After a fall resulting in a dislocated shoulder my previously independent 88 year old mother needed urgent care with everyday needs. I was presented with having to find a nursing/care home very urgently(on New Year's Eve!). I contacted Denham Manor , they could not have been more helpful and responded immediately, arranging for an assessment and my mum was admitted the very next day. From the moment she arrived she was treated in a genuinely friendly and caring manner. She was there for six weeks. All the staff were without exception faultless and went the extra mile on many occasions. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My mother-n-law was admitted to Denham Manor care home for end of life care. During the time she was there I was able to witness care and compassion of the highest quality. Up to the point of her very sad death she was treated with the greatest dignity and respect. The team at Denham were exceptional and I know my dear mother-in-law was happy and content in her last days. Everyone in the home were a delight to meet and demonstrated genuine compassion and care, I felt more like home than a care home. She and we felt perfectly secure and relaxed in her time there. When her body was removed from the home at last fifteen staff literally lined up in respect an amazing tribute.

My auntie was in a terrible state before she came to Denham Manor, what a transformation, she started singing and telling stories about her childhood, her whole demeanour changed. The staff are exceptional. A big thank you to all.

Very happy with the care/nursing mum has received since she became a resident in July 2014. Most of the residents had to be moved to different rooms whilst renovations were being carried out which was done with as little disturbance as possible. Over the last year I have got to know most of the staff quite well and have been made to feel like family which is comforting to know as I know mum is being treated as family also. My only concern is that some of the familiar faces have gone and having made some enquiries it seems they have left to go to other care homes where they can earn more which to me seems a shame to lose excellent carers due to poor pay.

My mother has been a resident at Denham Manor for 2 and a half years now, also my father before he passed away last year. During this time I have had no reason to complain about anything. All the staff are very caring and the nursing care is also good. Lovely nurses, nice the residents see the same faces. The home is run by and an excellent manager, her door is always open so you can talk to her at anytime. The refurbishment at the home recently is very nice and along with the beautiful gardens makes Denham Manor a nice place to live. I would recommend it to anymore.

Each time we visit the home we are made welcome, offered refreshments and find the staff, nurses and carers very friendly and show concern and consideration towards our aunt. We are most grateful for their help and care as we are unable to visit on a regular basis and rely 100% on their services.

Chris Ashton

I've been a Registered General Nurse for 33 years, and after I finished working as an NHS Staff Nurse & Charge Nurse, I have held various senior roles, including Chief Operation Office, Head of Care and Operations and Company Director for large and smaller care home operators.

My days are very varied, and as a Manager of a very busy care home, I am responsible for the day-to-day management, ensuring the best possible care for those living in our community. With the experience I have, I ensure I share this knowledge with my team in order to deliver great care.

The most joy I get from my role is seeing our residents enjoy meaningful engagement and seeing our staff enjoy their roles in caring for our residents. I believe we give all we can with compassion and love. I am proud to say my team have shown me they both care and love.

Family are massively important to me, and I pass those values onto my staff. I would be delighted to introduce you to Denham Manor and show you around.
