Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Neva Manor Care Home. You will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and valued in a warm and homely environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and mealtimes
- Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Assisting with activities and social engagement
- Recording and reporting changes in residents’ health or behaviour
- Following care plans, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures
About You
- Kind, patient, and caring with a genuine passion for supporting others
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and flexible to work shifts, including weekends
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential — full training provided
