot of activities for the residents and my mum particularly likes playing bingo and she enjoys the singing. She has a lovely light and airy room and has come on leaps and bounds since moving there. We often take her out around the garden and sit in the beautiful grounds with her to look at all of the lovely flowers. We have come to know the manager and the staff and they are all so helpful and caring. Thank you for looking after my mum.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, it has been wonderful to see your mum improve since being with us, it is a privilege to care for her and we are pleased she has been enjoying the activities especially the bingo and singing. The care and services we deliver as a team to our...
My Mother in Law was a resident at Denham Manor for over a year and in that time, my family and I got to know all the staff very well. It was their empathy, humour and untiring professionalism that puts the 'care' into this care home. We are 100% delighted of our choice of Denham Manor.
We experienced the refurbishment of the building and many improvements to the facilities, but it is the quality of the staff and how they are managed, that make this home very special
Please just go and have a look and you will find that after you have negotiated the hideously bumpy access road, everything will go very smoothy!
Thank you for sharing such a warm and thoughtful review of Denham Manor. It's wonderful to hear how much the team's compassion and professionalism meant to you and your family throughout your mother-in-law's time with us. We're glad the recent improvements were noticed, but even more so that the people behind the care made a lasting impression. Your recommendation means a great deal to us all.
Knew my mum needed 24 hour care. I was concerned about leaving this to the staff at Denham Manor. Any worries I had have been totally unfounded. The care, attention and friendliness of staff from cleaners upwards has been amazing. I sleep well at night knowing she is in safe, caring hands. Thank you, Denham Manor.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we truly appreciate your kind words about our home and team, it is our privilege to care for your mum and that this has given you peace of mind that your mum is being looked after means the world to us. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
Our family are so happy with Denham Manor. My mother-in-law has settled in so well thanks to the wonderful care provided. The Manager, his Deputy and the whole team have gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome and happy. They encouraged us to take many personal items from her own home to make her room feel homely, which has really helped. We are looking forward to the summer so she can enjoy the extensive garden which we know will be beautiful. Thank you.
Many thanks for your lovely comments, our team is dedicated to ensuring every resident feels safe, happy, and well looked after, and it's great to hear that this has been your experience and that your mother-in-law has settled with us at Denham Manor, having those personal items in her room is so...
Mum went in for two weeks rest and care after a fall. Denham Manor was a clean, dry and happy place with plenty of room and light in common spaces. The staff seemed capable and willing. Mum always appeared well looked after. Little things like hearing aids not always put to charge overnight or telephone not to hand during the day, showed up to spoil the overall rating but the staff at Denham Manor do a good job in a difficult sector.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review about your mum's stay with us after her fall, we appreciate all of your feedback and this has been shared with the team.
The Manager and his Deputy are outstanding, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. One request and it's done!
Every single member of staff is friendly and happy, all genuinely loving their job.
Thank you all!
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and for your lovely comments about our home, team and the care your mum is receiving, we are pleased she likes her room and our gardens and hope she will get to enjoy them more as the weather improves. Your feedback has been shared with the whole team who will be delighted to receive it.
I visit my friend weekly, have been for a year. I am always greeted with a heart warming smile from ever member of staff on duty at that time. I leave my dear friend knowing she is loved and above all 100% cared for. Thank you everyone.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and for your lovely comments about your visits to our home and the care your friend is receiving, we look forward to seeing you again soon for your weekly visit and will share your feedback with the whole team.
As a family member of a resident, I cannot fault this care home. The care and compassion they have for the residents is the best you can ask for and it puts your mind at ease to have a relative in their care. When visiting the care home they are very welcoming and comforting and are always willing to help should you need it.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, our team is dedicated in providing compassionate care and ensuring every resident is happy in our home and feels part of our family and we're glad you feel welcomed when visiting and our care has given you peace of mind, we are always here to help and support as needed, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review.
My mother required nursing care after my father's death. Despite my worry that she wouldn't settle in, she now calls Denham Manor her home. As soon as you enter Denham Manor the warmth and care of the staff became obvious. After twenty months my opinion hasn't altered. The building has undergone major refurbishment during this time and the enhanced facilities are appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending Denham Manor if you are in a similar situation to my mother.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We're thrilled to hear that your mother feels at home at Denham Manor and is receiving such great care. Providing exceptional care and support to both our residents and their families is extremely important to us. Your kind comments have been passed on to the team who will be delighted to hear your feedback.
I can not thank the team at Denham Manor for their care of my friend. The care and compassion shown were exemplary. I was always made welcome and all questions were answered - nothing was too much trouble. You do an amazing job in what must be a very emotional environment. Thank you to everyone for making his short stay the best that you could do - you helped make things easier.
Thank you for your kind words, caring for your friend was an honour for our team, and we're glad you felt welcomed when visiting. Your gratitude truly touches us, and we're pleased we could help to make things easier.
I cannot begin to thank the Manager and his marvellous team for all their help and kindness. From the moment I walked through the door I felt that Denham Manor was the place for us. My mother was adamant she would never be in a care home so it was a hard decision to make. The transition was seamless. I know that she was happy and safe there. There was a huge security in knowing the staff on a first-name basis. Not only did the home make the user feel comfortable but also the family, even our dog was a regular visitor. I will be forever grateful for the caring service they provided.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It means the world to us that we could help your lovely mother and family when you had to make this difficult decision and that we made it as seamless as possible for you all. We welcomed seeing your family and your dog during your visits. To hear that...
My friend came to Denham Manor for end-of-life care. She was treated with love, compassion and respect. The staff were always happy and cheerful and attentive to her. Visitors were always made very welcome with tea and cake and happy to talk about the care she was receiving. Her last weeks were as comfortable and the best they could be, as she said herself, I like it here. Thank you to all the staff at Denham Manor who go the extra mile for their family of residents.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, it means so much to our team to receive this kind of feedback! We're so sorry for your loss and we hope we could make your friend's time at Denham Manor as comfortable as possible - we're so glad to hear that she liked being here and we really appreciate...

Meet the Team (1)

I've been a Registered General Nurse for 33 years, and after I finished working as an NHS Staff Nurse & Charge Nurse, I have held various senior roles, including Chief Operation Office, Head of Care and Operations and Company Director for large and smaller care home operators.
My days are very varied, and as a Manager of a very busy care home, I am responsible for the day-to-day management, ensuring the best possible care for those living in our community. With the experience I have, I ensure I share this knowledge with my team in order to deliver great care.
The most joy I get from my role is seeing our residents enjoy meaningful engagement and seeing our staff enjoy their roles in caring for our residents. I believe we give all we can with compassion and love. I am proud to say my team have shown me they both care and love.
Family are massively important to me, and I pass those values onto my staff. I would be delighted to introduce you to Denham Manor and show you around.
