My mother has been here for a few years now and we are very happy with the care she receives. It was very difficult during covid lockdown, but the home did as much as possible to enable us to maintain safe contact. There are many activities for residents to choose from, and trips out, limited only as Mum has to use a wheelchair. We find the staff very kind and caring.

My mother moved into Halecroft Grange in early February. As I am sure with all new residents, she was very nervous and unsure about the move. The staff at Halecroft have been unfailingly kind and supportive of her. She has settled very well and far more quickly than we had expected. The range of activities, both physical and mental for the residents is excellent. My mother has improved noticeably since her move to Halecroft. She is more confident, outgoing, engaged and stimulated.
The varied diet/menu and food quality is also excellent at Halecroft. My mother has even managed to put on a little weight.

All around we feel that this move has been so much more successful than we could have hoped for. It's all down to the excellent team and the way they run and manage Halecroft. Thank you one and all. You do such a good and vital job.

I was very pleased with the level of care my mother received during a respite stay. The management and staff were attentive and caring and the facilities were excellent and had a homely feel to it. I have no hesitation in recommending the care home to others.

Prior to Halecroft Grange, we had looked at several different care options for my mother.
As soon as we visited Halecroft, met and chatted with the Director of Community Relations, staff members and other residents, we knew this was perfect for my mother.
The entire process, from our initial enquiry to the move into the home was easy and totally stress-free.
My mother has been living at Halecroft Grange for just over three weeks, initially on a trial basis.
I think it says it all when, after less than a week, she decided that this was the perfect place for her to live.
She and we are so impressed with all the staff we have had contact with, friendly, kind, respectful and ready to respond to any request.
She has made friends, is engaging in many of the activities and is stimulated and happy.

We have nothing but praise for Halecroft Grange.

HaleCroft Grange Care Home is just like an extension of our family. Mum has been there for seventeen months and the family feel that a huge weight has been removed from them as she wants for nothing. She has a very high standard of personal care given in an extremely caring and understanding manner, the staff are there for her whenever she needs a little special one to one. The staff actually listen to her and remember the things that are so important to her and speak to her about her happy family memories, even sparing time to see a photo or two! The care home and residents apartments are kept meticulously clean and there is a lovely fresh smell within the home. The activities team listen to the residents and provide outings and activities to suit all and are always so cheerful and willing at all times. Concierge is managed in a very professional manner, the staff always there with smiling faces and smartly dressed and they show a real kindness to the residents too.

Thank You HaleCroft Grange.

All the staff at Halecroft Grange are extremely accommodating and look after mum very well. Making sure all her needs are met.
Mum loves going out on outings and enjoys the activities.

My only criticism would be more exercises for those over 65.

My mother broke her hip in August 2022 she was no longer able to live with me. Halecroft made what could have been a very traumatic and worrying decision a seamless and positive decision and made it a very easy decision to make. They have been so helpful with settling my mum into her new home. It is a lovely environment the staff are all very caring and excellent. They go above and beyond for all residents. Very happy with our decision, so is my mum she has a new lease of life new friends and a great social life.

We only have praise for Halecroft Grange and all its staff.
My father spent three months there recuperating after a hip replacement.
Bright, cheery, friendly - these words best describe not only the home itself but all the members of staff. It really does feel like home.
The care my father received was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile.
Very pleasant surroundings, delicious meals and plenty of activities.

Highly recommend.

Mum moved into Assisted Living at Halecroft Grange last autumn. The staff couldn't have been kinder in helping her to settle and she is enjoying making new friends. Her room is comfortable and bright and the food is (mainly) good. She enjoys all the various activities and we, as a family, feel relieved that she is being well looked after in a safe environment.

Halecroft Grange has been the ideal place for my mum after she broke her hip. The food, facilities and activities are second to none, and the staff are fantastic, with nothing too much trouble. We're delighted that mum is both happy and well cared for, and couldn't ask for anything more from a care home.

My mother recently moved to Halecroft Grange. Although she is settling in nicely I thought there should have been a little more induction on the first or second day, eg. just a run through of what happens on a daily basis time wise and which type of carer assistant does which job. My mother moved in on a Friday and maintenance does not work over the weekend so things were not properly put in place nor working until the Monday. As I do not live nearby I had no way to contact her for 36 hours!

Halecroft Grange is a wonderful place and my father is so unbelievably happy. He is treated with respect and the home goes above and beyond to make sure he is well.
We had been looking for care options for a while before we found Halecroft Grange and right from the start I knew my father would be happy there. The community relations team were welcoming and made the move into the home as easy and quick as possible.
The staff at Halecroft Grange are highly trained and professional. They always have time to chat with residents and families. The food is excellent too.
The activities programme at Halecroft Grange has been brilliant. Since my father has been there he has had trips to Manchester and the surrounding areas and he has enjoyed a variety of daily activities.

It is wonderful to know how happy my father is at Halecroft.

Halecroft Grange is a first class care home. The home and grounds are kept beautifully and my dad's room was well appointed, bright and airy.
My dad was a resident in the Reminiscence suite which in my opinion provides an excellent experience for the residents.
The unit had a real family feel to it and we all felt welcome and at home there.
Every member of staff that I came into contact with was excellent.
The management team were efficient and the housekeeping, cleaning and entertainment staff were wonderful.
The daytime carers were kind, respectful and caring and the night time carers were truly exemplary in every way.
In the last few days of my dad's life the dignity, compassion and sensitivity shown to Dad and all our family was outstanding. I will always be immensely grateful for the incredible love and support the staff gave to Dad, myself and all the family.

Thank you for everything.

The team bent over backwards to get my mum in for emergency respite care. She seems to have settled in well and is now happy whenever I speak with her. The staff seemed to know her name within a few days. She is also cleaner than for a long time following an assisted bath.

The rooms are huge when compared with other residential homes I have viewed, including a kitchenette with kettle and fridge, and in very good repair.

I decided to put my husband into Halecroft Grange for a few weeks while I recovered from a knee replacement operation. I am delighted with this choice. He is very content and thinks the staff and the food are excellent. The dining room is similar to that of a first-class hotel. He has a lovely light bedroom with access to a telephone so that he can keep in touch with friends and phone me night and morning. Whenever I visit, I find the staff friendly, polite and always helpful. I have nothing but praise for Halecroft Grange.

I now have both my mother and father in residence at Halecroft. They both have very different care needs meaning they reside in different areas of the facility, but the staff work hard to ensure they can both see each other and spend time together on a regular basis.
My mother initially went into Halecroft on a respite basis but has felt comfortable enough to now extend this into a more permanent stay. The room staff picked out for her based on her profile (she quickly recognised the need for Mum to have access to an outside space) has been perfect and has really made the experience a pleasurable one. Mum has also been encouraged to join in some of the activities on-site and this, together with the caring attitude of all the staff, has meant that in a relatively short period of time she has started to feel a part of the bigger community.

At a difficult time for her Halecroft has really given a boost and will go a long way to making the final chapter of her life a happy one.

We were in need of a place for my mum who was increasingly struggling to care for herself at home. All three of us daughters live at a distance so it was difficult to help. Halecroft provided a speedy assessment and offered a respite place. The home, gardens and rooms are beautiful, food excellent and staff very warm and caring. My mum is very difficult to please but she has persistently said how good all the aspects of care are at Halecroft. Thank you!
