The greeting by the reception girls is friendly and very helpful. All the members of staff are also very helpful.
The home looks very clean, the gardens are well tended.
One feels welcome at all times. After visiting many care homes, Sunrise would be my choice if I could afford it.

My mother seems to have settled in well. It is good that she is often in the main rooms and not alone in her own room. She likes having the company and finds the staff very helpful. She enjoys the music provided and it is good that there is stimulus for those who suffer from dementia. There has been
a good variety of food and staff always willing to provide cups of tea.

The experience is a very nice one. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Whenever we had any concerns, Sunrise of Hale Barns staff have always endeavoured to meet them or try to sort our queries out. We've been offered something to eat even when we are just visiting our Mum. We are very happy with the

I have been happy with the care given to my father and previously to my late mother. The costs are quite high, but it meant that Dad was able to have a room with a separate bedroom and plenty of space for the 3 piece suite and coffee table, and a little alcove which is ideal for his computer.


As

Mum had dementia, she was on a separate, secure floor, but being in the same building made visiting easier for everyone.

All employees from senior level to more junior made my mother welcomed and wanted within Sunrise. They were also considerate of her families needs and requests.
Observations thus far have shown the care home to be efficient and well run.
No concerns other than the length of time my mother can remain
there due to high costs associated with her residency there.

The home is beautifully presented and welcoming. What sets is apart is the professionalism of its staff. They work to very high standards and give confidence that they will care for your loved one. Communication is excellent and it's always easy to talk to the person you need advice and/or information

Sunrise is a great place for older people who still have good mental capacity, and good communication skills, but for someone like my mother with dysphasia and comprehension problems, their staff are not trained up to an adequate level to meet their emotional and physical needs.

Good dining facilities, but the care not what I would expect for that level of weekly charge. Mixed staff - some who you can see caring is in their genes, some who it is a chore. Don't get me wrong, like being in a hotel - but I'd say same level of care to cheaper care home.

A first-class home in a very convenient location (walking distance to local shops and surgery) with an excellent range of accommodation and facilities. Staff are courteous and caring throughout. There are plenty of activities should a resident wish to get involved. Various levels of care and support

Sunrise provides an extremely safe and comfortable environment with plenty of very professional and friendly staff. Whilst certain elements will need to be adjusted to suit an individuals needs the staff are always more than willing to seek to ensure that these needs are met eliminating any potential

A lovely caring environment, with the greatest asset being the staff. Nicely appointed rooms, which can be personalised, and very pleasant gardens. A full diary of activities every day and in which residents are actively encouraged to participate.
My father-in-law (aged 96) has been resident 7 months
and is very happy.

Nice building and surroundings, shame I cannot say anything positive about the care.
My mother in law is slumped in a chair all day, which has now led to further health problems. If I can manage to get her up why can't they? I work in care and see plenty of Dementia customers that enjoy a good quality
of life because they are treated like an individual and promote their independence and have some one to one conversations. Sunrise is expensive and the care does not represent that, they wanted more money because my mother was getting more difficult, gave no empathy or showed concern about her wellbeing! They specialise in Dementia and staff should be able to deal with challenges in the care industry, the patients on the 1st floor all look depressed and unhappy, no person centred care whatsoever, avoid!!

Job Title: Home Manager

My name is Suzi Sumegi, I am a qualified nurse, and I have worked within the field of care for the past 34 years. I have gained an extensive knowledge base on care delivery, and throughout the years, I have also obtained a certificate in management. I re-joined Halecroft Grange after a seven-year absence, and I am thrilled to have re-joined a fabulous team. It is an honour and a pleasure to care for the residents at Halecroft Grange, and it is my ultimate goal to ensure we, as a team, deliver the highest standards of care with a person-centred approach.
