We needed short term respite care for dad and chose Mead Fields. At Mead Fields my dad received attentive, compassionate and individualised care. The staff worked as an excellent team; they communicated effectively with us and always had time to listen to dad to help him in any way that he needed
including reassurance and friendly companionship; The staff treated my dad with respect, dignity and they consulted him to find out what he needed and how best to fulfil his needs by supporting him to make decisions for himself. The staff made my dad feel safe, respected, and valued.The home felt like a 5* hotel and was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff encouraged dad and supported him to participate in activities including eating in the restaurant. Prior to dad's stay we were particularly concerned about his mobility, the staff were able to support dad to walk short distances using equipment which was fundamental to him returning home. I would definitely recommend Mead Field Manor.

My father needed respite care and Mead Field Manor was recommended . On arrival it looked like a high quality hotel which impresed us all. The standard of cleanliness was second to none which continued throughout his stay.
The dinning area was like a resturant with daily menus on each table with a
great selection of healthy well balanced food. My dad is fussy but always commented what lovely food was available.
The care staff were kind approachable and always treated my dad with respect and dignity. They always found time to discuss any worries we had ,but more importantly they always found time for him.
The manager was approachable and proffesional with a good sence of humour .
The daily entertainment was varied enjoyable and fun. The co ordinater was exceptional with amazing energy. The staff always encouraged residents to join .
Overall i would highly recomend Mead Field Manor to anyone and can honestly you get what you pay for which is an exceptional service.

The staff at the care home are always kind and polite no matter what time of day. Monika, Vicky and Victoria have been very helpful. Located on outskirts of Weston-super-Mare it's easy to get to and park the car. Meals look very tasty with variable options throughout the week. Residents rooms are always
clean and tidy. All staff engage with residents and provide company and reassurance.

My mother has Alzheimer's and as such could no longer live on her own at home. Mead Field Manor has come as a godsend for the family. It's such a beautiful place. Almost like a luxury hotel! More importantly, the care Mum is receiving is so good. The carers are kind and interactive and are always on
hand to help. There are plenty of daily activities for the residents to get involved with, but it's not forced. If Mum wants some quiet time, she can have it. I can't rate Mead Field Manor enough, and I highly recommend it.

The care home has a lovely warm atmosphere the staff always make you feel very welcome.The home is very modern and spacious with lovely facilities .
The care provided to my mum is of a high standard taking into consideration her individual care needs
having Alzheimer's .My mum is often feeling very
vulnerable and needs a lot of reassurance and understanding .The carers are always kind and considerate to her needs .
The carers are also very supportive to the us as a family who visit regularly .
The meals , snacks and drinks provided throughout the day are always appetising with lots of variety and I would certainly recommend .
The activities on a daily basis are simply the best which makes all the residents smile and happy making their whole experience of living in a residential home a better enriching quality of life , which is so important in the later years .
I have no complaints only praise for the care that you provide. Thank you

Moving our father to Mead Field Manor this summer has been the best decision we've made while navigating this hard stage of his life. He's so much happier, calmer, and looks years younger.
The staff are wonderful - they've all made such an effort to get to know Dad, he's built good relationships with
them and his fellow residents. It's hard to put into words the difference in him - but it's been quite a transformation . It shouldn't be so hard to find somewhere you know your loved one is safe and looked after so well. I definitely sleep better now he's so well cared for.
The food is fabulous - every meal he says is the best he's ever had. It's just lovely.
And as a visitor we're welcome and feel so at home there - able to make important memories in a lovely setting. The home is immaculate.
The manager is wonderful and so professional. It's a testament to her leadership that the staff are so dedicated and positive.
Truly grateful for all they do.

Mead Field Manor immediately feels warm and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of smiles and laughter.
The facility is well designed and fitted out to a very high standard.
During mum´s residence, the staff have been caring and respectful, with nothing being too much trouble.
There
is a wide range of activities, with something for everyone.
The food is freshly prepared, with flexibility to cater for individual preferences.
Thanks to all the staff for everything you have done.
I wouldn´t hesitate to recommend Mead Field Manor.

I arrived at this beautiful Care Home on Sunday 1st June 2025, having been discharged from Hospital, feeling very venerable post invasive surgery.
This has to be one of the best things my son has ever done for me - finding Mead Field Care Home, so local to my home too.
Well, what a welcome! I
was treated to the kindest reception anyone could ask for late on a Sunday afternoon.
I came from a 5* hospital straight into a 5* Care Home - how lucky was I!
The Care Home is beautifully appointed, with amazing rooms, and facilities beyond believing.
The staff cannot do enough for you, and I mean All of you. I am so touched by your caring professionalism.
We, the residents, are allowed our dignity, our privacy when needed, but with the option of joining in one of the many activities on offer. And there are many!
The food is lovely - well done Chef, and the catering staff for going that extra bit to keep everyone happy!

This is a wonderful home. It was important to us to find the right care for our mother. She needs 24 hour care as she is immobile and has Alzheimers.From the first contact with Mead Field Manor Staff, I felt it was an organised, caring place with dedicated staff.
Our mum spent 4 weeks there, the difference
in her was remarkable! Mead Field Staff looked after her so well; she became more engaged. Mum was relaxed and was more aware of what was going around her. She was treated with respect and dignity. Everyone did care! The surroundings were top notch; well thought out and very clean. Even the way mum's clothes were handled was with great respect. The residence has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is peaceful and calm. There is a lot going on, including plenty of laughter! Nothing was too much trouble for residents or visitors. We cannot thank Mead Field Manor enough for the way mum was looked after. Hopefully, mum will have more respite breaks there. We highly recommend this care home

Mead Field Manor is a friendly and well run care home, with great facilities. The staff are in most cases really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The manager is really accommodating and helpful. I have had experience of other care homes and this one is by far the best. There is a recruitment
drive on currently and new staff have been inducted as the home fills up with new clients.
The care my mother receives is of a high very high standard. The home are welcoming to friends and family and work has to be inclusive
in their approach.

The staff at Mead Field Manor are amazing. The home itself is like a 5 star hotel. The facilities are second to none. My mother became a resident there at the end of January this year and absolutely loves it. It's reassuring to know that she is so well cared for and that she is happy there. The food
is excellent and it's nice that the residents are able to choose what they would like from a menu. Nothing is too much trouble and visitors are made so welcome. There's always the offer of tea and snacks when you arrive! The environment is first class everything is spotless and the atmosphere is friendly. I have visited many care homes over the years through the course of my work and this one is definitely a ten out of ten!

My mother has been at Mead Field Manor for the past month, and we've both been impressed. The staff have been consistently friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. My mum can be hard to impress, but she has been very happy with the food, the facilities and the care - she's said more than once that
she "can't fault it." From my perspective, seeing how well she's being looked after is reassuring. The atmosphere is calm, cheerful and respectful, and the team seems to balance attentiveness and allowing residents their independence. A very good experience so far.

Discovering Mead Field Manor literally on our doorsteps just after it opened last October, was a life changing discovery for my Mum, and my family who had desperately been trying to keep her in her own home safely for four years. From the moment we arrived for a viewing, we were greeted with warmth
and kindness and welcomed into the Manor which had an ambience that felt more like a 5 star hotel than a care facility. The design and decor of every room and living area really is of the highest standard and attention to detail is evident throughout creating a calm, cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We were also completely blown away with the understanding and empathy of the team during the viewing who completely understood the magnitude of having to make this very difficult decision in the best interest of our Mum, and supported us as a family every step of the way.
Staff and management are exceptional and Mum is thriving and happy and loving life again - we are so grateful :)

When I was looking around before mum moved it , the home had a lovely feel to it very calm didn't feel like a nursing home felt like a hotel .
The staff are very friendly they are there for our loved ones and supporting family members .
Mum since she has moved in seems very settled , I can rest
knowing mum is being well cared for and is safe .

When I needed to move my 90yr old Mum from her previous care home, I was worried our expectations of care homes were unrealistic, but any worries or concerns were just blown out the park, Mead Field is 5*
The care mum has received has been truly fantastic. Every member of staff without exception has
got to know mum personally and are always willing to help and assist with any care my mum requires.
The staff are always so cheery and polite and go the extra mile to help, nothing is too much trouble for them. The positive and welcoming attitude starts with Front of House and continues right throughout all the care staff, Senior carers, house keeping & maintenance. Mums keyworker is a breath of fresh air and genuinely seems to love her job. Staff already feel like family.
Mum has been treated with respect and as a family we are kept well informed, any concerns raised have been dealt with swiftly and appropriately.
What an inspirational well led care home.

I recently spent two weeks at Mead Field Manor for respite care, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff, who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at home.
The care I received was exceptional.
The team was attentive, kind, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. They took the time to understand my individual requirements.
The facilities at Mead Field Manor are excellent-clean, well-maintained, and designed to provide a relaxing and safe environment. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel more personal.

Absolutely lovely care home. I can not recommend this care home enough. The staff are all fantastic. The home itself is amazing. Everything is done up to a very high standard. It's like walking into a hotel. The residents do daily activities from flower arranging, to making cakes. etc. The home is friendly
and welcoming. I'm so happy with the level of care on offer. I would highly recommend you visit! You won't be disappointed. I want to move in myself it's that good.

I have experienced 2 different care homes. Mead Field is the best and tops the other homes. The staff, food and cleanliness of the home. This is a different kind of care home, like a luxury hotel and home from home.

My mother has been resident at Mead Fields for the past week, following her hospital discharge. The transformation in her is remarkable. Mead Field Manor is an outstanding care home in my view. The building and the facilities are excellent but what really makes it so extraordinary is the staff. Each
and every one of them offer friendly and exceptional care. They all appear to really enjoy their jobs and nothing is too much trouble. They are so attentive and considerate. My mum has settled in quickly and is thriving. I cannot thank Mead Field Manor staff enough for all they have done for her, and this is only after a week - I have such peace of mind. Thank you.
