An excellent experience of Halecroft Grange. My friend has been a resident here for several months. She is well cared for by the staff, and the activities have really helped by providing her with the necessary stimulation. The food is excellent, and beautifully presented. Would thoroughly recommend Halecroft Grange.
Our mother has been here for several months. Initial contact was at a stressful time for the family, but the care team here were wonderfully reassuring, kind and flexible. We visited several other homes at the time - HaleCroft Grange was head and shoulders the front-runner. Since, we have been completely happy. The most salient feature is welcome we are made to feel every time we visit. It's already like an extension of our family. The home is immaculately clean, the staff smiling and the residents clearly very happy and settled. The rooms are large, and each with a kitchen area which helps maximise independence. It is clear that the staff know their residents well, and it's nice to see the same faces every time we visit. This is as good care as we could hope for for our mother, who is very settled here. Happy to give a strong recommendation without hesitation - you get what you pay for!

After it became increasingly difficult to ensure the safety and well-being of my 87 year-old parents( one with a dementia diagnosis and one with limited mobility), we visited three homes before visiting Halecroft Grange and it was apparent that this was the one with my parents immediately asking me to take them back for a second viewing. Unfortunately, external issues meant the process has been extremely fraught however, at all times , every single member of staff has shown patience, empathy and care towards my parents. Without exception , the staff are absolutely amazing. Sadly my Dad died but Mum is still living at Halecroft Grange and has settled really well now , making friends , enjoying the numerous activities on offer, going out in the mini bus (which she loves!) enjoying the delicious food and most of all, being looked after and kept safe. It was the hardest decision of my life but one I definitely do not regret and I would recommend Halecroft Grange wholeheartedly.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience.
We absolutely loved having them both here and we were so sad when dad passed away. We are so fortunate to have mum in our home - she's fantastic!!

For everything you're doing for her husband my father at this time. You administer everything with compassion and good grace, giving my father the dignity he deserves at this stage of his life. We the children are also very grateful at how caring and supportive you are to my mother Gabrielle everytime she visits. Both mum and John are firefly independent living unaided until this year as John turned 90 and my mother 88. We hold you in admiration and know if there is a time when my mother needs such care only Halecroft will be good enough! Thank you for being you at our time of need.

Halecroft Grange proved to be an excellent choice for a two month respite period for my mother. The manager, Shahvez, went out of his way to accommodate her wishes regarding a suitable room and the staff are delightful, discreet and attentive . Meals are plentiful with the option to have a tea time sandwich in the room when preferred . Cleanliness is excellent and a very calm and friendly atmosphere prevails.

We had a wholly positive experience which due our contact with Shahvez was both informative and reassuring. He was an excellent representative of Hale Croft and we were incredibly impressed with the facility which is first class. Shahvez struck exactly the right balance at a difficult time so five stars to him.

The staff from the initial contact with a particular staff member, the look around meeting with two staff members, through to everyday contact after move in have been excellent. They are friendly, remember everyone's name (even visitors) and are keen to help. The client has her dog in Halecroft with her and they are amazing with her too. Can't recommend enough.

Thank you. Moving mum to Halecroft has been a revelation. An amazing environment with the most kind and attentive staff. As a concerned family looking for a safe and happy environment for a parent who had been through a pretty miserable 13 months we could not be happier. Mum is in the best possible environment to support her in old age. From the spotless rooms and common areas through to the gardens, library and the car park Halecroft is a new home that any family would be proud of. We are greeted by name on every occasion. Mum loves the company of others, the trips out and the food in the bistro.
A special thanks to the customer relations manager for his exceptional customer service and care. The floor manager was brilliant in getting mum settled and managing a difficult transition into her new environment and making sure all the necessary support was in place. All the carers on the first floor have been exceptional. Everyone on the front desk greets you with a smile and genuine hello. A superb well lead team.

Mum has been a resident at Halecroft Grange since August 2023 initially to be with dad who was discharged from hospital into care with mobility and mental capacity issues but sadly passed away in early 2024. Initially mum considered her stay to be temporary, just to be with dad at his end. However, through the devotion, professionalism, kindness and caring nature of the wonderful staff and management I am delighted to say that mum has come to fully embrace all that Halecroft Grange has to offer, has made many friends amongst the residents and is now proud to call it "her home".
If there is anything I wish to discuss I very much appreciate the open door policy, willingness to listen and determination to promptly resolve any issue. Nothing is too much trouble.
My overall experience with the home remains outstanding and I have no concerns for the safety, wellbeing and security of mum. At first sight the home may appear expensive but in my my view it represents very good value indeed.

From the outset the quality and professionalism of each and every member of the staff is exemplary. Each individual knows their role and responsibilities which they undertake at the highest level, and the focus at Halecroft for everyone are their clients and their families. From the moment you step inside you know it is a very special place. It is immaculately clean, the residents are all happy and settled and really embrace all that is on offer to them. The wraparound care and support is just as it should be and exactly what you want for your loved one. The food is carefully planned and is plentiful and nutritious to ensure the health and wellbeing of the community. We know mum is happy and safe and all her individual needs are met, which in turn gives us total peace of mind. An amazing team doing an amazing job! Thank you!

My mum wanted to try respite in a care home, and after looking at a couple of homes, Halecroft stood out. The staff were very welcoming and assisted in making my mum comfortable which was very helpful as my mum was quite anxious about the experience. There was truly individualistic care offered by all the staff. The food had not been particularly appetising initially, however, this had already been recognised, and a new chef started whilst she was there. The food quality was excellent following this.
There were staff available when needed, and the home was warm, clean and comfortable. There were a variety of activities on offer, but my mum also liked that she could pick and choose activities of her choosing and have the flexibility of food in her room if she wasn't feeling well. I was very impressed with the communication from the staff, particularly the new customer relations manager in helping me navigate the introduction to care and also in managing my mum's anxieties.

Other car park issues are people taking two spaces parking their cars. Not sure how this can be solved apart from putting a sign on the cars telling them.

Any concerns are welcomed and resolved.
My mother joined in all the activities and had her wish recently a visit to the seaside organised by the activities staff.

For a year she lived in the general community but last year she moved to Reminiscence where her needs could be better met.
Her dementia has progressed rapidly and she is no longer able to join in activities or feed herself. The care team have ensured she is well looked after and patiently sits by her to feed her at every meal.
She is always dressed in clean clothes and is bathed very regularly. Staff stop to talk with her even though she is not always able to answer coherently. If she is very tired she is put back to bed and allowed to rest til she feels more alert.
She has had several falls due to her condition and these have been dealt with professionally.
An important feature for me, the home is spotlessly clean and there is never a smell. The staff have become my extended family, it's a loving place.

Halecroft Grange has a wonderful atmosphere and the residents always seem fully occupied and engaged in the main areas. I always visit unannounced and have always found the staff welcoming and kind, My mother is very happy with the home and all the residents I have spoken to also seem content with the levels of service they receive. My only slight concern is the food variety and quality could be improved a little. Other than that I am very happy with the home.
